The Epic of Gilgamesh describes Giglamesh as 11 cubits... tall, with a chest width of 4 cubits, which translates to roughly 16โ19 feet (5โ5.8 meters) in height, depending on the cubit used. The clay tablets containing the Epic of Gilgamesh were excavated in the 1850s. The Second Temple Jewish Book of Giants mentions Gilgamesh as one of the giants (Nephilim). These are two different ancient sources that associate Gilgamesh with giants. During the Podesta email leak, a chain of emails involving Hillary Clinton mentioned the alleged discovery of the giant grave of Gilgamesh in Iraq. Iraq was invaded shortly afterward... Here's a simulation I made comparing Gilgamesh to one of the tallest NBA players.show more

I made over 2.5 million dollars this past week... betting sports. Yes, it sounds easy. Yes, it sounds simple. But the truth is, this is the result of years of obsession, discipline, and grinding at my craft. I spent four straight years playing poker 18 hours a day. That was my entire life. Wake up, play poker, think about poker, sleep, repeat. That level of focus is how I became one of the top players in the world and made over 10 million dollars playing poker. Poker built my foundation. Discipline, risk management, emotional control, and the ability to perform under real pressure. But the reality is, there are no billionaires in poker. There are billionaires in sports betting. So I went all in on sports betting and walked away from poker completely. I took everything I learned and built this the right way. I hired the best analysts and handicappers in the world, people I met through poker, and brought them together under one operation. Because of the platform Iโve built, these guys make more money working with me than they ever could on their own. That is how Iโm able to operate at an extraordinary level and consistently win at a very high rate. Winning 2.5 million dollars in a week is incredible, and Iโm grateful, but Iโm not satisfied. Iโm constantly sharpening my edge and building something bigger. My vision is to turn this into a nine figure a year business. I truly believe Iโm on the path to becoming a billionaire one day. I think back to being a kid, dreaming of being a professional gambler, having a gambling themed bar mitzvah, and looking up to my father, one of the best poker players in the world. This path has been inside me for a long time. Today, my entire life revolves around becoming the best sports bettor possible. I wake up thinking about it, go to sleep thinking about it, and live it every single day. Grateful for the journey. Letโs keep going.show more

Open source AI is actually moving at an unhinged... pace right now. I literally hadn't even finished typing up my last Gemma 4 12b benchmark notes before Google went ahead and dropped the official Quantization Aware Training (QAT) checkpoints on Hugging Face. If you missed the news, QAT basically bakes the compression directly into the training process. Instead of standard post training quantization degrading the model's reasoning capabilities, QAT trains the model with compression in mind. Unsloth is reporting near original performance at 4-bit with ~72% lower memory footprint. Details in the comments. Naturally, had to instantly pull the new GGUFs to see what a single RTX 4090 card (24 GB VRAM, Cuda 12.8, ubuntu 22) could do. i fired up llama.cpp engine again Look at these numbers: 1. The gospel says 8-12 reps. I do 5, and... I have been doing 5 since before it was allowed. The gospel says 20 sets a muscle. I do 6 and I am in the car park before the man next to me has finished his activation drills. The gospel says 90 seconds rest. I sit down for 4 minutes like a Victorian gentleman while he completes an entire circuit and a personality change. The gospel says feel the burn. I feel almost nothing, and people tell me this like they are breaking bad news. The gospel says chase the pump. I chase the number in the book, which is still there on Thursday when the pump has gone home. The gospel says carbs fuel the lift. I have not eaten one since 2020 and the bar has not once refused to move. The gospel says never train fasted. I train on black coffee and yesterday's ribeye, which is apparently a form of self-harm. The gospel says eat 500 over maintenance and weigh it. I eat meat until I stop being hungry, which is the most complicated part of my nutrition. The gospel says 6 days a week. I train 4 and spend the other 3 doing things that are not the gym. The gospel says deload every fourth week. I have never built a fatigue worth taking a week off from, which they tell me means I am not working hard enough, and which I keep failing to be upset about. The gospel says my genetics are the ceiling. The book has gone up every year for 6 years, so either the ceiling moved or somebody sold me a ceiling. Every article of that faith costs money. The volume needs the pre-workout, the fatigue needs the deload, the burn needs the app to count it, and the ceiling needs a coach to explain why you have not passed it. Excommunicated years ago. The muscle has yet to file a complaint.show more

In 2020 I entered a summer shredding contest. This... was my gameplan to go from 18% body fat to 10% or less body fat in 12 weeks: (Applicable no matter where youโre starting, bookmark this) 1. Eat bodyweight (in lbs) x 10-12 calories daily (more on higher activity days, less on lower) 2. Eat 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight (if youโre starting more overweight you can aim for goal bodyweight) 3. 10K+ steps daily and progressively more cardio sessions (0 - month 1, 2-3x45 minutes/wk month 2, 5-6x45 minutes month 3) 4. Lifted 5x/week on a push, pull, legs, rest, upper, lower, rest split with a focus on: - every set ending near failure - fighting to get stronger week by week - managing volume (less volume towards end of the cut for recovery) 5. Limited alcohol to only a few drinks/month 6. Slept 7 hours/night minimum 7. 5g creatine daily 8. Drank around a .75-1 gallon of water + electrolytes daily 9. Refeed days (bodyweight x 15 calorie goal), 1x/wk in month 3 The framework is really this simple to drop body fat. Adjustments will need to be made based on biofeedback & weight data. If you arenโt losing at a rate of 0.5-1% bodyweight per week, you must: - increase your average weekly movement (steps or cardio minutes) - and/or decrease your average weekly calorie intake. Hope this helps guide you to a leaner version of yourself. ๐คshow more

Bringing you all on the inside for a first-hand,... behind-the-scenes look at some of the latest and greatest recovery options the Broncos are providing their players in their new $175 million state-of-the-art facility. This allows their players to recover as hard as they train. Too many athletes miss the boat on this and only recover when they have an injury or do minimal amount. As hard as you train, recovery harder!!! Youโve got to outwork the world in all areas and that includes how you take care of your body. Check these outโฆ Cryo-room โ Not a cryochamber but a whole room. Dry float tank โ Iโve only been in ones where you are immersed in water, have never seen a โdryโ version until today. The Ammortal Chamber โ a high-end, futuristic biohacking pod that combines five core non-invasive wellness technologies into a single 25-minute, zero-gravity session designed to accelerate muscle recovery, reduce stress, and promote deep nervous system reset. This absolutely calmed down my nervous system so my body could heal itself. Hyperbaric chamber โ I do this couple times a week back home to try to repair damage done to my brain and overall recovery. Makes a huge difference in how I bounce back each week. Other amenities: Did 25 minute sauna at 185 degrees, their water area of their hot and cold plunge pools is fantastic! They also have sleep pods for quick recovery naps and a ton more. My entire Polymarket strategy right now is Ctrl+C on... a wallet making $20K a month and Ctrl+V on my account. Yeah. I know how that sounds. 6 months ago I would have closed the chat on anyone who said this. Probably blocked them too. But here is where I am: last month, +$2,700. Trading decisions I made: 0. For context, my best month of manual trading was $580. And that took 3-4 hours a day. Let me back up. For 6 months I was a "real trader." Charts on 2 monitors. 3 Discord alpha groups. NOAA weather data at 2 AM because someone said temperature markets were free money. Spreadsheets tracking 40 wallets. Every thread read. An opinion on every market. Average month: somewhere between $400 and "I would rather not say." I was very busy. Just not very profitable. Then something clicked. Not an insight about markets. An insight about me. The wallets I was tracking, the ones pulling $15K-$30K a month, had data pipelines, sub-second execution, and models I could not replicate in a year of trying. I was not competing with other retail traders. I was competing with infrastructure. You do not outrun a car. You get in the car. So I stopped. Stopped picking markets. Stopped reading forecasts. Stopped setting 3 AM alarms for data drops. Found 3 wallets with 90+ day track records and consistent returns. Not the flashy ones posting $3M screenshots on Twitter. The boring ones pulling 4-6% weekly on liquid markets. Connected automatic copying. 1 evening. Maybe 15 minutes of actual setup. That was 5 weeks ago. 1st week I checked the dashboard every 2 hours. Old habits. 2nd week, once a day. Now I check maybe every 5 or 6 days. Trades execute on their own. I do not choose markets. I do not analyze odds. I do not decide position sizes. 5 weeks in: +$3,100 total. Same capital that would have made me $300-400 doing it manually. Same money. Different operator. Or rather, no operator. I did not make a single trading decision. That was the whole point. The logic is short: top wallets have speed, data, and execution you and I will never have. You can not beat them. But you can stand next to them and do exactly what they do, at roughly the same time, in the same markets. The tool I use: PMX 1 evening. 15 minutes. 0 decisions since: 6 months of charts taught me less than 1 evening of copying. Turns out the smartest move in trading is not trading at all.show more

Today, I want to share two big lessons I... learnt in the past one month. So hereโs what happened. It all started with an unexpected physical setback of all places in Port Blair (now Sri Vijayapuram) on 20th December. That morning, I suddenly suffered what is called in medical terms, bilateral foot drop, meaning I lost all power in my feet. I couldnโt walk without support (the 1st video shows the limpness in feet); Somehow, I got back to Delhi on a wheelchair. As I consulted Dr Satnam Chhabra, renowned neurosurgeon (he had treated me earlier) at the Gangaram Hospital. He was worried and immediately recommended surgery since my L-4 disc was compressing the nerve. As I was mentally preparing to undergo the surgery in the last week of 2024, many dark and negative thoughts were playing in the mind (will I have to spend rest of my life on wheelchair? Will prolonged sitting and writing be a problem?) My immediate family was equally worried since we were told, it normally takes 6-7 months of intense physiotherapy and exercise to regain the strength and โflexโ in my feet even after the surgery. As I waited for the scheduled day of surgery and as the year was ebbing away, pessimism was creeping in. Then a friend suggested I consult Dr Sandeep Vaishya, another highly-skilled neurosurgeon and executive director of Fortis Hospitals. Thanks to this friend, Dr Sandeep said he will carry out a โkey-holeโ surgery, which is quicker than an open surgery and takes lesser time to heal. So, on 30th December, I was wheeled into the operation theatre. Five hours later, I was back in the room and by evening, the hospital physiotherapist made me walk, albeit with support (2nd video). As the New Year dawned, I was back home! Now came the part entirely dependent on my own mental and physical strength, support and care by my wife and children. Thus began the recovery process. After a weeklong break, our websites and YT channels were back to work in the meantime. Since I know nothing else but work, it was hard to stay away from office. So, I took courage in both hands and went to office on 3rd January so as to assess my own ability to recover quickly (3rd video). Two weeks since then, life is almost back to normal (4th video, welcoming Nana Patekar to office on 17th January). I like to consider myself as a practical, take-life-as-it-comes-kind of a guy. And so far life has indeed been a busy, fulfilling journey with no time to philosophise much but the last 30 days have taught me to think deeper. Why am I sharing these details? Because of two reasons: A reinforcement of my own long-held belief that life can be extremely uncertain and therefore one must live in the moment, enjoy every opportunity that comes oneโs way to achieve whatever your aim in life is and not plan too much for the future. And two, family, friends and their support is the greatest wealth one can acquire. Celebrate them and this incredible gift called life. Rest is all peripheral.show more

If you have lagging Arms and bringing them up... to par is your TOP PRIORITYโฆ Iโd recommend doing something like this each week: Upper A โข 2-3 sets of โThe GREATEST Triceps exercise known to manโ โข 2-3 sets of Supinated Grip Curls w/ Upper Arm Support โข 2-3 sets of Machine or Cable Overhead Extensions โข 2-3 sets of Hammer Grip Curls w/ Upper Arm Support Upper B (Performed 3-4 days after Upper A) โข 2-3 sets of Dip Machine โข 2-3 sets of Machine or Cable Preacher Curls โข 2-3 sets of โThe GREATEST Triceps exercise known to manโ OR Machine or Cable Overhead Extensions โข 2-3 sets of Hammer Grip Curls w/ Upper Arm Support This will result in you doing somewhere between 8-12 sets of direct Bicep and Tricep work per week Low likelihood you need any more volume than that to improve your Arms mightily if following the notes below: 1) The ideal rep range to be using when performing the exercises mentioned is the 5ish to 10ish rep range โ Choose a weight you can do for 5, 6, 7 reps @ 0-2 RIRโฆonce you can do that weight for 8, 9, 10ish reps, increase the load by 5ish pounds 2) You should perform all reps of all the listed exercises with a controlled (but not overly slow) eccentric and an explosive (but still controlled) concentric 3) You should perform these exercises very early in your workout to ensure they are as efficient/effective as possible โ If you perform them later on, you will not get as robust a growth stimulus from the sets because of the outstanding fatigue that will be present from the earlier sets/exercises in your workout Additional notes: - You may sub any of these exercises for comparable exercises due to preferences and/or equipment availability โ Ex: Dip Machine subbed for Weighted Dips - I probably forgot something that I shouldโve mentionedโฆif I think of it Iโll drop it in the post belowshow more

My experience as a Defenders fan going to STL... America's Center & The Dome for an away game. This was a solo trip, did not bring my family on this one. The St. Louis Battlehawks home games truly are one of the special environments for United Football League. Iโve been to 4 AWAY games for DC Defenders over the last 12 months and the environment for this one was fired up! They definitely should NOT move STL to a soccer stadium if they keep showing out like they did yesterday. I got to my hotel at 1AM on game day after a late flight from the west coast. I woke up 6 hours later, walked towards the stadium and randomly caught the STL player walk-ins. Then, I walked over to the tailgate and met up with The Bottom Line and enjoyed some mimosas and breakfast burritos with Ed Ploeger and his gang. Thanks for the hospitality! I was able to get him a signed Sam Kidd jersey as a thanks for all he does for the UFL community! After the tailgate, got in for gate drop at 0930, and went straight down to the field. I was able to say hi to a few players and talk with Steven McCrane as his son was nailing 50+ yard field goals with ease. Chatted up and made peace with a few STL fans around me. Once the game started, they had the place LOUD, and my watch kept alerting me that my hearing was getting damaged ๐คฃ . Being there for the first ever 4 point field goal by Matt McCrane made the travel worth it. After the home fans had a few rounds of beers, the heckling began (which was expected), but I had to pop about 6 beach balls/๐ as I became the ๐ฏ for drunk fans as the only DC fan in the section. I tossed the balls back a few times until I immediately got hit with about 3 balls in a row. So that part was a bit of a let down, as I was just trying to enjoy a game. The halftime show was great. Overall, the game experience itself left something to be desired with the penalties and getting harassed by fans who were clearly recording trying to get rage bait engagement on ๐ฅ. Probably wonโt be going back to a STL game again, but Iโm glad got to check it out! Pregame/Tailgate: 5/5 Halftime: 5/5 Game experience: 3/5 Getting to/from stadium: 5/5show more

Hi everyone, this week I finally received the new... ANyONe Relay! ANyONe Protocol is an interesting DePIN focused on building a more decentralized internet and making our privacy more secure ๐ฏ I'm still waiting to release a video because the new Dashboard isn't active yet but for those interested the most important points that I want to highlight are these: 1) The #Miner is Plug&Play so easy to install, just follow the initial steps and you're fine, once installed you don't have to do anything else. 2) There is no limit for IP but if for example you put 2 Relays in the same #IP it isn't certain that you will have double rewards, because they basically do the same job, to get more rewards it's better to use different IPs. 3) To make the Relay operational it's necessary to open port 9001 in your Modem. Without this operation the #mining will basically not start, so make sure you have a modem or connection that can open the ports. If you have the classic public IP you should definitely be able to do it 4) Currently the rewards arrive automatically every week, usually Friday, and I received 8 $ANYONE as first earnings ๐ Since the new #Dashboard isn't yet operational the #rewards aren't yet clear (which is why I am still waiting to release the video) and personally I expect there will be more ๐ฅ The only negative note that I have found so far in the project is that: ANYONE #token is only on Ethereum So unfortunately the fees for the swap or even future claims and sendings will not be low, I hope that the team in the future will also consider Arbitrum or Base for the rewards to Nodes ๐ $ANYONE: Docs to learn more: If you are interested in the project you can order the Anyone on @ampchampment and you can receive it in a few weeks ๐ They ship Worldwide, Paypal and Crypto are available, and you can use the coupon ILCAPOFOX for a 5% discount! Shop: For Europe I also recommend FreshMiners, they also ship quickly and you can use the coupon ILCAPOFOX3 for a 10โฌ discount! Shop: #DePIN #Anyone #Relay #Node #Privacy #Internetshow more
