It’s almost catching up to TikTok. Here’s what to do instead: •Stop quoting and commenting under a negative Beyoncé and her family’s post. The more you engage, the more the Twitter algorithm spreads it, and then comes the bots. I’m sure you’ve noticed how so many negative tweets filled with misinformation end up with 100k likes and 20 million views. • Take a screenshot of the tweet, and talk about it instead. Once you stop engaging with the tweets directly, it weakens the algorithm. The tweet stops leaving their circle. •Send the tweet to anyone signed up to the Community notes. • Sign up for the community notes. •Report the tweet and the account, although this doesn’t seem to do anything these days.
