During a meeting with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip... Erdoğan in Istanbul, we discussed bilateral relations between our countries, as well as the situation in Europe and the Middle East. It is important that joint and coordinated actions strengthen the protection of life and help deliver greater security to people in every part of the world. We agreed on new steps in security cooperation. This primarily concerns areas where we can support Türkiye – expertise, technology, and experience. There is firm political readiness to work together, and our teams will finalize the details in the coming days. We discussed practical steps to implement joint projects in developing gas infrastructure, as well as opportunities for joint development of gas fields. I am grateful to the President and the people of Türkiye for their consistent support for our independence and territorial integrity. World modeling and imitation learning have largely been considered... two disparate worlds. In our recent work, Unified World Models, just accepted to #RSS2025, Chuning Zhu provides a dead-simple unifying solution: just train a joint diffusion model over actions and future states, but with *decoupled* diffusion time steps across these modalities. Manipulating these decoupled time steps then allows for marginalization or conditioning on actions or states; a single model can serve as a policy, forward dynamics model, video prediction model, or inverse dynamics model by simply setting diffusion timesteps carefully. The resulting model can leverage video datasets along with robot training data much more effectively, and shows improved robustness, generalization, and flexibility. This is exciting because it is frustratingly simple, scalable, and shows strong improvement on real-world robotics problems. Please refer to Chuning Zhu 's excellent thread for more details! The visit to Denmark begins with an important step... for our defense. An agreement has been reached on Ukrainian-American cooperation in drone production, including interceptor drones — a crystal clear priority. We have signed an agreement with the robust American company Swift Beat, and it foresees hundreds of thousands of drones this year alone, with the potential to significantly scale up production in the coming year. Interceptors to destroy enemy drones and missiles, quadcopters for reconnaissance and fire adjustment, and long-range strike drones — all of these will be produced in much greater numbers to help us achieve our defense goals and protect the lives of Ukrainians. This afternoon I spent some time over at Parkesdale... Farms in Dover to discuss the impacts of the recent cold snap on our farming community. Food security is national security. As a state, we have a duty look out for those who do the work to put food on the table and assist them in hardening their crops for when disaster strikes. 🚀Thrilled to share what we’ve been building at TRI... over the past several months: our first Large Behavior Models (LBMs) are here! I’m proud to have been a core contributor to the multi-task policy learning and post-training efforts. At TRI, we’ve been researching how LBMs can help robots learn faster, better, and more efficiently. We are extremely proud of this achievement that we... have accomplished together. We truly risked our lives to reach this place, as it is located very close to military deployment areas, and the road was extremely dangerous at every moment. We have now started our new project to provide clean drinking water, and this truck is heading to one of the most dangerous and heavily affected areas. The work is exhausting and extremely tiring, but the need for clean water cannot wait. Displaced families are facing a severe shortage of safe drinking water, and more people are relying on this support every day. Today, we are launching water truck number 11 as part of this project, continuing despite all challenges and risks. On Saturday evening a CAT Deputy who also happens... be a Motor Deputy stopped this moped with no plates driving through the snow. The driver works in West Omaha and lives in near Carter Lake. Deputies warned him of the dangers driving his moped on snow packed roads and he agreed but added the moped is his only mode of transportation to work. The driver was given a warning for no proof of ownership and sent on his way home. We all want to make it to work and provide for our families, and it’s hard not to feel for someone who has no other way to get there. While it's not illegal, a two wheeled vehicle on snow-packed roads is very dangerous.show more
