Today is my birthday and I know of no better way of celebrating than opening a new school so I just flew from Colombia to Bali to attend the grand opening of The Unity School, our 2nd school with my good friend Lance Breitstein 🇺🇸🌎 (thanks again Lance, you rock but please come here to Bali in person too!!) and it was one of our best openings EVER…wait until you hear how talented these kids are! This new and improved Unity School is double the size of the previous school here so now double the number of kids can be educated and we also got rid of all the harmful asbestos that the children and teachers were sadly previously breathing in every day! 23 year old David Puig is having another great... season, finishing inside the points in every event on the LIV Golf League to be 10th on the Standings and finishing T11 or better in all 3 DP World Tour starts. He’s been a model of consistency but is without a win and he says it’s something he’s looking forward to the challenge of trying to overcome: “I’ve been having a really good season and playing very consistent. I think I’ve been doing well in every part of the game if you look at my strokes gained. Lots of birdies, some eagles, but too many mistakes to be winning events and it’s something I’m really looking forward to, the challenge of minimising the mistakes and trying to get it done this year. “There’s times where I’ve made the right decision, it was just poorly executed and a few unlucky breaks here and there that stopped me from winning. But I’m looking forward to the challenge and really happy with how I’ve been playing.” David is an electric player to watch who is not scared to take on tough shots and can get hot at any time running off strings of birdies. His speed is his biggest asset but it’s something he says he needs to learn how to utilise: “I might be a little different than the average player. I hit the ball pretty far and that makes it a bit more challenging when I’m out of position in the rough. We’ve caught a couple of fliers where the ball reacts different than expected out of the different lies and that makes it more challenging. But I’ve just got to learn from those mistakes and keep getting better. “My game is getting into good shape. I’m positive with the way I’ve been working on and off the course to get to that point that I can get the win. I’m excited for it and I’m learning. I just need to keep the mistakes off the card.” David is playing this week at LIV Golf UK by JCB and it’s a course which he says he enjoys. He also played well here last season coming T11. Hopefully he can continue his great form this season and contend again this weekend at the JCB Golf and Country Club.show more

sometimes i think abt how hardworking and disciplined minho... has been for all his life .. he volunteered at elderly homes, he took on multiple jobs while also studying to afford dance classes, he lived alone at a young age, he donated to sponsor children, he gave what he could to others even when he didn’t have much himself.. he took in stray kitties without hesitation and without even asking his mom first, just cus of how kind his heart is… </3 and even while he was working towards his dream he put others before himself along the way.. he never head it easy, he was never given anything for free… he always had to work hard for it and he never complained he got eliminated on the survival show for the sole reason of using his pain for engagement. he walked home in the rain cus he felt like he didn’t deserve a taxi. they broke him and disrespected him and he still showed up the next day to keep going and give everything he has. his dedication and commitment is insane ;; it honestly makes me so emotional… i feel sad thinking abt everything he went thru but at the same time i know this was always his dream. i don’t care abt streams or charts at all but seeing where the group is now just gives me so much relief. it means all his effort and hard work wasn’t for nothing :( i’m just rly proud for him… i’m so glad he got to achieve what he worked so hard for. today he’s able to buy the prettiest toys and treats for his kitties, able to spoil his family, able to casually buy a gucci bag for his dads bday… his face is on the biggest screens, everyone knows him. he must feel so accomplished </3 u came so far. i’m so so so proud of u minho. u deserve everything u have and so much moreshow more

Yesterday I was moving into a new apartment, and... I had some help from a couple of guys who do moving work. I first noticed something when I went to pick them up at Home Depot. While talking to the older man, he received a call and answered, “Yes, commander, I’ll call you back.” I ignored it at first. Fast forward to when we got home and started loading and moving stuff. Another call came in from the same “commander,” this time on speaker. The moment I heard the voice, I knew something was wrong, and the man didn’t realize it. On the phone, they were asking him for $2,000, saying the girl he was supposed to marry next week was sick and needed money for treatment, even though she’s supposedly a military nurse according to her profile. I signaled him and muted the call. I told him to ask for the commander’s name, and he did. The guy said his name was “Marthin” and then “Martinez” 😂. I took the phone and said something, and the scammer immediately hung up when he heard my accent. A few minutes later, he called again, asking why the man had handed the phone to someone else and claiming it was against their “security rules.” I took the phone again and cursed him out. I told the man to block them, which he did. Then he showed me many more messages he’d been receiving. The man was already far gone into the scam. I’m glad I was able to stop him from being scammed. These people really work hard for their money, really hard. I told him it’s better to get a new phone line.show more
