I’ve found a way to get Destiny home from... Stargate Universe. Hear me out. By the time Stargate Universe happens, the events of The Ark of Truth have already happened. The Ori are gone, their followers have learned the truth, and the civilizations of the Ori galaxy are no long enemies. The Ori tech technology still exists. So why couldn’t that become the key to rescuing Destiny? Earth already knows how powerful Ori Supergate technology is, and we’ve already seen Stargates powered using energy from black holes. The Ori Galaxy now working with Earth, they can use Supergates, Ancient technology and black hole energy to establish a connection with the Stargate network near Destiny. Then! (And this is where I’m a genius) instead of simply getting Destiny’s crew home, find a way to establish a Supergate near Destiny as they can establish a super gate the same way they did in the Milly Way Galaxy. You’d effectively create a bridge between the Milky Way, the Ori galaxy and the distant galaxies Destiny has spent millions of years travelling through.
