But that’s not really what matters to me. I don’t care that much about looking perfect. I care about controlling my time. I care about staying grounded. I care about keeping the kind of habits that helped me build wealth in the first place. And honestly, I enjoy doing it. I’ve been cutting my own hair for so many years that I don’t even think about going to the barber anymore. It’s just normal to me now. It saves time, keeps me frugal, and reminds me that wealth is usually built in the small choices nobody claps for. That’s the part people miss. A lot of people see wealth and assume it was luck. But a lot of the time, it’s really the result of small disciplined habits repeated for years. Not wasting $ just bc you can. Not wasting time just bc other people do. Some thoughts while training this morning: 1) I actually... don’t like getting up to train at 6am. But I do what needs to be done, and with a young family I want to spend time with I’d rather take time away from myself and train while they sleep 2) See your training as a meeting with yourself; this is an idea you might have seen thrown about. Two examples of the unruly behavior by juveniles in... Navy Yard over the weekend. - Riding scooters and e-bikes in the roads, crosswalks, and all around. - One person crossed the road on a green light and dumped the scooter in the intersection. A police officer demanded he pick the scooter up. This is partially the problem with these large groups. Some of the behavior is criminal, but a lot of it is just disorderly. I spoke with several locals who are tired of the groups and that on the weekends they avoid going out at night. Several juveniles told me they aren’t doing anything wrong and don’t understand the police presence.show more
