more frontend vibecoding tips (results below): WHY YOUR VIBECODED... FRONTENDS ALL LOOK THE SAME AND SUCK: when asked to make a frontend, the agent/llm will default to the center/average of its training data (in a very loose sense). through the training process, the model essentially converges on some default UI style. it's very capable of doing things that are different from this style, but you have to ask! for instance, ChatGPT tends to reply in the same tone for all users untill you interact with it and instruct it differently ("be sassy", "eli5"). the second reason is that most of us are not good at coming up with designs and describing them precisely (see my tweet on a crash course in common components, which i'll link below). treat frontend generation just like any other eng task! you need to provide a good detailed spec. TIPS: 1. give ur agent screenshots of designs you like (you may not know the right words to describe them but the agent will! a pic = 1000 words) where to find ui inspo? Behance, Dribbble, Mobbin (Mobbin is paid but worth it!) 2. ask ur agent for proposals, this helps "seed" different directions so the final frontend stands out. don't be afraid to go back and forth. 3. ban certain tendencies: no Inter/Roboto, no shadcn (controversial), no gradients, no emojis 4. encourage the agent to be extreme and make bold decisions, not safe ones. i think that the underlying models tend to get taught during RL/fine-tuning to make conservative choices that produce reasonable but boring frontends 5. give ur agent Figma MCP. the best results will come if you mockup your vision in Figma first. 6. Ideally choose an agent with vision capabilities TLDR: Most people are tremendously underusing agents for frontend design. They are much better than you might expect.show more

LangGraph. CrewAI. Agno. Which one to pick? The good... news is that this will not matter soon! Finally, we have a full picture of how the industry is solving this with just three open protocols that work across ALL frameworks. It's not about picking the best framework. Instead, it's about understanding how protocols create interoperability. The Agent Protocol Landscape shows how three complementary protocols are creating a universal language for Agents: > AG-UI (Agent-User Interaction): - The bi-directional connection between agentic backends and frontends. - This is how agents become truly interactive inside your apps, not just as chatbots, but collaborative co-workers. > MCP (Model Context Protocol): - The standard for how agents connect to tools, data, and workflows. > A2A (Agent-to-Agent): - The protocol for multi-agent coordination. - How agents delegate tasks and share intent across systems. These aren't competing standards. They're layers of the same stack and have handshakes with each other. So instead of building point-to-point integrations, you build to protocols. Moreover, you can integrate LangGraph, CrewAI, or Agno into the same frontend, without rewriting your UI logic. These protocols let everything work together. For instance: - Your LangGraph agent pulls data via MCP. - It delegates analysis to a CrewAI agent via A2A. - Results stream to your React app via AG-UI. - Users see real-time collaboration in your interface. This way, you can focus on building agent capabilities instead of integration mechanics. The protocols handle interoperability automatically. CopilotKit unifies this entire stack into one framework so you can build "Cursor for X" style apps without implementing each protocol from scratch. It gives you all three protocols, generative UI support, and production-ready infrastructure in one framework. I have shared this playbook in the replies! It breaks down handshakes, misconceptions, and real examples and shows exactly how to start building.show more

A massive repository with end-to-end examples of AI applications... with React! Together with MCP and A2A, the Agent-User Interaction Protocol (AG-UI) is the third piece that will help you build user-facing AI agents. This GitHub repository will give you access to a bunch of examples showing you how to build the following: • Real-time updates between AI and users • Shared mutable state between agents and users • Tool orchestration • Security boundaries • UI synchronization In every one of these examples, you'll get the following: • Client sends a POST request to the agent endpoint • Then listens to a unified event stream over HTTP • Each event includes a type and a minimal payload • Agents emit events in real-time • The frontend can react immediately to these events • The frontend emits events and context back to the agent Check the link in the next post:show more

This is genuinely insane 🤯 I sent the same... prompt to 2 Claude Opus 5 agents 1 agent used no MCPs 1 agent used 2 MCPS the goal was to clone a very famous game, that has over 4 billion downloads and the results are scary.. The 1st agents game looks pretty basic. but has all the mechanics in place and even has power ups. The 2nd agents game looks polished especially for 1 single prompt. the 2nd agent used higgsfield mcp to create images for all of the assets then sent those images to Meshy AI with a prompt to create them it also generated all the UI elements. the results speak for themselves. you need to start MCP maxxingshow more

I think one of the biggest problems with AI... agents right now is how much control we give up just to use them. Most AI agent platforms want you to work inside their ecosystem, use their preferred models, and trust them with your files and data. That might be convenient, but I don't think it should be the only option. I recently came across PilotDeck, and I found its approach pretty interesting. It's an open-source AI agent workspace developed by Tsinghua University's THUNLP, ModelBest, OpenBMB, and AI9Stars. The idea is simple: instead of being tied to one AI provider, you should have more freedom to decide how your agent works. And there are a few things worth looking at here. First, model independence. Most people focus on which AI model is the smartest, but I think having the freedom to choose your model is equally important. PilotDeck supports different model providers and configurable API endpoints. This means you're not necessarily stuck with one company's models. You can choose a setup based on your budget, performance needs, or the type of task you're working on. For developers who regularly experiment with different AI models, I think that's a pretty useful approach. Second, privacy and control over your workspace. This is probably the part that interests me the most. AI agents are increasingly being used to handle research papers, financial documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other personal or business files. And once you start giving an agent access to that kind of information, where your files are processed becomes an important question. PilotDeck supports local workspaces and offers options for local or private deployment. That gives users more flexibility over how their environment is configured, rather than relying entirely on a closed platform. Of course, privacy still depends on which model provider and API you connect. Using a local workspace doesn't automatically mean your data never leaves your device. But having the option to control the setup is a meaningful difference. Third, it's designed to actually complete work. Another thing I like about the approach is that PilotDeck isn't just trying to be another chatbot. It's built around an agent workflow where you describe a task, the system plans the steps, works with files, uses tools, and produces an output you can still edit. For example, imagine giving an AI agent multiple research documents and asking it to organize the information into an Excel spreadsheet and prepare a PowerPoint presentation. Instead of getting a long text response that you need to manually copy into different applications, the goal is to have the agent handle the workflow and deliver usable files. It also supports task history, result previews, switching models, and changing instructions while a task is running. I think this is where AI agents become more practical for everyday work. And finally, there's the open-source aspect. Personally, I think we're going to see more demand for AI tools that don't force users into one vendor's ecosystem. Models are improving quickly, and the best option today might not be the best option six months from now. Having an agent workspace that can work with different models makes a lot more sense to me than rebuilding your entire workflow every time you want to switch providers. There are still things I'd want to test properly, especially how reliable it is on longer tasks, how easy the setup is for non-technical users, and what the actual privacy trade-offs are with different model configurations. But I like the direction PilotDeck is taking. I don't think the future of AI agents should be about which company controls your entire workflow. It should be about how much control you have over the tools doing the work. And that's why I think open-source, model-independent projects like PilotDeck are worth paying attention to. If you're interested in building AI workflows with more flexibility, check it out. Website: GitHub:show more

Alright, now that we know *what* an agent is,... how does it actually work? When you ask for help on a task, the agent plans a series of steps and executes them directly in the application on your behalf, using the tools it has access to. Say you are booking a local service or trying to organize your inbox (which typically takes multiple steps): the AI model first plans how to achieve the task using its existing knowledge and then interacts with your inbox to execute the task. The agent will continue until it is confident the task has been successfully completed.show more

People get so emotional about DNA issues that they... refuse to think reasonably. If you, on your own volition, wake up one morning, and decide to go have a DNA paternity test of "your" children, then you must also be ready for the results that will come back to you. You must have reasonable cause to go for the test. That reasonable cause means you are not 100% sure if the kids are yours and hence need a confirmation test. The DNA centers are supposed to take you through counseling before you sign on to do the test. Don't go for a test and later come and disturb us online with the results. Nobody asked for it. The situation is different if you need to have the DNA test to help you complete some documentation for traveling etc. That one you didn't request for the test out of your own volition. So I can understand you if you are surprised when the results come. There is an Akan proverb that says "if you go searching for stuffs in the eyes of dead person, you will definitely see a ghost."show more

Replit, Vercel, and OpenAI have built very cool agent-native... applications, but nobody else has passed the demo stage. Building agents that work is complex. Teams aren't shipping agents because we don't have good tooling yet (and most of us don't know how to do this well.) A couple of days ago, the CopilotKit🪁 team announced a collaboration with . You can now use LangGraph with CoAgents to build agent-native applications, and here is everything you need to know about that: CoAgents is fully open-source, and you can use it to do the following: • Human-in-the-loop to steer and correct the agent • Stream intermediate agent state • Real-time state sharing between the agent and the application • Agentic generative UI to build trust that the agent is on the right path Start this GitHub Repository: Thanks to the team for giving me early access and collaborating with me on this post.show more

🚨BREAKING: An ICE agent is caught on video threatening... to murder a U.S. citizen for “raising his voice” to him, in Minnesota. In the video, a person is filming an ICE agent sitting in a car. The ICE agent points at him and says, “I will tell you this, brother… if you raise your voice, I will erase your voice.” The person filming clarifies, “If I raise my voice you will erase my voice?!?” The agent responds, “Exactly, yeah.” The person asks, “Are you serious?!?” And the agent replies, “Yep.” A federal agent openly threatened to murder a U.S. citizen for exercising his First Amendment right, ON CAMERA. This is what happens when agents are not held accountable for executing U.S. citizens, unlawfully detaining people, and violating the Constitution in broad daylight. You get agents who… Feel entitled to threaten illegal violence. Feel entitled to silence citizens for speaking up. Feel entitled to murder people who “disobey” them. And it’s only further proof that ALL of our constitutional rights are being erased right before our eyes.show more

Incase you haven't been paying attention Mr.Zuck just said... it in plain english that they want to have a cut of your revenue when using their Muse Agent. Make it free and available to everyone so you can build your business around it and then they take a cut of that money you make. Now the question is how many of these services planning to do that we absolutely don't know but as for me a prefer paying for a subscription than have them take a cut of the money I make btw the cut doesn't apply only for free users. So No thank you I'm gonna do my best to stick to open source agents (Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, etc) and run them on my machine instead of giving my data and money to any service whatsoever. I recommend watching the full interview some statements are outrageous.show more

this is the worst local ai will ever be.... it only gets better from here. if you are not expanding your mind with these small models you are missing what's happening right now 99 percent tool call success rate. when steered well with the right skills and a framework like hermes agent the node becomes a cognition layer. not a chatbot. not a toy. an extension of how you think. i was cranking this node at 35 to 50 tok/s all day on personal experiments and now after all the work is done qwen 3.5 9B is iterating on its own code. the game it created. fixing its own bugs autonomously. and the part you should probably not miss is that all of this is happening on a RTX 3060. not an H100. not an A100. the card most of you have sitting in a drawer right now. if you just open that drawer and put that intelligence to work every tensor core on that card should be running for you. your work. your experiments. your thinking. you all have it but because nobody told you what this hardware can actually do in 2026 you never tried. the day it unlocks is the day you test your workload, understand the tradeoffs, debug the loops, and then decide if you need to scale the hardware. there is no point buying 3 mac studios when things done well you can squeeze a similar level of intelligence from 9B compared to 70B. but only when you create the right environment for your model through the right harness. and let me tell you i have tried claude code as a local harness. i have tried opencode. i have tried various others. somehow i landed on hermes agent and never left. there is something magical going on at Nous Research. the tool call parsers, the skills system, the way it handles small models natively. nothing else comes close for local inference. own your cognition. your AI. your agent. your prompts. your experiments. why give them away for free. those are who you are and they don't belong on someone else's servers being monitored. just give it a shot with your existing hardware. you run into a problem the community will help you. and if you are migrating from openclaw to hermes i will personally help you make the switch.show more

Universities and High Schools have not moved rapidly enough... to guide students to have skills for the next decade. THEY HAVE FAILED. It is a massive crisis that can be averted by understanding what AI and Robotics will bring about. Solutions are knowing how to use these tools and new industries that will rise. But this situation is also on ALL OF US. No “job” is safe from founder to entry level in most industries. You and I, by what we do, will be “replaced” ultimately. What to do? AI and Robotics are tools, the next decade is owned by those who know how to use them expertly, but this is also temporary. We have to understand that what we do for “work” will change giving ultimately a greater value to those that are: Creative Flexible Always learning Willing to be wrong Love being human Love being alive Know history Covet wisdom Knowing all tech has downsides Building strong family and friends Realize many institutions have failed The first four are required for you to be able to live through this period with your sanity intact. The rest will allow you to thrive. There are no true careers at this point anymore. There are advocation and vocations which will either earn you money or give life meaning. We will learn that we are not “what we do”, just like we knew for 99% of human existence. Let that sink in. — You and I are far, far ahead of knowing this and we can do two things: 1) Laugh at the “clueless” 2) Help people understand with grace Go to Reddit if you are 1, in fact don’t follow me because you will not like this next decade and what I post. You are 2 and thank you. Even if you and I have not solved this issue, we can help people understand what is ahead and with determination and creativity bound together to solve it locally. Or human family has done this millions of times. The evidence is: you are here. The Neo Luddite movement has not even begun and it will potentially rip apart society even more than all the fashionable moment in the recent past has. These Luddites will have a good point with the wrong answers cooked up by dying academics that cling to labels, “virtues” and victim hood. It will be readymade for some governments to enter in as “big daddy” to “help us”. You will not like what they do, but you will only know when it is too late. It will include YOU “volunteering” to “leave” by 60, to “help out” CanadaPod style. “Brian, I’m 24 what do I do?”. I hope to do much more here to help. But I do know this: 1) Learn a trade or vocation because it’s valuable. It may also be free to low cost if you do it right. 2) Learn everything you can about USING AI and TRAINING YOUR AI. Your expertise will be in the top 1% for a decade. But not forever. 3) Understand Bitcoin and how it will rise while other things sink. This is a short list for now. We will know more moving forward. When you see videos like this posted below, know one thing: Many of these folks had no real family of mental and physical support. Maybe no parent or one parent. Maybe only a broke system to prepare them for—nothing. This was not their doing. Now it is not your “job” to help them, it is your survival to help them if that is what you need. See some day after the dust settles these 20 year olds will be 40 year olds and running YOUR world. And at some point you may need them more than you think you do. You will need them, as they need you now. THIS IS WHAT PAST WISDOM KNEW. The elders of the past never found the need to piss on the youth and hope for the best. THE YOUTH ARE OUR BEST, let us all find ways to change it, even if every aspect of “the system” wants us to berate them into the ground.show more

Created this mixed media video using the 'invideo editor',... just by chatting with an editing agent. ~ Asked the agent to break up the original video into individual frames (for this one it was 12 fps) ~ Described the mixed media style we wanted in detail to the agent (you could also give the agent reference images and videos that you feel work best for the video you're creating), ~ And then asked it to generate each frame using an image-gen model and line it back up in the right place as a separate layer. Did all this in ~30 minutes.show more

Those building AI coding agents will eventually hit the... same wall: No matter how smart the model is, the moment you ask it to write production-ready code with the latest libraries, it starts hallucinating. Everyone is building coding agents these days, but most of them run into the same issue: They're coding with outdated documentation. The root cause isn't the model. It's the retrieval layer.
