I found an old screen recording from my iPhone... 11 Pro Max with iOS 17 Decided to compare the animations to my iPhone 17 with iOS 27, and I have so many thoughts 😭 Overall, iOS 17 is INFINITELY smoother than iOS 27, purely due to its animation speed. Opening and closing apps is slow and elegant, accompanied by a beautiful wallpaper zoom. 27 is rough, fast, and lacks fluidity. For some reason, they got rid of the wallpaper zoom when opening/closing apps, making everything feel flat. All of that is paired with the atrocious performance of the iOS screen recorder that started with iOS 18 and still hasn’t been fixed. Notice how there are zero jitters on iOS 17, but both jitters and artifact on 27. This is not a hate post. I just wanted to share my thoughts. And no, this isn’t the problem of a “beta”. What you'll immediately notice is a significantly pre-set forward torso posture. Why? ✅Shifts the loading strategy from quad/toe to glute/heel ✅Back heel stays connected longer ✅Deeper back knee/hip flexion ✅Able to stay in his load longer, building more linear momentum ✅Less motion happening at the trunk - this is a "set it and forget it" approach that was likely targeted at improving his command over velocity. ✅Pelvis rotating level into release, not dumping arm side He also has noticeably larger legs, allowing him to produce more ground force, both on the back side and lead leg block standpoint. For me it’s a ✅ - Distribution: the major frustrations has been caused by the overload of the smart contract for Airdrop claim, where the biggest frustrations came from the fact that many were not able to claim their tokens for long (Including me) and watched the price go from $0,5 to $0,8 & to $0,2. Personally, I think that if Airdrop claim was done prior to the launch, it may have been better. The team introduces MMBench, a benchmark with 200 tasks across many domains and robots, and Newt, a language conditioned world model trained online across all 200 tasks at once. The Hidden Blade is mainly used for stealth take-downs ✅No present day segments. I was informed that it will be replaced with new moments that explore Edward’s past with his wife, along with some “what if” scenarios like Edward siding with the Templars, for example, likely related to Juno’s involvement in the original narrative 📜Thoughts: While the demo I played featured only a portion of the map, Resynced has potential to replace the original as the definitive experience of Edward Kenway’s story I also wasn’t able to experience any of Rifts that replace the modern day, so for me, as a fan of the series’ lore and present day since 2007, the absence of a traditional modern day is the only let down that prevents me from fully replacing the original with it, as present day and sci-do elements are the DNA of the franchise and what makes it stand out It would also be great if mission replay is added later, a feature the OG had by default, like its predecessors That said, everything else very much elevated what was in the original, which made going back to replay it show how dated it feels by comparison I look forward to the final game, and to see future games inherit this formula of a defined protagonist, focused progression and no RPG elements😎show more

🌟 "SHOULD I BUY AN IPHONE FOR TRACKING?" 🌟... tl;dr at bottom I've been using a facecam and Nvidia tracking for a long time and upgrading to a used iphone 13 combined with vbridger, the difference is HUGE. Here is my take on it! Why is Facecam > iPhone? ✅️ More affordable, esp for those using android phones ✅️ More convenient. If you launch Vtubestudio, there's a setting where your webcam automatically turns on, which is great. ✅️ Can track pretty well in the dark IF you already have a good webcam for night tracking. ❌️❌️ Stiff tracking at times ❌️ Not good at tracking specific mouth movement Why iPhone > Facecam? ✅️✅️ You can make the most of your model, since movement along the X and Y axes are a lot more accurate and wider. Also tracks eyes and overall face better. ✅️ More EXPRESSIONS. If your rigging allows for it, things like cheek puff, and tongue are able to be tracked. As far as I know, I cannot do this on facecam. ❌️❌️ WAY more expensive or requires that you have an iPhone already. Needs more set-up (need phone stand right in front of you, need to hook your phone up to a charger at all times, phone could possibly overheat as well if it's old, so you might need a cooler). TL;DR For me, if you have an extra 200 to spare for WAY better tracking, I would 1000% recommend buying a used iPhone on Amazon. iPhone X is the BARE minumum, I would recommend 12/13 so that your phone does not overheat. I do not need to use a cooler for my used iPhone 13. Being able to use my rigging to its fullest makes the model feel so so so different (in a good way). What Modi ji is saying is true. This is... just one of the most incredible things that have happened in the past decade that is helping Indians and India grow much faster - cheap, fast data. In 2014, data prices were nearly 300 rupees per GB at 3G speeds. By 2015, we started having 4G, and the rollout was swift. However, even with better 4G, data prices dropped to Rs. 75 per GB for 4G by 2017 (thanks to Jio, but Indians get daily programmed to hate Ambani on their cheap data). Then, by 2019, due to efficient spectrum allocation and the encouragement of competition by GoI, data rates plummeted to Rs. 20 per GB. By 2023, India had the fastest 5G rollout, and data prices are still hovering around Rs. 10-20 per GB. Despite this, young Indians, conditioned by propaganda, continue to complain. They use the world’s cheapest data and complain about "crony capitalism" and "monopoly in the telecom" industry as if they know what they are talking about. They start complaining the moment this price increases even a bit. They talk about how India is sold to crony capitalists and how everything is going to become so expensive, so bad, so soon. If you try to explain how much better things are in India now compared to the past, they will complain that their 200 Mbps+ 5G speed (133 Mbps median on 4G and 5G together) is "slow" when India ranks globally 14th in 5G speeds with lowest prices (3rd lowest). Complaining and blackpilling have become the Gen Z's vibe. Young Indians believe they are so intelligent and think on their own. However, they are merely slaves to online propaganda and are losing their ability to think critically due to constant negativity.
