Auto Drivers skip Short Rides, Then Charge Double Offline... Bengaluru’s Auto driver luxury A peak-hour moment on Bengaluru roads has sparked frustration, as an auto driver was seen repeatedly skipping low-value rides on his phone. The incident was recorded by a nearby car passenger, who sarcastically remarked that the driver would only accept rides when the “vaastu is correct.” he Booked a nearby ride multiple times today… yet no one accepted. But the moment you step out and ask offline, the same ride suddenly costs double. Not every short ride is just a “small trip.” Sometimes it’s an emergency. Sometimes you’re already running late. Sometimes you just need a quick, reliable ride without delays or unfair pricing.Platforms like Ola and Uber were created to make commuting easier, more transparent, and fair. But when short rides are constantly ignored, it defeats the very purpose of these services.A ride is a ride its distance shouldn’t determine its importance. This isn’t just one person’s experience. It’s something many of us face almost every day.Hope this gets the attention it deserves. #bangalore #bengaluru #autodriver #ola #uber Ola Uber Rapido S. Lalitha ChristinMathewPhilipshow more

THE TESLA MODEL S: THE CAR THAT MADE ELECTRIC... VEHICLES SERIOUS When the Model S launched in 2012, the entire world still saw EVs as slow, boring, short-range toys for tree-huggers. The Model S changed that narrative overnight. It wasn’t just an electric car — it was a statement. Here’s why the Model S was so important for EV adoption: • It proved EVs could be faster and better than gas cars 0–60 mph in under 4 seconds (later Plaid versions under 2 seconds) while being completely silent and smooth. It beat most supercars off the line and made “electric” synonymous with performance. • It delivered real long-range capability Over 300 miles of range when most EVs at the time struggled to reach 100 miles. Suddenly, road trips became possible and “range anxiety” started to feel outdated. • It introduced over-the-air updates The first production car that could get major performance upgrades, new features, and safety improvements wirelessly — like a smartphone on wheels. This changed how people think about car ownership forever. • It forced the entire auto industry to respond Legacy manufacturers who had been dragging their feet on EVs suddenly rushed to catch up. The Model S basically lit the fuse for the modern EV revolution. • It made luxury electric desirable Premium interior, massive touchscreen, ridiculous acceleration, and futuristic design turned EVs from “compromise” into “aspiration.” Without the Model S proving that electric cars could outperform and out-luxury gasoline vehicles, we wouldn’t have the Model 3/Y explosion, the Cybertruck, or the flood of competitors now racing to go electric. The Model S didn’t just sell cars. It changed the future of transportation. It took EVs from niche to mainstream and showed the world what was possible.show more

I was the first Korean in the world to... take a ride in a Tesla Cybercab, and I’m incredibly proud of that. 🇰🇷 You can probably tell from these raw, unedited videos just how excited I was getting into it for the very first time. No steering wheel. No pedals. No driver. Just me getting into a Cybercab and trusting it to take me where I needed to go. Even now, it still feels surreal that this is actually live and operating in the real world. I’ve followed Tesla and believed in this future for 10+ years, so getting to experience it firsthand, being one of the select few to be invited to the launch event, and represent Korea while doing it… is something I’ll never forget. These are the raw moments from my very first ride. You can see it from my reactions… I was like a kid experiencing the future for the first time.show more

A Delivery That Changed My Day Today, while doing... my daily delivery work to earn a living, I came across a heartbreaking road accident along Mombasa Road. An electric motorcycle rider had been hit by a speeding car. I arrived moments after the collision. Although I was too late to prevent it, together with other good Samaritans we helped the injured rider and rushed him to the hospital. The incident stayed with me the whole day. It reminded me how quickly life can change on our roads. To all electric motorcycle riders, please ride with extra caution. Some helmets have built-in earphones, and if you're listening to music or talking through them, you may not hear a horn, a warning, or an approaching vehicle—especially on busy highways. Road safety is everyone's responsibility. Drivers, riders, cyclists, and pedestrians all need to look out for one another. Slow down, stay alert, avoid distractions, and remember that every person on the road is someone's loved one. Let's protect each other. One careful decision can save a life. 🚦🛵❤️show more

🚨 THE BIGGEST LIE IN MODERN HITTING. We’ve become... a game of clones. Everyone wants the same launch angle, the same hand path, and the same “aesthetic” finish. But here is the reality: If you’re coaching every kid to move the same way, you aren’t coaching—you’re just copying and pasting. 🧩 Feel vs. Real The truth is found in who can decipher the feel vs. real for every individual player. • What a coach sees on camera (Real) is almost never what the athlete is experiencing (Feel). • If you tell a hitter to “get on plane” and they start dumping their barrels, your “correct” advice just broke their swing. 🧬 Different Bodies, Different Movements Everyone is built differently. One hitter has long levers and tight hips; another is short, explosive, and hyper-mobile. Everyone moves differently. So why on earth are we buying into ONE rigid swing philosophy? Unless that philosophy is the one that allows you to get the only intended result that matters: CONSISTENT BARRELS. 🎯 The Bottom Line Stop trying to win the “Best Looking Swing” award on Instagram. If your swing is “ugly” but you’re a barrel machine, you’re a better hitter than the kid with the “perfect” mechanics who can’t touch a high-spin heater. We need to stop chasing positions and start chasing intent. If the “feel” creates the “result,” keep it. Everything else is just noise. Stop cloning. Start competing. If you want to build a swing that is for for you, sign up for a 1:1 coaching call. DM us here.show more

This driver is trying to ma a left turn... and the car on the opposite side stops and makes a path for them to turn. As the car starts to turn, an electric bike in the bike lane comes speeding down and well, as you can see, smashes into the car and flips over the front. Luckily he gets up and is walking. He could have been seriously injured. To me, this is quite literally why they say you’re not supposed to just stop in the middle of a street to let someone turn. Some are saying it’s the red car’s fault for stopping and letting the driver turn. Others are saying in their state, an electric bike is like a motorcycle and has to obey the traffic laws. Who is at fault? Do you think the electric bike should have been in the bike lane traveling that fast? The red car for letting the car turn left when it can’t see, or is it the drivers responsibility to make sure all is clear before proceeding?show more

I honestly hate having to make tweets like this,... but the pure hypocrisy in this fandom has crossed every line! Major BTS fanbases stay dead silent without dropping a single statement, while this disgusting behavior from Jiminas is being completely romanticized all over the timeline This lack of respect is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Since when is seeing healthy, happy guys, interacting with each other on stage and trying to give their absolute best to the fans considered a problem? You guys are literally romanticizing mass hate trains against Taehyung, Seokjin, and Jungkook just because they’re actually enjoying the tour and having fun? Are you really that miserable? Apparently, for these Jiminas, a concert is only "good" when the members are collapsing from exhaustion on stage and needing oxygen masks from overexertion. Is THAT what you pray to see? Stop romanticizing this harassment and bitter behavior. What’s happening on stage is a group of healthy, happy guys enjoying their time with fans and each other. THAT is what’s making this tour so iconic and going viral for all the right reasons. If seeing them happy pisses you off this much, you're the problem. Get help and stop being so toxicshow more

For the first time, we witness Putin—known for his... cold protocols—shaking hands with an Arab leader with such extraordinary warmth and fervor. This is not just a greeting; it is a global recognition that the "Keys to the World" are now held in Riyadh. 🇸🇦🤝🇷🇺 Russia and Saudi Arabia are the only players capable of drawing the map of energy prices and determining the course of the global economy. While others are busy with "exit maneuvers," the Architect of Saudi Energy proves that alliances of the powerful are built on sovereignty, not wishes. A lot of hitters confuse being late with letting... the ball get deep. They’re not the same thing. In this video I show it with a simple example. I toss the ball and reach way out in front of me to catch it. That’s what late looks like. The ball already beat you… now you’re chasing it with your hands. Then I toss another one and catch it slightly behind me. That’s being on time and letting the ball get deep. When you’re late, your body and barrel are reacting after the ball passes your window. You’re forced to reach, cut across it, or roll it over. When you’re on time, you can let the ball travel and still control it. Now the barrel can stay through the zone longer, and you can drive it with authority. Deep ≠ late. Good hitters aren’t reaching for the ball… they’re on time enough to let it come to them. ⚾️ Train with an expert. Not an influencer.show more

This vehicle is going to get upgraded on Tesla‘s dime. Now let’s put on our thinking caps for just one damn second. Do you really think that Tesla is gonna go through all the time and energy to upgrade a vehicle like this just to bring it up to December 2023 standards? Fuck no. If they upgrade these vehicles, the upgrade is going to bring it all the way to whatever is needed to unsupervised and it’s going to include the latest and best hardware. 🚨The Clarity Act just made it out of committee.... THAT IS A WIN, no question. And yes, I believe American-made digital assets like $XRP $HBAR $XLM $ONDO $TEL $ZBCN $ADA $LINK $ALGO and others will benefit over the long term. BUT SLOW DOWN! This does not mean you sell your house and lever yourself to the moon. This is not the finish line. This is the warm-up lap. There is still more work ahead. The Senate still has to debate it, vote on it, and work through the rest of the process. Then it goes to the President’s desk. And even after that, the real regulatory work begins. So yes, enjoy the progress. Raise a glass tonight if you want. But do not bet the farm. The rails are being built. This is a long-term shift. Do not expect straight-up price action from here. There can still be shakeouts. There can still be pullbacks. There can still be downtrends that test your conviction. But if you zoom out and look at the bigger picture, the direction still looks up to me. That is why I keep saying patience matters. Clarity will not reward the most emotional people. It will reward the people who stay focused long enough to let the thesis play out. Do you have the guts to think long term and hold for generational gains? 👇show more

Mk.gee is on a sold-out tour in support of... his excellent album ‘Two Star & The Dream Police’ right now, accompanied by Andrew Aged and Zack Sekoff. In LA, Mk.gee brought out frequent collaborator Dijon to perform “New Low” with the band, while Tyler, the Creator, Bon Iver, Enya, and more were in attendance. A brand new song has been on the setlist at the shows so far, alongside favorites like “Alesis,” “Are You Looking Up,” and “New Low,” plus most of the rest of the album. It feels like the hype keeps building for Mk.gee, and his captivating live show confirms that it’s well earned. If you’re waiting to see him in your city, you’re in for a treat. If you think pre season is a joke then... you have no idea how difficult it is for players to stay in shape and most of this training are connected to how the team wants to play during the season. This is what the first few days in the pre season looks like and medicals like blood test, flexibility check, mobility test, VO2Max test, and the heart test to see if the heart is healthy. My personal view on pre season test is that I hated the VO2Max test and if you are not fit enough the pass the test which usually last for just 15 minutes. When I was at Vitesse Arnhem and Red star Belgrade my medicals took 3days to be completed and it was the longest I ever had. If you don't take your off season trainings seriously you will be exposed on the first day of pre season test and you will be in trouble with the coach.show more

Mark Ruffalo says he lied about knowing how to... ride a horse to land a role, only for the horse to immediately expose him on set. At the audition, Ruffalo was asked, “Can you ride a horse?” and confidently replied, “Of course I can ride a horse!” In reality, he says his experience mostly involved sitting on horses that followed other horses. “I was basically just a sack on the back of a horse.” Still, when they kept asking if he could ride, he insisted: “I can ride a horse! How many times do I have to say it to you?” After getting the part, Ruffalo planned to secretly learn the basics from the horse wrangler. “I'll say, ‘Listen, man. I don't know how to ride a horse. Do you think you could teach me really quick?’” But the wrangler warned him: “You can't learn to ride a horse in half an hour.” Ruffalo's response: “Try me.” The first scene required him to jump onto a horse, kick it, and ride away. Instead, the horse bolted in the wrong direction and disappeared into the woods. “The horse was trying to kill me.” “It was running up against every tree... to try to scrape me off.” Panicking, Ruffalo somehow mixed up “stop” and “go.”. “I was like, ‘Stop! Stop! Stop!’” while continuing to kick the horse. Eventually the wranglers caught up, jumped off their horses, grabbed his horse, and practically wrestled it to the ground. Ruffalo then had to make what he called the “shameful 300-yard walk” back to director Ang Lee. Lee was sitting there silently watching the disaster unfold. Ruffalo walked up and asked: “Should we do it again?” 😆show more

With Labor Day coming up, imagine melting down on... television, like Ted Cruz did last night because the head of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism suggested that 2 beers a week may be a good guidelines for Americans to follow. Here are the facts: - NOBODY is going to prevent you from drinking beer. - The director of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), Dr. George Koob merely stated that if alcohol consumption guidelines were to go in any direction, it would be in line with Canada's, where guidelines published by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) recommended citizens limit alcoholic drinks to two a week. - Koob said: "You are likely to avoid alcohol-related consequences for yourself or others."[if you limit your consumption to 2 drinks per week] Once against Republicans are trying to fear monger ignorant voters into believing that the government is going to stop them from drinking their precious beer. For the record I probably have 3-4 alcoholic beverages a week on average. I also understand that it's probably not healthy. Just stop with the false outrage already!show more
