Save this for the next time your typography feels... weird and you can’t explain why. Nine times out of ten, it’s line-height - the vertical space between lines of text that decides whether type feels confident or clumsy, readable or tiring. Headlines Compress them. ~1.05–1.25 is usually right. Headlines aren’t meant to be read carefully line by line. They’re meant to land as a shape. Tighter leading pulls words into a single visual block and makes the headline feel confident and intentional. One hard rule: ascenders and descenders should never touch. If your t’s and l’s are colliding with g’s and y’s, you’ve gone too far. Body text Do the opposite. Give it air. ~1.4–1.7, depending on the typeface, its x-height, and the line length. Body text is about endurance. Your reader shouldn’t notice the typography at all. If they’re aware of the type, something’s off. The goal is that they just keep going, paragraph after paragraph, without friction. In Framer, you can find the Line-height settings in the Text Panel > Line. And yes, this applies even if you’re using the same font for headlines and body text! Same font, same page, but they have completely different jobs - and different line height. you know what i realized after today’s concert? the... six of them are all genuinely good singers. if only their songs were actually arranged to fit each of their vocal ranges and strengths, people would see it more clearly. for years, having most of the lines centered on one member limited the others’ opportunities to fully build confidence and showcase what they can do. but watching them perform songs that weren’t even originally made for them and still deliver so well? that says a lot. they didn’t just get through it—they made it their own. honestly, as a six-member group now, they feel more balanced and cohesive. you can see each member stepping up, filling in gaps, and growing into their roles with more presence and individuality. their vocals, stage presence, and teamwork all feel more solid. if anything, this just proves that enhypen’s future is secure. they’re evolving, adapting, and finally getting the space to show their full potential... and it’s only going to get better from here. 🤍show more

Started using React Native two days ago and immediately... fell down a tab-bar rabbit hole. I’d seen Instagram and Revolut collapse their tab bars on scroll while keeping every icon visible. I wanted that without giving up real iOS Liquid Glass. Turns out iOS 26’s public API can’t express that state. UITabBarMinimizeBehavior is an enum of when, not what. With onScrollDown, UIKit minimizes the bar to the active tab alone. There’s no parameter controlling what survives. So most implementations rebuild the visible bar as a custom component. Some use genuine glass materials, but the real UITabBar is gone and with it, the native selection capsule: that little blob that moves like a drop of water between tabs. You can reproduce it with separate springs on the leading and trailing edges. I didn’t want a reproduction. I wanted UIKit’s. Then I remembered a Flutter app i built some months back which uses cupertino_native. Flutter runs the app while a platform-view bridge renders a real UIKit UITabBar. Finding expo-glass-tabs clarified the compact geometry I wanted. The two ideas clicked: why not bridge a real UITabBar into React Native? Here’s the trick: a standalone UITabBar has no UITabBarController managing it, so Apple’s minimization rule never applies. That means I can control its frame and items myself. Expo Router still owns navigation and screen lifecycle. React Native detects scroll direction. Swift removes and restores the real item labels, recentres the icons and animates the native bar’s size. All five icons remain visible. The result keeps Apple’s Liquid Glass, water-drop capsule, hit testing and accessibility, while adding a compact state its public API doesn’t provide. There is a shape in mathematics that can hold... a finite amount of paint, yet would require an infinite amount of paint to coat its surface. It is called Gabriel’s Horn. Imagine rotating the curve y=1/x around the x-axis. The result is a long, tapering surface that stretches infinitely, like a tunnel that never ends. Here’s where the paradox appears. The volume of this shape converges—if you add up all its infinitesimal slices, the total stops growing. In other words, you can completely fill it with a finite amount of paint. I always wondered "What if I port my three.js... game to Rust? Will it improve performance?" I finally ported it to both Rust Desktop and Rust WASM (that runs on the browser) Comparing the three.js version with the Rust desktop I had a clear winner: Rust desktop. But now I took the time to port it to the web using Web Assembly (WASM) And my conclusion is... A tie! Both versions averaged 42FPS (60FPS if running one at a time) So if your goal is to ship a web game, it doesn't even matter the tech you use. (Three.js is recommended because the ecossystem is huge though) As long you optmize well (Web workers, reduce triangles, draw calls, etc) you should be good to go. But in the event you want to ship a native game to publish on Steam a system language (Rust, C++, etc) will be better for you. Now I want to port the three.js game to Desktop using Electron and see the results. I'll let you know. Btw, I'm open to new freelance projects. If you have anything for me, my DMs are open!show more

Regardless of what you think of Don Lemon and... the whole ordeal with Elon Musk, I think this line from him should resonate with everyone. "Twitter or X is one of the biggest information platforms in the world. Why cede that platform to extremists? So I wanted to get on there and I wanted to fight it out so that everyone had a voice." Those on the left who stopped using X because they were angry that people on the right were saying things that they don't like, are playing into the hands of the people they disagree with. Instead these people should increase their usage of X in order to combat the narratives they dislike. That's how successful societies function. And just like I would welcome Trump back on X, those on the right should embrace people like Lemon because it's so much better to have a melting pot of flavor rather than a boring pot of white rice. This work makes a humanoid robot do simple parkour... moves by looking with a depth camera and choosing the right move on the fly. The big deal is that it turns lots of small human moves into long, real-time robot behavior, without hand-coding every transition or retraining for each new course. A humanoid robot is usually good at steady walking, but it often fails when it has to do fast moves like jumping up, vaulting, or rolling, and then keep going to the next obstacle. The hard part is that you cannot easily collect training data for every possible obstacle shape, distance, and mistake, so robots end up learning a few moves that only work in a narrow setup. This work starts from short clips of real human parkour moves, like stepping over, vaulting, climbing, and rolling. It uses motion matching, which is basically a smart “pick the next clip that fits best right now” search, to stitch those short clips into a long, smooth plan that looks like a human doing a whole course. Then it trains a controller with reinforcement learning (RL), which means the robot learns by trial and error to copy that plan while staying balanced and not falling. After training separate expert controllers for different moves, it compresses them into 1 controller that uses only onboard depth sensing and a simple “go this fast in this direction” command. In real tests on a Unitree G1 humanoid, it can clear multiple obstacles in a row, adapt when obstacles get moved, and climb a wall up to 1.25m.show more

Before, I saw Sana and Jihyo looking tired and... even massaging their legs. But today, it is heartbreaking and painfully obvious that Sana is not okay at all. This is so painful to watch, and it has seriously gone too far seeing them in such poor condition. I don’t care if people disagree with my tweet. I cannot stay silent anymore. Watching the members suffer one by one like this is breaking my heart, and JYP’s handling of their health is deeply disappointing. I am especially disappointed in JYP. In my opinion, JYP made a huge mistake when Dahyun was sick. They did not even take her to the doctor for an X-ray. Dahyun had to endure the pain for almost a month and still perform. Even in Incheon, she had to walk to the parking lot while limping, without any ankle support or a wheelchair. Before that, Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung were sick and had to miss the tour. We even had to watch Jihyo perform while she was sick, sitting on a chair on stage. That was painful to see. Then Mina had to be absent today because of health issues, and now we can clearly see that Sana is also not in good condition. Watching this happen again and again is exhausting and heartbreaking. How many times do we have to see the members suffer before their health is truly taken seriously? I know concerts and schedules are decided together by the members and the agency. But why does it feel like the girls’ health is always the last thing being considered? Can’t the agency do better and put their health first, just once? The girls are the kind of idols who truly love meeting fans. They will keep showing up even when they are unwell, as long as they can still stand. That is exactly what scares me the most. That is why JYP must take better care of them. Please, I’m begging make the girls’ health the top priority above anything else. This one was made with Seedance 2.0 Fast via... Dreamina. This is pure Omni-Reference. The only character sheet I used was for these girls, Sari and Ploy. The dude with sarung here and the location were 100% prompted. I didn’t use a character sheet or reference for either of them. Even in Fast mode, Seedance 2.0 is bloody good and it still nails the hyper-vernacular vibe that I always aim for in my work. Seedance 2.0 is both exciting and scary for me 😆 It’s exciting because it is undoubtedly the best model currently available on the market. Trust me, you’ve seen the videos I’ve made so far right? The performance of the model It’s simply the best, period. It has helped me tremendously in creating a shit ton of stories about the region where I live, Southeast Asia. It has been the most exciting thing ever. The scary part is whenever a platform or company comes to me saying, “Hey, we have this new video model. Blah blah blah. We’ll let you know more soon.” It scares the shit out of me because the big question is whether it will be better than Seedance 2.0??? 😆😆 If not, I don’t even want to bother using it. I’ve come this far and achieved this level of quality with Seedance 2.0. That’s why I skipped Happy Horse, which I already tested. It’s also why I’m not bothering with Wan or anything else for now. Their current models are still far inferior to what we already get with Seedance 2.0. I don’t want to downgrade the visual quality. This is also why I need to be really honest. There are certain platforms that host their own in-house models and i'm still part of their CPP. However, because those models are still far behind the quality of Seedance 2.0, I haven’t used them that much. Seedance 2.0 has simply become the benchmark for me. The type of output I’m looking for is also extremely specific, so I can immediately feel it when a model cannot deliver what I need. Seedance 2.0 is definitely not cheap, but it gives me so much creative satisfaction and allows me to make whatever I want. I even have a team that low-key makes softcore erotic videos in the style of Vivamax 😆 I think I’ve trimmed down so many things in my AI workflow because my main goal is to focus on the content itself. If Seedance 2.0 Mini is released soon, I’m dead curious to test it. I think I want to create more stories that revolve around drama rather than highly technical cinematic shots. Seedance 2.0 Fast has been incredibly helpful, but I’m definitely curious to check out the Mini version. But the truth is that I’m completely tool-agnostic. I don’t care which company makes the model. I only care about the quality. You might remember when I praised Grok Imagine Video so damn hard because it was genuinely amazing back then. Now, while this option COULD get the ball close, it's by far the harder option in this scenario The recreational golfer will play the low shot because it's "SAFE". By safe, I mean less chance to hit it fat or blade it across the green For the elite golfer, height is always easier. They usually don't have any issue achieving good contact with their short shots around the green, so in this case, Shane is able to take out all the undulations around this green & just land the ball on the green & using some spin to slow the ball down The harder shot to get the ball close here would be a shot that is running on the ground. There's too much undulation & the ball could hit a ton of bumps along the way which will affect distance control Any shot is possible to hit here... The PCB’s in today’s smartphones contain an ever-increasing density... of components and integration. The iPhone uses “Substrate-Like” PCB technology to achieve impressive levels of component density, everything is so closely packed, and no space is wasted. With this PCB technology, a "PCB sandwich" could be made by creating cavities in an FR4 PCB substrate and then stacking another PCB on top to form a lid, the “walls” formed by the cavities can be plated and then used as interconnects.
