Okay, motion designers are 100% cooked. Saw on x... that Opus 5.5 could do advanced animations and I was skeptical at first. So I gave it a one sentence prompt, and it one shot this in 15 minutes. Will add the prompt below, but this is genuinely mind blowing. This level of work would have costed $8,000 - $10,000 with a motion design team and 3-4 week turnaround with multiple revisions. Claude did it in one go with this prompt: "make a dynamic 15-second motion graphics video that shows what an incredible motion designer you are, like it's your showreel for a résumé. go all out." The only thing remaining for humans is creativity and critical thinking.show more

GPT-5.6 Sol is unbelievably good at creating and editing... videos. It can do motion design, product demos, and animations like this one I made by simply giving it a screen recording. GPT 5.6 has the best design taste and significantly outperforms Fable, which relies heavily on repetitive design patterns. To help you experiment with video editing on it, we just launched a collection of 100 ready-to-use skills that show what’s possible and help you get started with video editing using GPT-5.6. These skills can create anything from motion graphics launch videos for your product to a 3B1B-style science explainer video. You can also use them to edit existing videos: add captions, generate motion graphics, create voiceovers, redesign visual styles, translate into new languages, and much more. If you want access to the full library, comment “VIDEO SKILLS” and I’ll share it with you. (You'll have to follow me so I can DM you.)show more

Opus 5.5 just filed a pull request that changes... the streaming behavior in T3 code. It's so cool that I can send off a prompt with a vague idea of what I want, and the result is a ready-to-merge pull request with a video demo of the changes directly in the PR. The PRs I make with AI are significantly better than the ones I used to make by hand. The future is awesome.show more

Testing Opus 5.5 on max effort. You're a world-class... motion designer, and this is your 15-second résumé reel. Make it dynamic and confident: open with a striking hook in the first second, build through a sequence of distinct techniques (typography, shape play, camera moves, colour shifts), and land on a clean, memorable final frame. Pacing should feel like it's cut to music. Go crazy.show more
