Since entering online circulation in May 2005, the video has been widely used as a popular material for bait-and-switch trolling, while spawning hundreds of remixes, parodies and music video tributes. The music video was created by two animators at Slackcircus Studios, who were inspired by Eric Fensler's G.I. Joe PSA series, by pairing footage of the titular protagonist from the 1980s American cartoon series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe with American alternative rock band 4 Non Blondes' 1992 hit single "What's Up." On May 8th, 2005, the original copy of the video file was uploaded to the Something Awful forums under the title "Fabulous Secret Powers" The same month the video was uploaded, the creators also launched a faux blog allegedly written in 1995 by the renamed He-Man character, Prince Adam. However, he now became very sarcastic and bullish to the staff, with pride that no matter where you report him, nothing will ever be done to him. This is a corporate institution, but the guy has made it look like a casual mjengo organization where he threatens and intimidates staff and even customers. On 25th January 2025, he was harassing a customer who had visited his office for an inquiry together with the security lady who had accompanied the client to show her the office; when the customer service supervisors interjected, he blew out with noise and unruliness, prompting the clients who were in the office to interject. August 2nd, 2025 •the day LP planned to perform... a synchronised long distance duet where; Tian Lei sings “I Can” on the Hi6 episode which was supposed to air on Aug 2nd (filmed on July 6th) and Ziyu also sings “I Can” in Guiyang stage on the same day (would've been his first big music festival. he was announced in Yancheng later) •the song has "star(xing) gazing" in the lyrics; connecting to their Xuelang mountain visit, which is the best spot to watch meteor showers (liuxing yu), on July 30 (it was the season of fireflies and meteor showers in Wuxi) –ZY wore a star themed outfit and initially TL's representative emoji was also a star⭐️ (ZY calls TL "Xiong Da" from Boonie Bears who is also referred to as a star⭐️ in that anime) –ZY also imitated TL's nose bridge moles in his makeup. •they even colour coordinated their outfits to be pink🩷 and blue🩵 –the photoshoot for his “I Can” cover release (9.13.25) was done in Guiyang on 1st August. there ZY wore pink n blue makeup and pink n blue star pins, on a shirt from a brand named "Song For The Mute" —TL's nickname was "Mute" in July 2025 bc of his lack of public appearance due to black waters, and cut the sleeves of the shirt making a ‘cut sleeve’ reference—a euphemism for male homosexuality. making it more than obvious who this song is about through all of this. •the hi6 episode didn't air, but TL gave a surprise piano accompaniment to ZY's “I Can”: it was amateur compared to the professional one that played in rehearsals as reported by fans. there were errors at the beginning, evident from ZY's expression which then shifted to delight when he realised who it was and started matching his pace with the piano. many said: "first time seeing a singer waiting for the accompaniment and intentionally slowing down to match the piano" 😭 •ZY did a shoot with paper windmills, three days before TL posted the windmills that were on his way to Yancheng. •After receiving the crushed ice blue bouquet ZY hugged the flowers and told himself, "Don't cry. this is a tribute post to share the legacy... of an artist whose work has changed my life and inspires me everyday, Jun Seba aka Nujabes. Born February 7, 1974, Nujabes was a music producer & DJ from Tokyo, Japan. He came from a family of music lovers and his father’s admiration for jazz served as an inspiration to Seba at a young age. He pursued his education at a Fine Arts school and the people in his life influenced him to explore the vast wonders of what music really is. In a 2003 interview with Sound & Recording Magazine, Seba said… “I started making tracks because I wanted to hear music that sampled the old soul and jazz I liked.” Nujabes in his early years discovered Hip-Hop and was enamored by the art of DJ-ing and breakdancing. Hip-Hop culture was being brought to life in the USA, but its influence seeped across the world and it started to gain popularity in Japan at the time as well. Seba went on to become a crucial figure in Japan’s underground Hip-Hop scene as a DJ, co-creating a label called ‘Hydeout Productions’. His love for music stemmed beyond just creating it. He had his own record store, which he spoke about in the aforementioned 2003 interview. “I recently started up a record store, Tribe, which I see as an extension of Hydeout Productions. Everything at the store is stuff I went and bought overseas myself, and my hope is for people to come in, listen to old records at their leisure, and hopefully feel inspired by those records to make good tracks themselves. That’s another thing I would like to cherish doing in the future—creating those sorts of encouraging environment” This was a genuine testament to the pure love Nujabes had for music and the community that is built as a result. This passion is what fueled the masterpieces we listen to today and it is the reason for him revolutionizing Hip-Hop production. One of his greatest achievements, in my opinion, was his contribution to the soundtrack of ‘Samurai Champloo’ alongside Fat Jon. This soundtrack set Nujabes on center stage. With a fusion of traditional Japanese musical influences, everything he learned as a student of Hip-Hop, and his early love for Jazz music, Nujabes created a new soundscape which set the tone for this acclaimed show, but also epitomized his brilliance as a musician. At a recent Nujabes tribute performance, longtime collaborator and a friend of Nujabes, Fat Jon, said a few words about him… “Our friendship went beyond music. And so yeah, we had fun making music, but we had more fun just doing regular shit in life… Nujabes as a person, separated from the music, he was a cool person.” You can tell everyone that has worked with or around Nujabes has a deep, unwavering admiration for him as a musician, but also as a person and a friend. Although his contributions to the soundtrack shot Nujabes to fame, his discography of solo music is what cemented his legacy as a pioneer of modern music. From his debut ‘Metaphorical Music’, to his most critically acclaimed work ‘Modal Soul’, Nujabes was able to create entire soundscapes by blending all the different things that made him love music in the first place. It would be a disservice to not mention his friends and frequent collaborators who had invaluable contributions to his work. Nujabes music heavily centered around jazz and soul samples intertwined with his intricate drum patterns and tranquil instrumentation. He fostered an atmosphere of serenity with his melodies than touched the hearts of millions around the world.
