Another Scannell ⚽️ My nephew has just signed a... scholarship with Leyton Orient FC. Yesterday… he stepped onto the stadium pitch for an U17s game against Leeds United FC. 15 years old. And he scored. First goal. At a stadium. In front of people. That’s a moment you don’t forget. Over the last year, I’ve watched both my boys and my nephew start their academy journeys… a lot earlier than I ever did. It’s different now. Faster. Sharper. More opportunity. Swordfish is like chicken and pork had a baby…... except somehow the baby tastes way better than either one. It has that thick, meaty bite that almost doesn’t register as fish. Cooked to about 130–135°F, it stays incredibly juicy and tender inside. It’s basically the steak of the sea. Cook over hot charcoal for 6 to 7 minutes on one side and 3 to 4 on the other. You can do this in a frying pan as well with a little bit of butter. You don’t need any special seasonings, but I do like a little bit of Old Bay on mine. It’s a good time of year to buy swordfish. What’s causing him to do the things that he’s doing wrong? • Can’t just tell a kid to do something or force him to do it without the why and how. They need to understand what’s causing the problem. Punch’s stick gets snatched away by the baby 🍼😂,... but he takes it so sportingly! The reason I’m pointing this out is that if it were any other monkey, there might be a big issue. But Punch stays so calm, kind, and mature. 🥹❤️ It really feels like he understands the value of sharing and has so much empathy. Even mother monkeys don’t share their food with babies, as I’ve noticed many times they usually provide only milk but not their own food. I’ve been working my butt off trying to generate... $15K in a little over a month, so that’s why I’ve been pretty absent, lately. I worked over, did a few odd jobs, I sold stuff, and I moved some money from my checking, and I heavily cut my spending last month (no mountain trips).. But I was able to do it (by the grace of God), and Lord willing, this coming Friday, I’ll have Neighbor Joe’s truck back on the road and it will be mine (and no truck payment). New: motor, transmission, A/C, everything that bolts on under the hood, radiator, and even body bushings. Many others. It’s gonna run like a scalded dog, and I’m super stoked.
