Tried something new today. I made a character based... environment and color direction board. First extracting the character’s palette, then translating it into an environment palette, and finally mapping where those colors should appear on the background, midground, foreground, lighting, shadows, and accents. Hard to tell if it’s fully working in this clip, and this might not be the best example, so I’ll test it again with a different style and a longer video, perhaps.
