Last night, our long-range sanctions targeted the occupiers’ military... logistics, oil industry, and air defense. All of this is a just response to Russia’s brutal attacks against our people. Our responses to Russian strikes also targeted oil facilities in the Saratov, Rostov, Tver, Stavropol, and Krasnodar regions, as well as in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan. Ukrainian attack on Cherkasy Cherkasy oil pumping station in... Russian Bashkortostan, about 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. The Cherkasy station is one of the key facilities of the Transneft-Urals system. It receives, accumulates, stores and pumps fuel from the Ufa oil refining complex to main pipelines. Through it, Russia exports almost 2 million tons of oil products every year, and in total, 27 tanks with a total volume of over 385 thousand cubic meters are stored there. Kirishinefteorgsintez is located more than 800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border and is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia. The plant, situated in the city of Kirishi in the Leningrad region, is a subsidiary of Surgutneftegaz. This is not the first attack on the refinery: it was previously targeted in March and September.
