Playing with the Knuth-Plass algorithm and I think it’s... an interesting algorithm to visualize! Might write a complete visual article later, but here’s a quick comparison for now. It looks at the whole paragraph to find the breakpoints that produce the most uniform spacing. So unlike the greedy approach, the layout might shift when a new word is added. Note: I didn’t use pretext here; it’s a monospace font so calculating the word widths is quite easy. will try pretext and try other fonts nextshow more

my two favorite people saying the same thing “just... give it a try” 🥹 🦌: the most important thing is to just give it a try. i think the idea of taking that first step is one of the most important things in life 🦮: moments when we have to make big decisions can be scary, and i think that's completely normal. but the fact that something feels scary also means it’s a very important opportunity. that’s why i think it’s important to really think about what you want and then just give it a try. because if you don’t try, you’ll definitely regret it later onshow more

"Israel looks ‘tiny’ on the map compared to other... countries in the Middle East. Is there a way to get more? It’s so tiny." - Trump This was always the plan. They've talked about it openly for years. Oct 7th was a false flag and pretext to their next war. America will help, and all politicians will bend the knee.show more

This feature is what I am proud of the... most! I have built an algorithm that searches images based on a color and the algorithm will sort images based on how close the color is to the color selected and how dominant that color is in the image.show more

Woke up to severe rain before 5am this morning.... Got a flash flood alert about 6:00. What is falling from the sky right now? It’s more than just water. It’s easy to see with the naked eye but trying to capture it on video is not easy. You might think everything is just a rain drop but these small particles aren’t falling like the rain is, more like floating to the ground. If it was winter I might assume it’s snow but it’s not. On this clip everything that looks like a line is rain. Watch the speed it falls and compare it to the small particles that are traveling much slower. Some of the small bits are flying sideways and up. That’s not rain.show more

Only five, watch isn’t terrible lol. Here is the... play with Abrams at the plate. This is a throw on the run for Chapman and I would have had this as a single and an error as this to me is above ordinary effort. The issue is the scorer might think CHAPMAN can make that play, but it’s ordinary effort for the average fielder at that position.show more

🌟New Happy chat widget V6.5 update is available! This... update focuses primarily on new Beta compatibility for 🌟 Streamerbot 🌟 And with Sb, the chat is finally compatible for multistream with Twitch, YouTube and Kick! I know there’s a lot of concern about what might happen with StreamElements, but at least there’s a new alternative whatever happens! 👍 It’s a beta version, so I’d recommend that those who already have the widget give it a try first! I must say, the widget's setup is quite different and a bit more complex 🙏 In any case, as always, there’s a very easy-to-follow manual!show more

So I have been trying to do my own... take on the 4-2-1-3. but it is not for my play style. Will try some more, later on. For now I ended up with a 5-2-1-2 that I like a lot. And it’s surprisingly good against the 4-2-1-3. Anyone wants to test? 🔥🏴‍☠️show more

I've struggled to find a logo I liked for... quite some time. Over the years, I tried a lot of different alternatives but none of them really stuck. I randomly drew a scribble in Figma the other day and used AI to turn it into an algorithm. The results were great.show more

The famous 16th hole at Cypress Point. Playing 220... to the pin. Wind howling to the left and into. Last time, I tried to muscle a 3 wood and ended up drowning. This time I went with the bunt driver. It’s the rare golf hole so impactful to play that you think about it the entire round. Heck, I was thinking about it the day the round was scheduled. It’s so hard. It’s so beautiful. It’s the most thrilling golf shot in the entire world.show more

This is a too rude for TV gag that... was in my first special years ago but I was never happy with the recording of it. I slightly fluffed pronouncing the word ‘orchid’ and telegraphed the punchline. It still worked as its a good gag but it could’ve been better. So rerecorded last week in Norwich to set the record straight Orchid is the pivot word. It has to be pronounced in the listener’s story one time frame or it telegraphs the gag. That doesn’t matter if the pivot is also the reveal word ie at the end of the joke but it matters a lot when its in the middle. My new tour Gary On Laughing is better constructed than the first four and is happening now.show more
