OKC Fire: Service does not always stop when the... emergency is over. Crews recently responded to a medical call involving a man who became ill while mowing his yard. After providing care and getting him safely into the ambulance, we noticed the yard was only half finished. We couldn’t leave it that way, so we finished the job. It was a simple act of kindness and a reminder that caring for our community goes beyond the call.show more

We took the Cybertruck to pick up mulch and... other landscaping supplies to finish the front yard. It was supposed to be a quick 15 minutes in and out. This couple was so interested in the truck that my wife and I walked up at the end of the video and started talking Tesla! We showed them everything about the truck that we could. While that was happening, another older lady walked up and asked if we could show her the truck too. So my wife finished with the first couple, and I started the tutorial all over again. If we don’t have the votes to nuke the filibuster, we should put the SAVE America Act on the floor and debate it until it passes, requiring filibustering senators to speak and making clear that if they stop speaking, we can “call the question” and pass it with a simple majority. If for some reason we can’t do that—and to be clear, there’s no legitimate reason why we can’t—then we should use budget reconciliation to pass it. In 1401, the cathedral chapter of Seville met to... decide what to build on the ruins of the city's mosque. According to tradition, this is what they agreed: "Let us build a church so beautiful and so great that those who see it finished will think we were mad." It took more than a century, and when it was finished it was the largest cathedral on earth, and it is still the largest Gothic cathedral in the world... The minaret of the old mosque was left standing and turned into the bell tower, the Giralda. It has no staircase. Inside are thirty-five wide ramps, built so the muezzin could ride a horse to the top to call the city to prayer. People have been climbing them for hundreds of years. And inside the cathedral stands what its own archives call the largest altarpiece in Christendom: a wall of carved wood and gold nearly thirty metres high, telling the life of Christ. The Flemish sculptor who began it, Pieter Dancart, worked on it until he died. It took almost a hundred years to finish. Not one of the men who said that sentence in 1401 lived to see the building completed... We can build anything we want now, but as poet Heinrich Heine once said: "In those days men had convictions, we moderns only have opinions. After ensuring the patient received the emergency medical care they needed, the crew wasn’t finished. Thanks to our incredible community partners at Cool Down St. Louis (CoolDownStlouis.Org), they secured an emergency air conditioning unit to help make the home safe & comfortable. We got a call to pick up this precious... baby from a location in Oyo State, the client clearly stated the car was in a pretty bad condition and that he wanted to refurbish the car for his Dad. Arrangements were made for pick up and shortly after the driver passed Ibadan, the engine was overheating, and there were oil droplets on the road from the engine, he waited for a while and allowed the engine to cool off and topped up the water in the radiator, he had not driven for 10 minutes before the engine overheated again, I contacted our client and I told him the best option was to tow the car because there was no way that car would get to Inside Òṣogbo , he said we should go ahead and he was going to cover the cost. The car arrived our workshop Doromecho Automobile Solutions Ltd. Inside Òṣogbo safely. We informed our client and gave him the update, it was indeed going to be a total and complete Overhaul and refurbishment but of course, we were up to it.show more

Two weeks ago, when the devastating collapse of the... Newtown experimental building occurred, the YEA Community Medical First Respondents (CMFR) were first to arrive at the scene. They were first because for the first time in the history of Ghana, we have Medical responders assigned to every community who work closely with the Ghana Ambulance Service as emergency technicians within the community. This collaboration with the Ambulance Service is the FIRST OF IT'S KIND EVER and was carved out of deep thinking not just to create jobs but to also save lives through quick emergency care and access.
