I had the harshest braking on fsd 14.2 going... ~65mph on the interstate today. I just pulled the video footage & I'm sharing this for transparency. It was 30 degrees this morning & I defrosted the car before driving. It appears the camera still didn't have full visibility yet & was driving up until this point with no red wheel errors / visibility issues. Fsd braked hard when it saw the VDOT person in the shoulder but it overreacted IMO cuz it shouldn't brake that hard if the person isn't moving towards the lane. After seeing that haze on the camera, idk why fsd wasn't throwing any warnings. I did have a red wheel error this afternoon but that footage doesn't show any visibility issues. Be vigilant & always be ready to intervene / disengage. Luckily I was ready and hit the accelerator instantly to avoid a worse situation. I also disengaged afterwards & submitted a voice note.show more

🇷🇺 Russian occupiers report that Ukraine has sharply increased... the use of the medium-range loitering munition “Trust” (as they call it). 🔻 There is no official information or confirmation about this system from Ukrainian sources, and its real designation remains unknown. According to the occupiers, it is mainly used to destroy transport vehicles on logistical routes. 🔻 The Trust is an aircraft-type drone with a very simple design, optimized for mass production. It has a tubular fiberglass body, an internal combustion engine, and carries a 12 kg warhead, which can be either high-explosive fragmentation or thermobaric. This drone appears to be another cost-effective and efficient Ukrainian development focused on deep strikes against Russian logistics. Its simplicity and mass-production potential make it particularly dangerous for Russian supply lines in the rear. Video is generated by grok AIshow more

I didn’t expect AI to make ad creation this... fast. Just tested Pollo AI Marketing Studio to see what it can do. Tried making a sports streaming app ad from a single product image. No editing. No timeline. No production setup. Just picked a video format and it generated a full video ad in seconds. What stood out wasn’t just the output,, it was how simple the whole process is now. What used to take multiple steps and tools can now be done in a single workflow. Curious how others see this, would you use something like this for ads?show more

I fixed the most upvoted React Aria issue of... all time: in the next release, you can enter "invalid" dates like February 31st, and they'll be constrained on blur instead of as you type. This is helpful for transient states, e.g. editing the day before the month. It also enabled entering other temporary values like leading zeros. As you can see in the video, previously if the month was February you couldn't change the day to anything above 28. You'd first have to change the month and then go back to the day. Now the temporary invalid state is allowed. This might seem like such a simple issue, but it was actually pretty complicated to fix. It required entirely changing the way the state is stored. JS Date and Intl.DateTimeFormat cannot store or format dates that don't exist, so we had to reimplement it from scratch. Now we use Intl.DateTimeFormat to get the order of the fields for each locale, but format the value of each segment individually with Intl.NumberFormat. Lots of edge cases to handle as well, like daylight saving time, 12/24 hour time, different calendar and numbering systems, etc. Really glad to finally fix this one though!show more

This video is from back in March while touring... through the Interior. At nearly every stop, I heard from British Columbians about the lack of visible lane markings on major highways. Then I saw it firsthand. Harsh weather is a fact of life. But not having proper lane markings so drivers can actually see where they’re going is absolutely unacceptable. Truckers and commuters shouldn’t be guessing where their lane is while driving through slush and poor visibility. Farnworth needs to get out here and actually see the kinds of road conditions he’s saying are okay for British Columbians to drive on.show more

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure continues to suffer from the heaviest... technical difficulties yet. I went on the attraction for the first time 2 months ago today, and it was one of the happiest moments of my life, yet these issues can’t be ignored. My 26th ride last night was the worst state I’ve ever seen it in, and it’s operating in an even worse state today, with the Audio-Animatronics figures freezing and resetting while Guests were riding. I love this attraction more than any other, yet I’m at the point now where I’m even having a hard time enjoying it when my favorite parts of it aren’t working correctly. This attraction, in my opinion, truly is a joyful celebration when everything is working correctly, yet that’s not reality right now. I’m sad to see it in this state and hope to see the issues addressed immediately so everyone can fully enjoy the beautiful experience that it is.show more

Announcing Centaur 2.0! Centaur is frontier, agentic infrastructure that... you own. Centaur is like Claude Tag, but open source and on steroids. Centaur 2.0 can connect to everything you have access to, and can reason over it next to where you work, either in Slack, Discord, Teams or in your local Codex or Claude Code via an MCP. But context isn't useful if it can be accessed by anyone, so we rebuilt Centaur from the ground up for security. Centaur obviously doesn't have access to secrets because we're leveraging egress proxies. Centaur 2.0 takes that a step further enabling administrators to configure who can access what from where. This means that Centaur can have access to private information that you normally wouldn't feel comfortable giving it access to (e.g. DMs or sensitive channels and docs) but only expose it to authorized principals. It also means you can add Centaur to external channels and leverage it as a virtual colleague that doesn't live only in your Slack, for example, but also your Slack Connect channels! This is extremely powerful as we start moving to a world where agents cross organizational boundaries. Also in case anyone's wondering, yes we rewrote it in Rust! Centaur is now way way more stable at durably executing threads, and its workflow engine is now based on Absurd. We have been operating Centaur since January, officially launched and Open Sourced it in May, and now we're full speed towards making it the #1 open source agentic infrastructure. To succeed at that, I'm thrilled to welcome Matthew Slipper to the Paradigm team who will be leading all our Applied AI work, while continuing to maintain and extend Iron Proxy as the leading secure secret access for agents. Welcome Matt, it's an honor after all these years of knowing you! Read the full blogpost below, and apply to join our team!show more

“Paano ba ‘to from now on?” I wasn’t expecting... they would drop that. I can’t even type it out because I don’t want it to be real, but it is what it is, and I fully respect that. It was a hard decision, for sure, and yes, it is scary if you look at it from here on, but I am all for their growth. It brings me comfort that that decision was made to grow more individually as an artist and as a person. I’m just so proud that they were brave enough to take on that, knowing all the uncertainties that are laced into that decision. As a fan, it is still hard to process all of that for now, but I know that no matter what happens, they will always have each other and nobody can take away what they have and what they have built throughout the years. Nothing will ever change. I’m also grateful that it came straight from them, not from anyone else. It just shows how they love, respect, and care for us, their bubblies. So yeah, donbelle’s last project for now, but please know that there will always be a house you can come home to anytime. ‘Wag masyadong magpa-miss ah, Belle Mariano Donny. Memories are the previous learnings and context. Developers build... up state and context as they do work, which is what makes a more tenured developer more effective than a brand new one with a similar skillset. It would be both inefficient and painful to relearn information from scratch around code structure, architecture, etc each time you needed to do a new task. Memories solve for this. As you do work with Cascade, it can automatically choose to “remember” pieces of information that it learns as Memories, and for any later work, it can choose to pull from this memory bank instead of trying to relearn that information from scratch. You also can manually prompt Cascade to remember parts of conversations as Memories and can manually go in and edit Memories post-fact. Here’s a developer asking Cascade to save some knowledge as a Memory:show more

I had a good meeting with U.S. Senators Lindsey... Graham and Richard Blumenthal. I’m grateful for their participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference, as well as in the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing. It is important that the United States joined this format – for the first time. Our current priority is bolstering air defense. Russia is aiming to launch attacks involving up to a thousand drones at once. That is why it is crucial to scale up protection, particularly by investing in interceptor drones. We also discussed the continued supply of weapons from the United States and joint weapons production. We are ready for different formats, including purchasing a large defense package from the United States, jointly with Europe, to protect lives. We also touched on the bill introduced by Senators Graham and Blumenthal regarding additional restrictive measures against Russia and those supporting its war effort. Without a doubt, this is exactly the kind of leverage that can bring peace closer and make sure diplomacy is not empty. Thank you for the meeting and for working together in the name of peace and security.show more

Karpathy's Agentic Engineering finally has proper tooling! (built by... Google) Karpathy defined agentic engineering as the discipline that separates production agent work from vibe coding. The core skills he listed were spec design, eval loops, and security oversight. The problem has been that practicing this still requires a different tool for every phase: - editor for code - a terminal for scaffolding - a browser for testing - a cloud console for deployment - and a separate framework for evals. Every transition is a context switch. The solution to production-grade Agentic Engineering is now actually implemented in Google’s Agents CLI. It covers the entire workflow in one place for scaffolding, evaluating, and deploying ADK agents. One setup command injects 7 ADK-specific skills into a coding agent's context, which lets it handle scaffolding, evals, deployment, and enterprise registration through natural language. I tested this end-to-end by building a RAG agent from scratch using Claude Code. It scaffolded the full project from the ADK agentic_rag template, generated 20 eval scenarios with LLM-as-judge scoring, and returned a quantitative scorecard. Finally, it also deployed everything to Agent Runtime and registered the agent to Gemini Enterprise, so the entire org can discover and use it. The video below shows this in action, and I worked with the Google Cloud team to put this together. Agents CLI GitHub repo → (don't forget to star it ⭐ ) I wrote up the full build covering all six steps from install to enterprise registration. It includes the eval scorecard, the instruction loophole the eval caught before deployment, and what the deployment process actually looks like end-to-end. Read it below.show more

🚨🇺🇸 GROK GETS READY TO TAKE OVER THE FUTURE... OF CINEMA Grok just leveled up: give it a photo, and it spits out a full-blown video clip, moving, speaking, and somehow getting the vibe exactly right. It doesn’t just move faces; it writes brand new dialogue and makes the characters say it out loud with nothing to betray it's not an original scene. Grok made the original Doctor Who yell about time travel like it was a lost scene from the 1960s. Tony Soprano? He sounded just like himself, cracking a line about pasta in his classic New Jersey tone. Even comedians from the '70s can be brought back with the right accent and style. The real twist? Elon says we’ll soon be able to generate full TV episodes on command. You pick the plot. You cast the stars. You rewrite the ending if you don’t like it. If Hollywood needed another reason to hate Elon, it's certainly going to get it. Source: Telegraphshow more
