Mich #0 grabs #75 by the face mask and pulls him down. To make matters worse, Mich #6 then shoves #75 down. What should have happened here, in addition to an ejection, Mich #0 should have been penalized for the face mask and Mich #6 should have been penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct for the late shove down. Each would be enforced separately half the distance to the goal.show more

Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on... FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.show more

The further footage only makes this look worse. It... shows the victim of the attack who had already been arrested being escorted to the police car, with a female officer calling him a “dick”, before he's put into the police vehicle the wrong way. From start to finish, the whole incident appears to have been handled poorly. In my view, the police should stop doubling down, acknowledge that serious questions have been raised, apologise if mistakes were made, and carry out a full, transparent investigation into what went wrong. Public confidence isn't restored by telling people not to share the footage. It's restored by showing accountability when policing appears to fall below the standard the public expects.show more

Situations❗️Runners at 1st and 2nd, hitter shows bunt and... runner at 2nd steals 3rd. I am sure this was just a miscue but it’s a great lesson to show for this type of situation. If a hitter shows bunt and 3rd baseman breaks in, SS should be getting the bag. I always hated this scenario as a SS because you can’t shade too far up the middle incase a runner steals 3rd like this scenario but you also can’t be shaded too far towards 3rd incase a ball is hit on the ground to the right and you have to cover 2nd. If a 3rd baseman breaks in for the bunt but tries to get back to cover the bag on the steal, 9 times out of 10 they will be late getting there. Now, 3rd baseman can decide to stay back and cover the bag which is totally fine. It would just need to be communicated to the SS and catcher/pitcher before the pitch because SS can shade a little more up the middle and pitcher/catcher/1st would have to cover the bunt if it’s laid down. Every coach will have their preference depending on the game situation at hand.show more
