This is how far the water came up on... the beach the last couple of days in Newport Beach. 😳 Look at how far away the ocean is. 🤯 In 2018 and 2019 the water reached all the way to the streets causing flooding during high and king tide events. Many people have stated that they think beaches should be closed when conditions like this are present. Others say they shouldn’t close them just because some people don’t listen to the warnings. I love the beach but I wouldn’t want to be there if riptides and swells like these were happening. I certainly wouldn’t have my young children there. What do you think? Further adding that, palliative is not a sustainable economic solution, particularly rice. Because rice palliative have become the federal go-to solution for every economic crisis complain.
