Alright this is starting to become a ridiculous problem.... Second time in 24 hours on V14.3.7. This isn’t a native 14.3.7 problem, it has been happening to me (though rarely) since 14.2. I’m ok with nav thinking roads are closed and re-routing. 95% of the time it does this it is wrong, but that’s beside the point. It’s the fact that it does it at the very last minute when it literally already started a turning maneuver. It is so startling and tries to whip it out of a maneuver like it’s avoiding a crash. And the worst part is that the roads it’s trying to avoid are almost never actually closed. Please fix this Tesla AIshow more

A very interesting theory someone brought to Jon Bray's... attention is that this van in the parking area where Charlie ends up getting carried to after he is damaged pops the trunk just seconds before the shooting. Apparently acoustic analysis of all sounds at that time support that a real shot was fired from the rooftop area into the back of this van and that possibly a detonation was triggered by the sound. It was previously brought back in because it was unable to hunt and would have starved to death. The collar allows it to be identified and tracked. A strong bond remains with the volunteer who raised it from a young age, and who hopes that this attempt at reintroduction will succeed.show more

This is quite funny. We're visiting Kamakura in Japan... and we came across a large group of Chinese tourists in a place that, at first glance, looked nothing special. Turns out that this very spot is one of THE most iconic locations in Japan for Chinese people who grew up in the 1990s. Why? Because in the 1990s there was this Japanese basketball manga called "slam dunk" that every kid was watching in China, and the opening credits featured an image of this very spot: a railroad crossing on a small street leading to the beach in Kamakura. Apparently this place is so popular with Chinese tourists that they had to cordon it off at some point. Now it's obviously reopened with 3 guards assigned to handle the traffic. And now that they've heard about it, it's my daughters' turn to be hooked on the series so maybe in 20 years' time they'll be perpetuating the passion and come back to this "Slam Dunk" shrine ☺️show more
