In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we witnessed **multiple queues of men lining up outside the Salvation Army in Braintree every Thursday. We believe this operation is funded by Care4Calais, and one of our team was able to attend inside on the Thursday before Christmas to see first-hand what was happening. This is what goes on inside the Salvation Army in Braintree on a Thursday. Meanwhile, our homeless and our veterans are struggling, people are living in temporary accommodation, and many cannot even afford basic meals. We called the vet and unfortunately they don’t have the option to come to us today due to their busy schedule. We are booked in at 4pm and will bring our baby girl home for the others to say goodbye before our final goodbye at the cremation tomorrow. There are simply not enough words to say thank you.
