🇺🇸🐕 This is K-9 Flag — the German Shepherd... who became a legend in honoring our fallen heroes. He carried the folded American flag in his mouth at 47 military funerals. Never missed one. Purple Heart around his neck. Pure determination in his eyes. He wasn’t just doing a job. He had decided — completely, permanently — that these warriors deserved to be honored by one of their own. A fellow fighter. A brother in arms with four legs and a heart bigger than most humans. This photo hits different. Respect to every handler, every K-9, and every service member who gave everything. Thank you for your service. Never forgotten.show more

The Cowboys defense looks completely different with the addition... of DT Quinnen Williams. According to Next Gen Stats, Williams had a career-high 8 pressures yesterday. Williams has emphasized that the defense’s turnaround is not just about him. So, what is it? Williams: “I think everybody taking accountability and trying to do things that we can individually do to win football games. You got guys like (DeMarvion Overshown) coming back. He’s playing great football. You got Logan Wilson here. And you got guys in the defensive line room, man, who just been balling and doing the things that they can do to win football games. And I think just we’re hitting our stride and it’s all coming together. “Like I always say, man, one person can’t (turn it) around. I can’t go out there and do everything on my own. Nobody can. It’s a team sport and I just think we’re all putting our heads together and executing as one.”show more

I’m so excited to share that Cribl has closed... an oversubscribed $319M Series E round at a new $3.5B valuation, up 40% from our Series D just two years ago. The round was led by GV in one of their largest ever investments, with participation from GIC, CapitalG , IVP , and CRV . But that’s not all. GV partner and former GitLab CRO Michael McBride (Michael McBride) is joining our board of directors. This is an incredible milestone for us and it goes to show that solving real problems for real users works really well! Since day 1, Cribl was built to help you unlock the value of all your IT and security data. 🇺🇸 🇮🇷 IRAN JUST ATTACKED OUR ALLIES AND THE... FAKE NEWS WON'T TELL YOU THE WHOLE STORY While you were sleeping, Iran launched missiles and drones at Bahrain and Kuwait. Two of our closest partners in the Gulf. In direct retaliation for Trump-authorized U.S. strikes that hit back hard after Iran targeted an oil tanker. This is what strength looks like. And Iran is rattled. Kuwait's air defenses knocked those missiles out of the sky. No casualties. No damage. Because unlike the Biden years, our allies are armed, ready, and backed by a president who means what he says. Bahrain took some hits to a residential building near the airport. That's on Tehran. Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi is crying in Baghdad right now, warning the world that any attempt to open the Strait of Hormuz without Iran's blessing will "increase tension." Translation: they're scared of losing their stranglehold on one of the most critical shipping lanes on the planet. That strait once carried a fifth of the world's oil. Iran has used it as a hostage for decades. Trump struck 10 Iranian targets after they hit a Panama-flagged tanker hauling over two million barrels of crude. That's not aggression. That's accountability. That's a president who draws a red line and actually enforces it. For four years under Biden, Iran laughed at us. They funded proxies, armed terror groups, and pushed every boundary they could find while Democrats handed them cash and called it diplomacy. Now they're intercepting our missiles with their air defense systems instead of shipping drones to kill our sailors. The mullahs wanted to test this president. They got their answer.show more

Most people think the Ramayan and Mahabharat happened once... in history. But according to the Yoga Vasistha, time is a loop, and there is one witness who has seen it all: Kakbhushundi, the Eternal Crow Sage. 🦅 Kakbhushundi wasn’t born a crow by accident. He was the son of a group of female crows who served the Goddesses (Matrikas). Blessed with divine knowledge from birth, he mastered Prana Yoga the science of the vital breath. How he survives the Pralaya (Cosmic Dissolution): When the universe burns at the end of a Kalpa, Kakbhushundi doesn’t die. He enters a state of Akasha Dharana (Space Meditation). As the stars fall and galaxies dissolve, he sits calmly on his wish-fulfilling tree on Mount Meru, watching the “reset button” of the universe get pressed. 🌌 He revealed to Sage Vasistha that he has watched: ✅ The Ramayan play out 11 times. ✅ The Mahabharat happen 16 times. ✅ Each time, the players are the same, but the moves are different. He has seen a version of the world where humans were made of stone, and a version where the Earth was nothing but gold. He is the ultimate reminder that our “reality” is just one episode in an infinite series!show more

#Fresh It is ingrained in your privileged DNA 🧬... to assume that the underprivileged community has the same capacity and opportunity to contemplate our electoral options. We think about living from day to day without getting shot! Our daily concerns revolve around matters such as personal safety, freedom, livelihood, shelter, nourishment, childcare, education, healthcare, and transportation. We contemplate who will offer us the most promising prospects for achieving success in life, focusing on the "how" rather than the candidate's age. Comparing Joe Biden and Donald Trump, we scrutinize their track records, not their birthdays. The comparison is not even close! When faced with only these two options, we prioritize evaluating their past actions over trivial factors like age or debate performances! Joe Biden didn’t have to say a word and it wouldn’t have mattered! The realities of our worlds paint a vastly different picture: while you may freely express opinions like suggesting Joe Biden's retirement, in our community, we perceive Joe Biden as our strongest beacon of hope for survival and the preservation of democracy. We understand that you and all the pundits will be able to survive just fine if Donald Trump is President, so y’all don’t get to speak on our behalf! We got a voice and a vote! So you, MAGA, all the TV Pundits and “experts” can take your opinions and ride this punt into the sun!show more

No doubt, #MeetGreetAndBye made viewers cry at the red... carpet premiere last night. 💔 Our country's ultimate heartthrob #PioloPascual was no longer a revelation. He delivered exactly as expected, with depth, intensity, and quiet power. Papa P isn't Papa P for nothing. And this film is another solid proof to that. It was #JoshuaGarcia who, I observed, displayed a different kind of performance. He’s long been praised since Vince, Kath, and James and Love You to the Stars and Back, even tagged as the next John Lloyd Cruz. But this time, he has fully come into his own. In Meet, Greet, and Bye, Joshua, even in silence, gives you an experience. You will be able to read his emotions and get a sense of his "smell" (You'll know what I mean!). Watch out for his intense acting showdown with Piolo and a quick yet deeply raw and affecting scene with the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano. Deservingly, Joshua is no longer the “next” anyone. He is Joshua Garcia of Philippine cinema and you shouldn’t miss this one. #BelleMariano, #JuanKarlos (#JKLabajo), and #MaricelSoriano made this film even more memorable.🎬 Video taken during his pocket presscon last week ✨show more

TRUST BROKEN. A 37-year-old youth softball coach in Magnolia,... Texas just got arrested. Nathan Scott Velez allegedly spent weeks chatting online with who he thought was a 15-year-old girl. He asked for nudes, talked sex acts, and tried to set up a meet. It was a detective the whole time. He coaches little girls in Montgomery County. He works as a lineman for a tech company. Now he faces a third-degree felony, two to ten years, and up to ten grand in fines. Here is the honest cut: We hand our kids over to coaches, teachers, and mentors every season and pray they are safe. Then we see cases like this and realize too many predators hide right in plain sight in trusted roles. Parents sign them up for softball to build confidence and stay active, not to worry about the man running practice. Law enforcement did their job with this sting. Good. But one arrest does not fix the bigger pattern. We need real vetting, real consequences, and communities that stop looking the other way when something feels off. What does it say about our priorities when kids are not shielded first? Video Credit: Office of Constable Alan Rosen FBshow more

One wrong lean from a power wheelchair to grab... an Amazon package? Boom💥—falling hazard, butt hits frozen ground, potential disaster for my human. Holding a door + awkward maneuvers on ramp + leaning over flailing an arm trying to grab a package = high-risk mission. It's my time to shine. Watch me handle it🐕🦺: Door held open. I strut out like I own the ramp (because I basically do), snatch the small package—sashay back inside past her with "excuse me, hero coming through" energy, execute a flawless turn, and place it gently in her hand. Boom. No butt-on-ground incidents today. Her face goes from tense to that soft, grateful glow, eyes saying "You just saved my dignity, you magnificent beast." I melt. Every. Time. There's going to be ear scritches coming up.❤️🐾 That's us: turning potential wipeouts into "we got this" cuddles. My absolute favorite gig. ALSO...meet the under-ramp squatter: a rogue rabbit who's claimed the spot as his zero-rent winter palace 🐇. Every trip, he's just... there. Lounging like he invented cozy. I give him the barest half-second side-eye—like noticing a stray leaf—and keep rolling. I could evict him with a single bark or chase him off the property, but I have more important business. He's irrelevant. A fuzzy dust collector with delusions of grandeur. I fetch packages and save butts. He... exists. Not my problem, fluff-for-brains. Being my human's safety net in these everyday battles? It's not just service—it's my love language. She's my whole world on wheels, and every gentle hand-off feels like "I've got you, always." Heart full. Tail wagging. 🐾❤️🐕🦺 🎥 attached—share if I made your heart smile today. I am Iranian. Let me tell you what is... truly heartbreaking: The IRGC has slaughtered tens of thousands of innocent Iranians, our brothers, sisters, children, and not a single one of those soccer players opened their mouths. The only one who dared speak up for the people, Sardar Azmoun, got banned from the World Cup on some bullsh*t excuse about a photo with a UAE Sheikh. The rest of the team? They didn’t even flinch. Not one word. Worse, some of them actively stood with the regime and the Supreme Leader, the same butcher who drowned Iran's streets in blood. Team captain Mehdi Taremi has been a vocal, proud supporter of the IRGC and Khamenei, just scroll through his social media, it’s all there. Shoja Khalilzadeh proudly told Iranian media he’d dedicate his goals to the Supreme Leader, not to the people being massacred, but to the man ordering the killings. There’s video of Shoja and Jalal Hosseini chilling in their car, happily singing “Salute Commander,” that disgusting propaganda anthem made for Khamenei. When asked about the oppression back home, Ramin Rezaeian coldly shrugged it off as “an internal matter.” Don’t give me that “they were forced” bullsh*t. Silence under threat? Maybe. But no one forces you to publicly suck up to the regime like these clowns did. No one puts a gun to your head and makes you sing praises to a mass murderer. So no, there’s nothing heartbreaking about their elimination. That team represents anything but the people of Iran. Good riddance. Fly home, bitches.show more

For the past 16 years, WWE has been my... home. It’s where I grew up, found myself, failed, learned, and got to live out things the younger version of me could only dream about. When I first walked into FCW, I just wanted a chance to prove I belonged and to bring something different to professional wrestling. That chance became a life full of moments I’ll carry with me forever — WrestleMania, championships, King of the Ring, arenas around the world, and the gift of connecting with all of you by being myself. The New Day gave me a bond with Kofi Kingston and Ettore “Big E” Ewen that I’ll cherish for life. You believed in us, even when our ideas were wild, and because of that, we got to show people that being unapologetically yourself is a strength. UpUpDownDown became another piece of that same mission: a place for joy, friendship, and humanity. I’m so thankful to everyone, past and present, who helped build it brick by brick. To the locker room, producers, trainers, crew, camera teams, ring crew, everyone behind the scenes, and the props department - thank you. WWE has the most special and hardest working props department that youll ever find. Love you guys and none of this happens without you. And to everyone who has been part of this ride: thank you for believing in me. Thank you for letting me be Xavier Woods. Thank you for giving me the confidence… to walk away as Austin Creed.show more

As college football coaches, due to our new annual... college football schedule, there aren’t consecutive “Days Off” like we used to have in the past, thus the reason I’m taking advantage of these next few days off — starting today. Context: this is the first time the Atuaia family has been together as one unit since 2020 Covid Christmas. We got up this morning (11am😂) to ready ourselves for a FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT that hasn’t happened since 2017 due to 3 LDS missions, 3 job changes, 3 moves to 3 different states, and mostly the multiple excuses I’ve given NOT to be available for this event. After the Photoshoot, our kids wanted to go to Savage Fish in Millcreek for Pokē. My kids know a little about it, but we (Liz and I) have a Christmas story concerning the owners of Savage Fish. 16 years to the day, we were at BYU struggling financially as I was a full time graduate student and Liz a stay-at-home Mom with our 6 young kids to look after. Literally, every penny went to pay for our daily survival. On this day (23rd) these angels on earth came to our 2 bed/1 bath Wymount Terrace apartment to save Christmas for 6 little kids and 2 thankful parents. Today, as I watched each of my kids order their pokē bowl, the same who were blessed by the owners of Savage Fish years ago, I tugged at Liz’s sweater to reminder her of that day. She smiled and simply said “Tender mercies.” Right now, I’m typing this and drinking my kava while listening to all 7 of my kids, led by the oldest child in our family, putting together over a hundred “GIFT PACKAGES” to personally handout to less fortunate folks outside homeless shelters, multiple public parks, and other areas frequented by this demographic in Salt Lake City area. My kids, not prompted by me in anyway, have done this everywhere we’ve lived in the past: Charlottesville Virginia, Pullman Washington, and now Salt Lake City, Utah. We have been the beneficiaries of other people’s kindness all our lives (including recently with a stranger saving my wife’s life—a stranger we have not found yet), paying it forward is simply just the right thing to do. If we have any juice left tonight, we’ll likely do our annual Christmas Song for the online masses. Or, we’ll just mixx as a family and enjoy laughing like crazy. Either way, it’s been an awesome day.show more

Big news! Today we are announcing that Shopify is... acquiring the Threads team. There are a million feelings and thoughts from this journey, but nothing more than gratitude to all of our users and customers for building with us, my colleagues (both current and former) for making all of this possible, our investors, especially Mike Vernal, Elad Gil, Avichal Garg - Electric ϟ Capital, and Jessica Verrilli for their unwavering support and guidance, and all of our friends and family who put up with the late nights, canceled plans, and the general roller coaster that is startup life. To our customers and users who have been asking, here’s how we got here: The past several months have been some of the most interesting and intense of my life. It all started with the rise of Instagram Threads, which presented us with the opportunity to sell our domains. Around the same time, a handful of companies approached us, wondering if we would be open to an acquisition. When this happened in the past, we would politely decline. However, this time, things were different. We weren't that excited about the time it would take to invest in a rebrand, and with mind-warping technological advances now being a commodity, we were excited about joining a place where we could tinker at scale. Each company we chatted with was incredible. However, what ultimately led us to choose Shopify over others was their culture; two distinct things in particular: 1) Craft-obsessed. Their obsession with not just building the right thing, but also building it the right way is inspiring. Sacrifice shows priority, and hearing stories about some of the hard decisions they made to ensure that what they ship is robust, scalable, and trustworthy, even at the cost of short-term metric gains, really proved that their obsession with craft was much more than a feel-good slogan. Their discussions and decisions have me truly believing they're going to be around for 100 years. 2) For entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. Just about every product and engineering leader I met was an ex-founder who grinded for years to turn nothing into something. They all still had that air of resilience, obsession with the details at every part of the stack, and a compelling vision of the future for whatever they were working on. Threads leadership is also made up of ex-founders, so the entrepreneurial focus at Shopify made it clear that it would be the best environment for us to grow and thrive. Very excited for this next chapter with the team and grateful for all of the support we’ve received over the years from those who believed in us. As always, thanks for (th) reading.show more

Have a new baby - or love someone who... does? You’ll want to keep a special eye on this space, because this week I’m going to talk about infancy’s most critical outcome and how to achieve it. That outcome: Secure attachment. The earliest months of life are a busy time developmentally. Over a period of just weeks, newborns establish important feeding habits, begin to smile and recognize faces, begin developing early forms of receptive and spoken language…the list goes on and on. Each of these developments is hugely consequential. But none holds a candle to attachment. What is it - and why is it important? Attachment involves the establishment of deep relational trust between parent and child. It’s more than just feeding. Or talking. Or playing. Securely attached babies develop a deep and abiding trust that you are (and will continue to be) available and responsive as a caregiver. That you can be relied on to meet their needs and ensure their safety. And that trust makes a world of difference for children. Secure attachment is the bedrock of our long-term mental health… a gift you can give your baby with lifelong benefits. How is it formed? Not surprisingly, through consistency. Be warm. Be responsive. And be there. Over. And over. And over. It’s a big job. (But rest assured it doesn’t require perfection. Parenting is hard enough without that pressure.) This week I’ll unpack four different types of attachment, how you can improve the quality of your own attachment, and how the development of secure relationships with a small circle of key caregivers (parents, grandparents, teachers) can set your child on a path that will support them even as adults. This trusting little one was shared to IG by bebegimlemutluyum.show more
