Played around with the Meta Glasses for an hour.... Some observations. - First impressions. Pretty awesome piece of tech. Doesn’t look any different from any other wayfarer. Fits well. Light on the head. No headache. - Great little toy. Clicks decent pics. Can’t record for long. But good enough. Plays great music. Speakers are great. Don’t need earplugs. Can just say “Hey meta play this song” - “Hey Meta, what I am seeing” Best use case is wearing AI on your head. I looked at a book, asked it what I am seeing, it described the book, even gave a review and a short biography of the author. It translates text as well. Handsfree. - Do you really need it? Not really. It’s a handsfree phone. But a great piece of toy if you have the disposable income. Recorded this with the glasses:show more

Today I was disqualified for the first time in... my cycling career (14 years), for wearing glasses that record video. Unfortunately I was not aware of a new rule that was implemented in April that prohibited this. A warning, fine or yellow card could have also been enough. But what I struggle to understand is why In the Tour de France can you quite literally vlog with a camera in your hand which is perfectly legal...but because the camera is in the glasses you get an automatic Disqualification?! Yes, If I knew about the rule I would have also never posted it on social media. Anyways, I'll take it on the chin. Here is the video that got me disqualified & the other video is just to show what is completely allowed it seems. And lastly, my glasses have absolutely no AI capabilities unless used with a phone. So on the bike it can do nothing but record video!show more

I mean you do have a very good point,... however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.show more

Swordfish is like chicken and pork had a baby…... except somehow the baby tastes way better than either one. It has that thick, meaty bite that almost doesn’t register as fish. Cooked to about 130–135°F, it stays incredibly juicy and tender inside. It’s basically the steak of the sea. Cook over hot charcoal for 6 to 7 minutes on one side and 3 to 4 on the other. You can do this in a frying pan as well with a little bit of butter. You don’t need any special seasonings, but I do like a little bit of Old Bay on mine. It’s a good time of year to buy swordfish. I scored this piece for $13.99 a pound.show more

Watch the difference in the practice swings and the... shot. See the head dip & knee buckle? Have seen this from Lexi before. Can’t remember which major it was, but it was last season in the closing stages of the final round and tight lies. It’s a classic move from those who have anxiety with their pitching and are trying to help the ball in the air. I know it well. I had the chipping / pitching yips for a few years and was a complete mess. Head moving down & leaning back to the right shifts the low point of the club to an earlier spot. Club hits the ground too early. When you look at great pitchers they are usually shifting a little left, and slightly extending up after impact. Not dipping down and back. Imagine standing side on to the target and tossing to the landing spot with your trail arm. The dip down and knee buckle is completely at odds with how you would move. I am confident an expert short game coach could really help her with this. I reckon she is in the horrors mentally standing over these shots. No disrespect to Lexi, she’s obviously a great player. Yes, I’m just an armchair fan sitting on my couch 😎.show more

I took a look at the responses generally and it was like ‘I can’t guess it, but even just seeing pictures from you I’m happy’ ‘I’m happy just to see your face’, or like ‘I don’t really know what it is but I do see that Jonginie is working hard’—most of the responses were like this!show more

⚔️ Kingdom Come Deliverance first impressions ⚔️ Loving it... so far, basically a medieval detective simulator that really doesn't care that you are the main character. And I'm all here for it. ▪️The WORLD is the real star of the show here and even though it's got plenty of jank and lots of copy and paste NPC faces, it just feels so IMMERSIVE. Even the UI just transports me to the times with a bright colourful medieval art style. ▪️The MUSIC I love, absolutely sells the world and basically ASMR as you trot around on your horse through the world. ▪️THE Combat is a real interesting one, it's got quite the learning curve which I actually LIKE, it definitely has some jank to it as well but I really appreciate the attempt at an original and nuanced combat system. (Having to stop your bleeding with bandages is really cool) ▪️The Story has gripped me (19 hours in so far) And while it seems a simple revenge story on the face of it, I think the story is more about Henry making his way through the world after the horrors of Skallitz. The writing quality is top notch as well as the quest design also. ▪️The CHARACTERS are amazing and the humour is top notch. I'm not sure the last time I laughed so much at a game. Henry is great and so well voiced by Tom McKay This really feels like Warhorse Studios have put a lot of love and work into making an authentic medieval world and as a bit of a medieval nerd I can't get enough of this game. A True RPG as well by all accounts, the game really makes me think hard about how to approach situations. Also I can't wait to get to KCD2.show more

recently, a blogger on xhs compared song zuer's iconic... "qiao simei" scene with an ai-generated version, and the comments absolutely spoke for themselves 😭 ~"this proves ai can replace some actors, but it still can't replace truly great actors." ~"i think in the future, ai can be used for special effects and dangerous scenes that can't be filmed, but great stories and great performances are still what truly move audiences." ~"i can't feel any emotion from ai, but song zuer makes me feel like she's actually crying." ~"it's not as lifelike as a real person, but it's already better than a lot of actors who only know how to stare blankly. ai replacing human actors isn't just a fantasy anymore." ~"when you compare them side by side, song zu'er wins by a landslide." ~"ai can only imitate, but actors create characters." ~"what zuer conveys is disappointment in herself, disappointment in the other person, the disillusionment after years of marriage, and the irony of still believing in them. there are so many layers of emotion." ~"even if ai's crying looks fake, it already beats plenty of traffic actors. but actors with real acting skills like song zuer will never be replaced." ~"the one on the left is already better than over half of the chinese entertainment industry." ~"is song zuer's acting really that good? i watched the first episode of one of her dramas before but dropped it because i wasn't into the story. i never realized her acting was actually this good."show more

I feel weird even bringing this up, but here... we go. Subscriptions are open on my page. There is no graceful way to say that, so please take this with a kind heart. I know a lot of people are struggling financially, and I don’t want anyone stretching themselves for me. I have a great job. I’m just letting people know it exists because some of you asked. I’m not even saying I’m worth the money. I’ll be honest, I’m not the best person to subscribe to. I’m not an OnlyFans girl, I’m not teaching you how to get monetized, I’m not running a masterclass in anything. The subscriber section is literally just more personal, everyday stuff. It’s boring in a comforting way. You’re not missing anything. If you ever feel like hanging out with me on the quieter side of this app, it’s there. If not, all good. I just wanted to put it out there for anyone who might be interested. Pro tip: if you subscribe to anyone, please do it on a browser. If you do it through the Apple Store or the Google store, they take 30% and put it in their pocket. Those companies are rich enough. I have a real problem with them getting any money or subscribers. I didn’t know that when I first started subscribing to people. PS: if you are a current subscriber or a new subscriber, please go to my homepage and click on the subs tab. I post content there, but it doesn’t automatically show up in your feed. PPS: Please don’t be nasty to me in the comments if you don’t want to subscribe. I’m not a mean person. I can’t think of a humble way to tell people. This wasn’t easy for me to write.show more

It wasn’t about the trade but it’s about the... confidence and mind set There are a lot of stories behind this account and it make the best of my trades of the year so far. I have been trying to figure out what I... think about Brian Callahan….admittedly don’t know much about him but watching these three clips esp the press conference clip made my blood boil It’s difficult to play QB in this league esp as a youngster and there will be lots of growing pains with Levis…holding any player accountable esp the QB is important but for a young kid do it in the QB meeting room, do it in the team meeting room….if your comfortable in your own skin and you are a leader the blame in a press conference should always fall on you as the head coach (even if it’s not the case)show more

Back when I had nothing… I was a nobody... to most people. TBH, my parents didn't even see me getting to where I am today. It's just the truth, the chips were stacked for my sister. Not me. But it's just not the reality today. However, there was ONE person in my life that didn’t see me that way. My significant other saw something in me before a lot of things. Before all my wins. Before the $. Before any proof. And honestly… that means a lot to me, if not the most of all. I’ve always been wired a little different. I’m a mix of finance, engineering, and tech, with a sprinkle of obsession. I learned and studied from the best. Warren Buffett for how to invest. Elon Musk for work ethic and where the future is going. And once I saw it… I went all in. Bc when you truly understand what you own… you don’t need 20 bets. What you really need is conviction and just a few bets. That’s how I approached everything in my life. All the way from Apple… to Tesla… to 𝕏… to xAI… and now SpaceX. I believe I have an eye for spotting the best entrepreneurs and companies early, before it becomes obvious to everyone. And when I see it, I back it 100%. That’s just who I am. I don’t need a big circle. I’ve already got my day ones. I don’t need approval. I grew up my whole life with doubt and hate, so what’s one more? At this point, the levels are just too different. And yeah… it's true, it actually gets harder to make new friends when you’re moving like this. So I stay loyal to the ones who were there when I had nothing. I made it with Apple - youngest in, youngest out. Then I made it with Tesla… while people were laughing, doubting, calling me crazy, telling me I was going to go bankrupt with Elon. Fast forward to today, now I'm heading into something even bigger. If the story plays out the way it’s shaping up… SpaceX could have the largest IPO in history this year. The company is talking about raising over $75B… at a $1.75-$2 trillion valuation. For context… the biggest IPO ever - Saudi Aramco - raised about $29B. This would be more than double that. Let that sink in deep. To me this is more than just an investment. This is owning a piece of the future of space, energy, AI... extending the light of consciousness forward in case something happens to Earth. People can call me crazy. People can call me cocky. Arrogant. But the people that actually know me know the truth - I’m just real AF. I say what I believe, and I stand on it. And I genuinely don’t care what people think. I have two middle fingers always held high for those kind of people. That’s probably why I’ve been able to win the way I have. My significant other tells me to slow down sometimes. And I get it. But for me… What’s the point of life if you play it safe? If you see an opportunity that can change everything… and you just sit back? That’s not me. I’d rather go all in on something I believe in… live with intensity… take the hits… and actually feel alive and live life with fulfillment. Laugh if you want, doubt if you want. Some play it safe, a few go all in. You can call it risky. You can call it stupid. You can call it crazy. I call it living. Bc at the end of the day, I'd rather go all in on something I believe in and fail... than spend my life wondering "what if."show more

Some people are upset that I said “Raising kanan”... in the final season Is just as great as the others Is imo better than “the wire” It’s my opinion we don’t have to agree But romanticism plagues people The wire was great but it did have flaws 50 would never mess a scene up On raising kanan With bad song placement that does not even match the setting of the scene.. And also the actors in the car are terrible And they don’t even have lines lol Yes it was amazing and it’s legendary But I will not allow your romanticism with the past make you believe that the show from your childhood was flawless It was not!! It’s okay for new albums to be better than Illmatic It’s okay for new crime series to be better the wire It’s okay for a new teacher to take it to a level Malcolm X never got too It’s okay!show more

I watched Robot on the Road and honestly I... did not really know what to expect going in At the beginning it just feels like a pretty normal little road trip setup with this robot hitchhiking around Japan and it almost gives off a chill slice of life vibe But it does not stay like that for long The more it goes on the more you realize the robot is doing some really questionable stuff and the way it focuses on women without their consent makes the whole thing feel really uncomfortable By the end I was not really sure if I was supposed to find it funny or just feel weird about it Overall it feels like one of those shorts that tries to mix dark humor with awkward situations but it mostly just ends up being unsettlingshow more

Caitlin Clark Gets Candid on Media Coverage Caitlin Clark... opened up in a recently released interview about the constant media scrutiny she faces, calling some of the coverage “emotionally exhausting.” In this sit-down interview, the Indiana Fever star said: “I think there’s just like a false characterization of who I am sometimes. And I get it, like as a reporter or as a blogger, you can write an opinion piece and that’s your job… but at the same time, you don’t know me. We’ve never had a conversation. I get people have a job to do, but at the same time, don’t make accusations about my character and who I am when you don’t know me.” (Video: AI) Clark added that the narrative around on-court moments often becomes draining: “It gets exhausting. It gets frustrating… It’s emotionally exhausting. It’s draining.” She’s asking for something simple — judge the player on the court, not the person you don’t actually know.show more
