Dear Invictus Games Foundation, You say the foundation exists... to support the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel. Everyone agrees with that mission. No one is questioning the courage, sacrifice, or experiences of the veterans who compete. They deserve respect, recognition and the spotlight. But your statement tries to blur an important distinction. Questioning the direction, leadership, or public image of the Games is not the same as diminishing the experiences of injured veterans. Criticism of how Invictus is being presented is not criticism of the men and women who served. By suggesting that questioning anything around the Games is “disrespectful,” you effectively shield the organizers and the celebrity figures attached to it from scrutiny while placing veterans in front as a moral barrier. If the focus truly belongs on courage, recovery and camaraderie, then the spotlight should remain firmly on the competitors themselves. Yet increasingly the public narrative around Invictus revolves around Prince Harry and especially Meghan Markle, who is neither a veteran nor a participant in the Games. When coverage of an event meant to honor wounded service personnel becomes dominated by Meghan Markle’s appearances, wardrobe and personal publicity moments, it is fair for people to ask why. Especially when she does not even wear Invictus merchandise to promote the Games while reportedly spending lavishly on personal presentation during the events. If Invictus truly believes the focus should remain on those who served, then the simplest solution is obvious. These are the same products since launch. Same packaging. She has not added anything new besides limited edition crap. •why does it feel like a low rent fashion reel? She wears no less than 8 outfits worth over $100,000, never MIND the jewelry. What is “as ever” about this? She picks up a few jars of as ever spread-BFD, it could be any brand. There’s nothing about this that makes you connect to the brand. •the acting is horrid. Trades at 2.9x. Now look at tech platforms. - Roblox: trades at 4.2x revenue. - Spotify: trades at 4.1x revenue. Same $50M revenue, completely different valuation depending on what category investors put you in. $50M as a toy company = $30M valuation. $50M as a tech platform = $200M valuation. Luca said he wants to IPO by 2027. Told Decrypt he'd be "disappointed in himself" if it doesn't happen. Now ask yourself: would you IPO as a toy company at 0.6x? Or would you build a consumer chain, a global wallet, a gaming platform, and IPO as a tech company at 4x? He killed Pudgy Party (1M downloads) to focus everything on Abstract chain. Crypto narratives tend to move in cycles. 2020 was... DeFi. 2021 became NFTs. 2023 turned into the AI boom. 2024–2025 were dominated by memecoins and attention tokens. As a Y Combinator alum, I'm really looking forward to working with early-stage startups and couldn't be more energized about OpenAI's $2M investment in new YC startups. Despite OpenAI being the largest company I've been part of, it certainly feels like Sam Altman, Greg Brockman and the whole Codex team are in founder mode. I've never seen another startup move as fast as this team does. I'm truly honored to be joining such a brilliant team. Dagknight technical progress As would be mentioned in a... still unshared post by Michael Sutton, the dagknight effort is split into v0 devnet, v1 testnet and v2 mainnet candidate. I’ve been testing the current v0-based implementation in a small devnet with the help of some testers who run nodes and miners with me. The DK work can be thought of as split into two parts: (1) implementing the actual protocol and (2) wiring it up and using it. The testing and development over the last month has been focused on (2). Obviously, DK is a consensus change for selecting parents. What’s not so obvious is that such a change affects DAA, coinbase, IBD, pruning and a lot more. Each of these areas is very sensitive and requires proper understanding to wire correctly. An important consideration and difference from GD is that DK does not focus on maximizing a property like blue work. So to maintain topological properties of blue work, an independent (free) GD implementation is kept running specifically for maintaining blue work. This allows us to keep using the property for topology. Coloring and blue score use the megachain induced by DK. The wiring around DK as of this posting is in a working state, but still needs to be reviewed. Next efforts will be focused on protocol specific components, particularly Tie-Breaking and incremental UMC. Attached are some captures from the internal devnet. The dense DAG image is what happens when things related to DAA or other similar consensus parameter causes a node to insist on their POV.
