It’s been a couple of days since our last... update on Payton’s recovery from pneumonia and cleft palate surgery. Long story short, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. She’s required oxygen - finally got off of that today - and has started crying finally. Before this surgery, she cried twice in her entire life, so that’s been very difficult for us to see because it means something is wrong and upsetting her. She’s required one of us to be by her 24/7 as she’s needed suctioning CONSTANTLY with all the junk coming up and the drool, along with her frequent puking and bowel movements. The antibiotic is absolutely helping with the pneumonia, but it’s destroying her little digestive system. Please be praying that her stomach starts to not upset her as much and she can give her body a bit of rest. The plus side is that she has started sleeping like a champ at night. Previously, if we could get six straight hours of sleep, we viewed that as a really good night. The past several nights, she’s gotten eight or more straight hours to the point where our night nurses have been slightly concerned. 😂 We seem to be turning a corner though, thankfully. We’re hoping that after taking five steps back with this surgery that we can now begin the road forward to taking 20 steps with speech, eating, etc. that comes with a closed palate. And we’re still finding moments of joy like this in the midst of the toughest two weeks we can ever remember. Thank you to everyone who keeps checking in on us, bringing us meals, and praying for us. PUBLIC CAUTION 🚨 "This is to alert the public... about a girl who identifies herself as Audril Perkins, or Akos (suspected false name), who advertises online as a househelp/domestic worker. She was employed on Saturday, 17/01/2025, mainly to help care for and feed our two children, as my wife has been away for sometime. She came with a very small handbag with only few clothes in it, which was unusual for a live-in help. She also had very long hair, long nails, lashes, and inappropriate attire. I immediately made it clear that she would need to dress appropriately and remove the hair, nails, and lashes, which she obliged and did by the next morning. This made me lower my guard as I thought she was a good person who just needed some guidance, since she appears very young. She said she’s 19, completed SHS and from Kumasi, but in Accra to seek for a job. She’s squatting with a friend in east legon while on a job hunt. I requested that she comes along with a family/guarantor, and she said her Mom will accompany her but later claimed when she arrived that her mom was attending a funeral and would visit the coming weekend with her belongings. She provided a phone number for her mother (0596143081), but I called 3 days continuously but there was no answer. I asked her about it and she mentioned that her mom is forgetful sometimes and might have misplaced her phone but she would give me her sister’s contact instead, unfortunately I forget to follow up instantly. While she was here, she slept in the kids’ room alone, where my wife’s locked wardrobe, boxes, and a large luggage bag were kept. There is CCTV coverage throughout the house except inside that room. By Tuesday, 20/01/2026, I noticed suspicious behavior: She spent excessive time locked inside the room. She never “slept” with the lights off and She had to unlock the door from inside each time I called (I assumed perhaps she’s had some bad experience in the past which has prompted that, so I didn’t think much of it ) On Wednesday morning, 21/01/2026 I went to the kids room just to check around and I discovered my wife’s old clothes carefully hidden under and around the bed. When questioned, she gave an unconvincing explanation but the kids were getting late for school so I asked her to return the clothes to the bag she picked them and said we would discuss it after I return from dropping the kids at school. At this point she had only lived with me for only 4 days. By the time I returned, I found that she had broken into part of the wardrobe and fled, carrying my wife’s large luggage bag filled with, Clothes, Handbags, Perfumes, Cash, Jewelry, etc. The incident has been reported to the police, and shes captured on CCTV carrying the bag out, all relevant evidence have been submitted. Sorry, I’m drunk: We don’t have many “little steps”... left to take or make. We won’t be together much longer. She will be taken; though I’ve known it for years, it doesn’t hurt less. She shined in an incredible way – a supernova. I was black-pilled after a terrible divorce complete w/ false accusations & later this woman came along; I was slow to trust & bitter but she made the world bright again. She made me smile. She gave me hope & something to come home to. I think that’s what most men aspire to…something to come home to, some family unit to serve & sacrifice for. Y’all, for everyone dragging Sana because of one video from the 73rd THIS IS FOR tour show, I think it’s important to look at the full context before judging her dancing ability. First of all, Sana had been dealing with a cold, flu, and cough for over a month at that point, which can definitely affect stamina and performance consistency during a 2–3 hour concert. There are also several factors that can make the dancing look less smooth in that particular fancam: 1. Outfit If you’ve watched other fancams from this black outfit era, Sana was adjusting her outfit quite often on stage because it seemed to shift, slip, or sit unevenly at times. An uncomfortable outfit can naturally affect movement and make a performer more cautious. 2. Camera tracking The camera appears to follow her movements slightly late. Even a small delay can make smooth transitions look jerky or abrupt when viewed on video. 3. Awkward zoom distance The fancam isn’t zoomed out enough to show the full choreography, but it’s also not close enough to focus on facial expressions. Because of that, viewers end up focusing mostly on body transitions and posture, which can make movements look harsher than they actually are. 4. I find it really interesting Candy was a Young Steff groupie & tried to break into the hip-hop industry but failed. Something awful happened on that set. I don’t know what she did to get cut out of the video, all but .8 seconds. The artist hits her in the head while dancing & it looked intentional. Editing this in is a real insult. In a video on YouTube Candace tells us that an apology, from the boy who called her a racist name in high school, would have solved all of her problems and prevented her from making very destructive decisions, which led to her dropping out of college and starting a doxxing site called “social autopsy”. I imagine the embarrassment from this experience in the music industry was deeply scarring to her. Candace likely believes a young woman’s past is worthy of sifting through because her past is very checkered—going all the way back to high school. This video alone doesn’t prove as such but it does represent her abject hypocrisy and celebrity complex. It might explain why she latched onto Kanye and attacks celebrities. Why does my cat stalk towards me as though... I am prey? I only caught the tail end of this occurrence in the video, but about once a week I notice my cat (5 months) stalking towards me like this (she typically starts from much farther away and goes even slower). The weirdest part to me is that she only really does it towards me, not my husband. I’ve also seen her stalk prey before and she doesn’t usually continuously move in slow motion like this, she typically walks forward, pauses and assesses for a while, and then goes for the kill. Usually when she does this to me, she ends up snapping out of it due to movement or sound elsewhere, so she’s never pounced or anything - at most she jumps up next to me and then goes back to normal. I’m a new cat owner so this may be typical behavior, but it is so bizarre to me that this behavior seems reserved for me alone - not my husband, not our dog who she loves wrestling with (thanks reddit for clearing that up), and not the bugs she preys on. Yesterday, during a flight from Antalya to Kazan, we... encountered turbulence and literally 20 minutes later, the captain announced that one of the passengers was unwell and asked for help from medical workers. I intuitively approached the girl, the guy accompanying her was confused, the staff measured her blood pressure, brought ice, then hot tea, ammonia is prohibited, they gave her some snuff. I am not a doctor, but my very first client in long-term work was a girl with panic attacks and we have come a long way to her self-regulation without medical intervention. The passenger had a panic attack, in 15 minutes I was able to help her and understood what doctors feel when they save people's lives 🫶 It is clear that the attack was not life-threatening, but frightened empty eyes, a pale face, icy hands and feet, a body shaking in an uncontrollable tremor finally began to breathe, her face turned red, tears flowed and the girl came to her senses. I am surprised why flight attendants are not trained in panic Panic attacks, because they have all the attributes you need - a craft bag or a simple paper airline bag, put it on tightly from the bridge of the nose to the chin and breathe in a count, for example, 22/1, 22/2, etc., clearly pronounce it to the person in the attack. After the initial symptom relief, ask to find 7 objects of the same color, and do this 5-7 times, changing the color of the objects. Practice the "here and now" exercise daily. And of course, knowing the tendency to attacks, go to work with a psychosomatic therapist and be prepared for the flight, having anti-anxiety medications with you.
