All records were shattered this season, with the highest... number of baby turtles making their way to the ocean in recent years. Tamil Nadu’s 2024–2025 season recorded 229,432 hatchlings from 319,895 eggs, the highest ever. Cuddalore and Chennai led the surge, showing significant growth in both nesting and hatching numbers. Compared to 2019–2020, hatchlings increased nearly fourfold, indicating remarkable progress. The consistent rise reflects successful turtle management and improved coastal protection. To realise that these turtle species date back to the time of the dinosaurs,over 200 million years ago is startling. So many incredible facts about these brave babies that will leave you speecless.Hatchlings use a temporary "egg tooth" or carbuncle to break open the shell. Eggs usually hatch in 45-60 days and babies emerge digging through the sand when their head comes out first.They also have a yolk sac on their belly to provide nutrients for them to swim and travel when released back into the sea. Why I Eat Raw Meat I now exclusively eat... entirely uncooked meat. Steak, ground beef, raw fish, raw eggs and raw dairy to; I don’t cook it when I eat it. Why would I do this? Put simply, cooking/heating breaks down the food (just like when fires burn to ash, just on a smaller scale). This degrades nutrition, destroys water soluble vitamins, decreases absorption of nutrients, destroys enzymes and creates carcinogenic chemicals, making food harder to digest, and lower in available nutrition. For elite digestion, only eat raw meat. I can tell you that I have tested both cooked and uncooked meat now, and raw meat wins. Plus, it’s super convenient to have no cooking or cleanup! I need to eat less meat for the same hunger, I digest meals better, have less bloating, less water retention, heal and recover better from the gym and have more energy in general. When I eat, I feel like I can go for a run straight after. That’s how we should feel, not heavy and sluggish. Think about it, you’ve eaten a rare steak - you’re pretty much eating it raw, all it is is just not cooking the outside edges either. Think about the difference you feel between a rare steak versus eating a well done steak. The overcooked one is gross, heavy, tough and bad to eat.
