in a similar vein to Kieran Klaassen & Every... 📧 's "compound engineering", I've used a prompt every day for the past few months called "self-improving Cline" (linked below). at the end of the task, it evaluates any rule I had turned on and proposes updates based on any friction points during the task. now, all my clinerules are extremely refined and improving every time I use them.show more

Night Invitation👹 Nano Banana 2 x Seedance 2.0 on... Yapper A mysterious vampire emerges from the shadows of a foggy alley, revealing blood-stained fangs and inviting the viewer into the darkness before the camera fades into the abyss of her sinister smile. Prompt: Dark gothic alley at night, wet brick wall and rain-soaked pavement reflecting a dim street lamp. Heavy fog drifts slowly through the alley. A pale elegant vampire woman in a long black coat and dark red dress leans against the wall, motionless and mysterious. Cinematic horror lighting, dramatic shadows, shallow depth of field, ultra-realistic, 35mm film look, film grain, volumetric fog. The camera begins at her black leather boots and performs a slow cinematic vertical dolly shot upward, moving smoothly from her feet → legs → waist → shoulders → lips → eyes. Suspense builds as the camera rises. When the camera reaches her face, she slowly tilts her head and gives a cold villain smile. Her long sharp vampire fangs slide into view, fresh blood dripping slowly from the tips. Her eyes glow subtly in the darkness. She whispers softly: “Welcome to the night…” Immediately after, she lets out a quiet sinister villain laugh as the fog thickens and the lighting darkens. The scene begins to slowly fade to black, while the camera continues pushing forward into an extreme close-up, zooming closer and closer until the camera enters her mouth, ending in darkness. Style keywords: cinematic horror, gothic vampire, slow camera movement, dramatic lighting, suspenseful, photorealistic, moody atmosphere, shallow depth of field, film grain, volumetric fog.show more

I tested Kimi K3 vs Claude Opus 4.8 Same... prompt, an armory bay with lighting, props, and detail. Top is Kimi K3, bottom is Opus 4.8. It's not even close. Kimi K3 built a full scene with textures, proper lighting, ammo crates, weapon racks, working detail everywhere. Opus 4.8 gave me a near empty room with a couple of floating tables. No doubt it beats Opus 4.8. Kimi K3 is Fable 5 level, and it's clearly better than GPT-5.6 Sol at 3D and games. An open weight model just matched the best closed models on the market. Let that sink in.show more

A quick test of using 3d drawing with 6DOF... controllers as an "instructor" for a generative AI process. There's so many powerful and fun new ways to create just around the corner.. Here I'm using Dreams, Krea and 3daistudio. The 3d model at the end of the video was generated from the Dreams+Krea output in just around 15 seconds. Only the model on the left is a "true" 3d model. #ai #madeindreamsshow more

A new generation of Man-portable Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (MP-AUVs)... have been indigenously designed and developed by the NSTL in collaboration with other labs NPOL, RCI, HEMRL, and DYSL-AT for mine countermeasure missions. The system comprises multiple AUVs equipped with Side Scan Sonar and under water Cameras as primary payloads for real-time detection & classification of Mine-Like Objects. The onboard deep learning based target recognition algorithms enable autonomous classification of MLOs which significantly reduces the mission time. A robust underwater acoustic communication mechanism has been integrated to facilitate inter-AUV data exchange during mission execution ensuring enhanced situational awareness. The recently concluded field trials have successfully validated salient system parameters and critical mission objectives.show more

Here's gameplay of an unreleased team up between Namor... and Hela. It’s a bit of a confusing team-up, but here’s what’s supposed to happen: When Hela and Namor are on the same team, Namor gains an ability called “Water Column of the Dead.” With his trident, he sprays a stream of water infused with undead energy. In addition, both Hela and Namor receive a passive effect: whenever they score a kill, an undead octopus spawns at the place of death. Descriptions: Undead Octopus-Trigger: When Hela/Namor kills an enemy, an undead octopus will be generated at the place of death. The undead octopus will automatically attack the enemy closest to it, and will disappear automatically after a short period of time. It cannot be attacked during its existence. Water Column of the Dead: Hela uses undead energy to strengthen Namor's power. Namor points his trident at a selected area and sprays a stream of water infused with undead energy within the target area. #MarvelRivalsshow more

I do everything regarding my podcast, from sourcing guests,... scheduling, researching material, recording, editing, audio, visual, artwork, write ups, publishing, website, substack, and social media. But I've always been like that. As a surgeon, I used to never sit in the coffee room between cases. I would clean up and mop the floor (blood and bits of bone), lay out the instruments, collect the patient, write up the op notes, see the post op, position the x-ray machine, the lights and position the patient correctly on the table. This way, I would operate on 8 patients in a day, unlike my colleagues who managed 5 at best. This is the same efficiency and productivity I've brought to my podcasting. After 18 months, I've published 286 episodes, 160 in the last year alone. If you haven't already, please check out my podcast and sign up to my substack so you never miss an episode and get bonus content for free. Thank you 🙏🏻show more

A Carnegie Mellon student launched a Markov Chain model... that reads the structure beneath the price and made $67,000 in three weeks on Polymarket. In his applied mathematics classes he studied Markov Chains - the same model physicists used to simulate neutrons in nuclear reactors. The same model describes how prices move on prediction markets. He wrote a Python script. > Takes 60 days of contract price history. > Builds a transition matrix - a map of how the price actually moves between states. > Runs 10,000 simulations in a tenth of a second. > Calibrates the result against data from 72.1 million real trades. The output is an exact probability and position size. No gut feeling. His first test day brought $3,400. A week later he improved the result and hit $17,000. His balance has now reached $67,000. full guide on how to build the same model - in the article below.show more

A Brazilian entrepreneur has pioneered a smart agricultural model... by growing cactus as livestock feed—an innovation with global potential. Instead of relying solely on traditional hay and grain, this approach uses drought-resistant cactus as a low-water, high-survival crop suitable for dry and semi-arid regions worldwide. Across regions facing water scarcity—such as parts of Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Australia—farmers are increasingly seeking sustainable livestock feed solutions that reduce water usage and production costs. Cactus farming offers a reliable alternative, providing consistent feed even during prolonged droughts when conventional forage crops fail. With rising feed prices across the global agriculture sector, this model presents an opportunity for long-term cost stability, improved climate resilience, and enhanced food security. The growing global focus on sustainable farming practices positions cactus-based livestock feed as a scalable and practical solution for modern agribusiness.show more
