Day 126 of the next 50 years is an... hour of cardio at 160bpm and back & abs. Walking a couple of miles a day on top of it. Since I have a 30* scoliosis, I have to train to keep my back and core strong or I’m in pain. Yes, it’s hard. So is being in pain. See those guys who blow their backs out? They need more core strength than they realize. A string back looks sexy too 😉show more

Some thoughts while training this morning: 1) I actually... don’t like getting up to train at 6am. But I do what needs to be done, and with a young family I want to spend time with I’d rather take time away from myself and train while they sleep 2) See your training as a meeting with yourself; this is an idea you might have seen thrown about. I put all my sessions in a calendar - when it’s in black and white it makes it easier to just get it done. Mood always follows action, too Have a good week friends 🫡🌱show more

I’m getting ready to head home in the morning,... but I would really like to send a shout out to Hank Smith (follow him by the way) He sent me a DM asking if I had any interest in bringing my family to see the holy land. I enthusiastically accepted, and booked my tickets. Hank is funny, engaging, and concerned about everyone he is responsible for. Most people don’t realize that he is a heavy hitter, and has a podcast called “hearHIM” that gets between 500,000 and 1 million listeners per week. He is a professor of religion at BYU, and it’s almost impossible to get him into his class. He’s extremely humble, and a heck of a nice guy. If it weren’t for him, I would not have seen what I have seen over the past two weeks. I’m grateful to him and Bountiful Travel, because now I know what it’s like to race in the Jordanian desert with Bedouins in Toyota Hiluxes. Thanks, brother. Let’s do another one.show more

Most impressive and memorable Songkran 💦 🧸: can you... believe that I used to play Songkran in Silom (a well-known street in Bangkok for playing Songkran) for two years? But my dad was there too, I wasn’t there by myself. I was there with my friends from school, and the parents were all behind us. My dad would shoot (water gun) people who’d shoot me. 🦋: dad is protective 🧸: yes! I’ve never had anyone dabbed powder on my face. I don’t allow it to be touched as I’m very protective of my face. I’m mainly focused on spraying the water. This year I’m not sure where I’d be playing or if I’ll play, but let’s wait and see because I might pop up somewhere to play or I might just be sleeping at home. ……………………………………………………………………….. 🦋: on the back of a pickup truck in/around Chiang Mai moat (famous for playing Songkran in Chiang Mai) and got to have ice as well (in the water). Went all out! I used to be a real fan of Songkran, but since I’ve grown up, I’m like…there are very few days of sleep for me, so I feel like on days off I‘ll just sleep. 🎤: spend time with your family 🦋: yes, I tell my mum and dad to stay at home and sleep. ‘Let’s sleep at home. I have my first golf lesson on Friday which... I’m buzzing for, but found a driving range in Croatia and hit a few balls. I have still only been to a driving range a handful of times in my life, and I am yet to play an 18 hole round, but going to get a few lessons first and then head out and give it a go 😆 Excited to get better!show more

Today, I was in one of Geneva's parks when... suddenly a plane flew overhead. Because of the trauma I experienced in Gaza, my first instinct was fear. For a moment, I thought it was going to drop a missile on us. Then, a few seconds later, I remembered that I am in Switzerland now, and that I am safe. War changes people in ways that are difficult to explain. Even when you leave, some parts of it remain inside you. My body may be here in Switzerland, but my memories are still in Gaza.show more

Suddenly, she fainted because she hadn’t eaten anything since morning due to running out of food. 🥺 My heart aches with pain and fear for her, and she has been unconscious for hours. 💔 I feel like I’m burying her alive with my helplessness, and the fear never leaves me—I’m scared I might lose her at any moment. 😢 I need to take her to the vet quickly, but I don’t have enough money to cover her treatment costs. 🙏 I’m not asking for much, just a small donation that could save her and give her a chance at life before it’s too late. I didn’t realize how much my job was affecting... me. I made good money but it wasn’t in alignment with what I wanted for my life. So I was stressed, tired and “always on”. 4 week ago I quit to put all my energy into consulting and creating. Today we got caught in a typical Miami afternoon monsoon. Two months ago I would have been racing to the car to be on slack or zoom. Today we stopped and danced. And enjoyed life a bit more.show more
