Three things about Trader Joe’s: 1. I found some... of that Argentinian beef that was supposedly going to “save” us. And the fact that beef shipped 5,000 miles can be $4/lb cheaper than American beef exposes some serious domestic problems. Why is imported beef 25% cheaper than beef raised here? 2. Trader Joe’s “premium” strip steaks are some of the worst retail steaks I’ve ever seen. I could cut better-looking steaks with my left foot. 3. I won’t be back.
