Nancy Guthrie To be clear, what is Most interesting... about Porch Guy using the fresh vines he pulled to assist him with removing the Nest Camera shows his Inexperience with: 1-Wearing what appears to be double layered gloves meaning, Porch Guy did not realize how double layered gloves would affect his ability to grip and do the job at hand. He knew they would protect his DNA . He didn't know they would impede his ability to remove that camera because he had never removed a camera with gloved hand before. 2-Removing Nest cameras from mounts. If he had experience, he would have realized how difficult it would be to grip and pull from the bracket. Porch Guy planned and prepared, but this abduction was his first rodeo. Visited Chicago for a few days and had a... great time. Was hoping to write a tweet about how safe it is and how its reputation is undeserved. Then on the walk home on the final night, River North area from Mom’s Place around 2:30am, a black guy rapidly approached my friend and I asking about subway directions. I figured something was up since I assume the subway doesn’t run at that hour. As we walked faster, we saw two other guys at the corner staring at us, probably accomplices. “Be prepared to run,” my friend said. We must have walked faster enough, or maybe we misread the situation, but I won’t go around saying “Chicago is so safe!” Rather, be vigilant and you’ll have a good time. I wanted to wait until the con is pretty... much over. I reported this to Twitch Staff mid block party immediately, but there were souvenir switchblades available for purchase (or literally grab and walk out with) at one of the shops in the Block Party Gaslamp area. It was a whole collection with different names engraved so anybody could reach and grab it at any height. It was towards the back corner of the shop so you had to walk in and really browse to notice it. The shop itself was also at the very back corner so there was barely anybody browsing it. However when my group all saw this at the same time - we all had the same concerned look without even saying a word.
