The main purpose of making this post is to tell you NEVER TOUCH AN ANIMAL OR PLANT YOU DON'T KNOW, most especially at the sea. If it now has bright colour, avoid it until you're sure it's safe to touch. The organism is called velella and it is mildly venomous. The venom doesn't really have effect on humans but some people might be affected by it. When it is touched, using that same hand to touch the the face might cause the face to itch or burn. Officially, it is not found in Nigeria, but I won't rule out its sighting totally. They're usually found in America's, Europe, Asia and Australia. In Africa, they've been found in Tanzania, Mauritius, and South Africa too. Therefore , they might get drifted to coastal areas in Nigeria too. Thank you.show more

For over 2 decades Black Americans have been attacking,... harassing & mocking Dominicans for no embracing a “Black African” identity. Blacks🇺🇸 wanted Dominicans a Mixed Latin society to mostly embrace their smaller average 35% Afro DNA instead of their majority 58% European/Spanish ancestry and no to even mention their average 7% Taino-Native ancestry. Dominicans had 2 simple choices: 1. Embrace a Black identity and look like Haiti(Vodou Shithole) next door. Or 2. Embrace their mostly Spanish/Euro based culture and somehow resemble Spain(Catholic) or the USA. The choice was very easy. Hispanic Dominicans, as a diverse people who are not racially conscious, instead embraced a national-cultural identity rooted in their Spanish/Euro heritage.
