Testing SCAIL-2, an open source model for motion transfer.... I wanted to see how it can handle driving videos with fast, dynamic movement. The part that really impressed me was how the model retained details from the input character's outfit (especially the straps on the shorts). I attached the input character below for you to compare against. The model also has a replacement mode that swaps the character into the driving video's scene, but here I used animation mode, which keeps the reference image's scene instead.show more

The fun part of experimenting with brushes is that... you have to figure out how the ink behaves first. How it spreads. How it flows. Only after that do you start thinking about texture. And honestly both parts are hard in their own way. What I tried today was adding something like a magnetic force into the ink. So while drawing, these unexpected textures start to show up.Most of the strength and density come from layering 2D Perlin noise. It’s actually really fun to play with. A lot of time goes into things no one ever notices. That’s just life :)show more

Well YEAH because it was also the FIRST TIME that he pushed it way beyond his usual destruction and kept trying to fold it over at the breaking point (the antenna) way after it already got destroyed On all his other ""tests"" he always stops when the phone breaks. Not to much here. After it broke he tried to completely fold it and THAT was the point that damaged the battery which resulted in it starting to smoke. Taetae's hidden details, in which he accomplishes things like they're nothing, make my heart beat. It's a difficult thing to do. You can't do this just by learning it. He has a good sense for dancing. The way he dances is very smart. In conclusion, Taetae is at an extremely high level of dance. From the little details that are hard to catch at first glance, to his dance skills that read the music, making it feel like a "professional dance" style and feel, can all be seen in the ad-libs as well. These parts all depend on the individual's sense for dance.
