California’s failed energy policies are costing working families -... but it doesn’t have to be this way. By producing the oil and gas we still need locally, CA can decrease our reliance on more costly foreign oil and protect families from even higher gas prices.show more

China's government built this with 1 trillion dollars. It... now has more bullet trains than the rest of the world combined. They didn't build it for profit, but to provide a public service. Here, our government is experimenting with everything just to figure out How to make a profit from it. How to collect tolls from roads. How to collect tax from every new item. And yes, I have seen them spending millions on airports that no one uses.show more

I tried explaining to some of our American friends... and family members about the sheer magnitude of fireworks being launched throughout the city of Berlin on New Year’s Eve. It is incomprehensible. When we moved here, a fellow American warned me, “Think of the biggest Fourth of July celebration you’ve ever been to and then multiply that by 10 and imagine it lasting 5 hours.” And even that doesn’t begin to describe what New Year’s Eve is like here. 90% of Germany’s fireworks are sold in 3 days, every street becomes a launchpad, and anyone can be a pyrotechnician. 🎆 Here’s our view from last year. And it went on and on for hours.show more

i’ve been very impressed by washington dc. government officials... are taking crypto seriously. they’re listening and want to make progress. they’re hyper aware of their mandate from trump. and they know how important it is to get clarity. plus, the city itself is the cleanest american city i’ve ever been to. the roads are perfectly paved. there is no litter on the streets. there are no homeless people. it’s a far cry from san francisco and new york. it makes me very bullish. because it shows that when they pay attention to the problems that matter, they can solve them.show more

🇨🇦 Canada’s new defence plan reads like a diplomatic... alarm bell: America’s closest neighbour is preparing to spend dramatically more on its military while deliberately cutting its dependence on U.S. defence suppliers. Ottawa’s target is to lift defence and security spending to NATO’s new benchmark of 5 percent of GDP by 2035, with the plan structured around rebuilding Canadian production capacity and scaling a domestic defence industry that can actually deliver at volume. The sharpest signal is procurement. Canada intends to steer roughly 70 percent of defence acquisition spending to Canadian firms, up from about half today, explicitly to reduce reliance on foreign suppliers and to build “national champions” at home. The strategy also frames this as an economic programme as much as a security one, tied to jobs, exports, and industrial growth. And yes, the subtext is bigger than Canada. This is what allied “de-risking” looks like in real time: not a press release about shared values, but a hard pivot of contracts, supply chains, and long term capability planning away from the United States. Every U.S. ally is “leaving” overnight, and Canada is demonstrating a new instinct spreading across the alliance: prepare for a world where Washington is no longer the the popular guy. $GME Earnings has my 100% focus right now. 😬... I want you to remember one thing: Even if stock falls 5-10% today, that’s all fake technically. Stock is looking great. Broke the wedge, has a bullish gartley completed and is aiming for huge moves. My confidence is so strong on that, that if it drops after earnings, I’m looking to liquidate my trading account and throw more on GME. Hoping for strong earnings, and possible announcements from the company. But if that’s not the case after all, chart is telling me to buy as much as I can! 🤝show more

This woman has ZERO self-pride and ZERO self-worth. She’s... standing in the welfare office filming herself like she just won the lottery — giddy about scoring Section 8, WIC, a free bus pass, backpacks, and lunch. All paid for by people who actually work. No shame. No embarrassment. Pure entitlement, served with duck lips and tattoos. This is the exact culture the left has spent decades building: turn people into proud dependents, celebrate the handout as an “achievement,” and mock anyone who still believes in earning their own way. Real dignity comes from self-reliance. From busting your ass, building a family that doesn’t need the government as a crutch, and teaching your kids that free stuff has a cost — usually your soul and your future. This video is disgusting because it normalizes the rot. The welfare state didn’t lift her up; it trapped her in a mindset where collecting checks feels like winning. We don’t need more of this. We need work requirements, time limits, and a culture that says: stand on your own two feet or get out of the way. America was built by people with pride — not people bragging about their latest government score.show more

Cats reduce the risk of death from heart attack... by 33% — scientists A study by the University of Minnesota found that cat owners are less likely to die from cardiovascular diseases. Researchers followed more than 4,000 people over 20 years and discovered that those who keep cats at home have nearly a one-third lower risk of dying from myocardial infarction. According to cardiologist Mariano Napoli, interaction with cats reduces stress, blood pressure, and heart rate — all of which strengthen the heart. “Cats stabilize emotional well-being and have a pronounced cardioprotective effect,” he noted. Previously, the American Heart Association suggested that dogs reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease — but it now turns out that cats are even more effective.show more

Lifted out of poverty” sounds impressive — until you... realize poverty just moved to a different postal code In every Chinese city, there’s a forgotten corner where the country’s “miracle workers” live — domestic migrants from thousands of miles away, sleeping in abandoned buildings and on the street, chasing jobs that barely pay enough to go home. On paper, China has one of the highest home-ownership rates in the world. But for millions, those homes exist only on paper — built in villages that were never part of the central plan, where no factory, no hospital, no future was ever designed to reach them. So they leave on the high speed rails. They travel across provinces to build someone else’s city, someone else’s dream, while their own hometowns fade from the map. The government calls it “lifting millions out of poverty.” But if poverty simply moved — from the countryside to the city margins — was it ever truly lifted, or just reclassified? The skyscrapers get taller. The headlines get brighter. Yet even in an economy that looks unstoppable, the people building it are still left behind.show more

The Sabotaging Practice of Over Supply and Sameness in... the NFT Space. The current zeitgeist of the NFT space is that the same artists are doing the same kind of work five times a year, with project after project leaving a trail of disappointment and discontent among collectors and all of us watching in disbelief as huge resources are extracted from the space over work that feels like it could be left as an "artist study." I understand that you can do what you want with your money as collectors, but we are killing the whole space with this incestuous practice. No artist is that prolific to be able to do 5 collections of 100+ pieces each every year and actually deliver innovation and some kind of creative evolution. Of course, they can pretend play that the work has something new, but there is no precedent nor proof that that has ever happened in the speed that it happens in the NFT space. Again, people are free to through away their resources on whatever they want but with this way of doing things, we more and more are going to start seeing the consequences. Oh! There are consequences? Yes. Maybe unintended, but there are. Let's see. Let's start with the loss of belief in the NFT space as somewhere where emerging artists can come and find support for their experiments. Why even bother to bring experiments, innovation, and new ways to think of art on the blockchain if the same people have all the collectors hypnotized with their magical flutes? Why even try to come to a space where taking risks and challenging the status quo (the mission of art!!!) is overlooked? This makes the NFT space a social club and not a space for art. I guess it is fine, but IMO it is a recipe for disaster. New collectors stay away because the art will slowly but surely become stale and un-challenging. Why even bother to come and see what is happening here if you can't, as a collector, see new weird and up-and-coming artists? The amount of noise emitted by the same artists doing the same art over and over, drowns out any new voices. Again. A recipe for disaster. The NFT space is becoming a space of disappointment and doubt. We think that collections going to zero one after the other, over and over, is not damaging? I feel we are kidding ourselves. Disappointment piles up, and again, the people who will hurt are the emerging artists, the new blood, the ones who are willing to risk the most and, in return, put fire in this cold space of sameness. I love this space—don't get me wrong—it has changed my life, and I believe it has a ton of potential, but things need to change for it to become a beacon of light in art. But we need to support new voices. We need to support new ideas. The challenge is huge. I hope to contribute all I can to this change. I hope more and more see how exciting it is to go out and try to discover what else is out there and move this space forward. But again, I understand the leaps of faith needed, but if there is a space that is based on that, it's the NFT space...so there is hope. We will see. 📺by Boldtronshow more

I have to tell you that corporate media is... failing the American people and is by default making them complicit In promoting Trump’s agenda of crushing dissent. Their failure to report on the vast majority of people protesting peacefully is disgraceful. We know from investigations following the BLM protests and the more recent college protests that right wing agitators play a role in stirring up trouble and once the media focus on the trouble IT becomes the story. It’s infuriating and an impossible situation for peaceful protesters who then become victims of state violence. 🎥 TikTok -show more

It’s difficult to put a finger on exactly when... a nation falls. It is hard to know the very moment, but you can feel it in your bones when the president gleefully admits that his election was purchased with money from another country. He does this knowing that moves like this will usher in untold Republican loss in 2026 and 2028. And yet, he still does it. We’ve moved from nuance to bragging about the theft of American tax dollars and delivery over to another people in another place. It is not done to uphold US interests, but is a tithe to unbelievers who hold inexplicable power and authority over our government. And since it is done despite its devastating impacts on the upcoming elections, one must imagine it’s done under some sort of fear or duress. What other explanation could there be? It is one thing to know what goes on behind the scenes, and quite another for the president to admit it. This admission signifies the full transition from a strong lobby to absolute power, with the full sanction of the president and the full weight of government to enforce speech codes and stand up 100 task forces. This is to Republicans as BLM was to Democrats; this is them on one knee ushering in a time when you too will be expected to kneel.show more

🚨 THE FORCE THAT HOLDS ATOMS TOGETHER MAY BE... TEARING THE UNIVERSE APART. A groundbreaking new study suggests that the strong nuclear force the same force that binds quarks inside protons and neutrons could be responsible for the accelerating expansion of the universe we call dark energy. Using advanced quantum chromodynamics modeling, physicists found that the behavior of the quark vacuum at cosmic scales produces an effect that mimics dark energy almost perfectly. Why this matters: • This could finally solve the “cosmological constant problem” — one of the biggest failures in modern physics (a 120-order-of-magnitude mismatch) • It links the tiniest scales (inside atoms) with the largest scales (the entire universe) • The model matches real observations from Type Ia supernovae, quasars, and HII galaxies • Upcoming telescopes like Euclid and the Vera C. Rubin Observatory can test this idea in the next few years The deeper implication is staggering: What if dark energy isn’t a mysterious new substance at all… but the same fundamental force that holds matter together, just acting on cosmic scales? The glue of the universe might also be its engine. What happens if this theory is confirmed? Would it rewrite our understanding of reality itself? Not to throw shade on the US government, but... they have been rejecting science, stalling clean energy advancements, and even planning to drill for fossil fuel in national parks, risking irreparable damage to our climate. One way to fight back is to support companies that move us in the right direction. My friend, one of the founders of Mado Dynamic smart window shades, showed me the prototype of his new technology and I totally geeked out! It may seem like a small thing, but energy loss from windows is a huge contributor to global warming. These shades will automatically adjust to keep heat out (or in, depending on the season and time of day), even when you’re not at home so less fossil fuels are burned to keep homes comfortable. And the founders of the company are trying to create a product with a price point low enough to be broadly accessible to average consumers everywhere from the US to the EU and India. So do me a favor: Check it out and invest in the kickstarter. We can still rally to build good things even when our government is working to destroy things!show more

The game-changer for the next NFT bull run is... already HERE 🔥 Cross-chain NFTs 🌐 What is so special about them and why do they make a difference? Cross-chain NFT is a token that can be moved from one blockchain to another. For example from Ethereum to Base. But why is it useful for projects? 🤔 - Everyone can mint on their favorite chain (the one they keep the funds or the one they like) - Access to NFT protocols and tools from multiple networks - Lower transaction costs (eliminate barriers for new members of the crypto market, adoption) - Enhanced liquidity- Allowing NFTs to move seamlessly between different chains promotes liquidity aggregation. Cross-chain makes NFTs easier, more accessible, and more useful - that's the real #CrossChainRevolutionshow more
