I added a node to my custom node that... converts the depth image to a normal map! This is useful for 2D-style images where Normals Estimation doesn't work well.show more

Transferring normals from one mesh to another allows smooth... transitions between objects, very useful for environment creation! 🔥 As far as I know, this isn’t possible with Cycles since it’s a path tracer. It would have been really handy! Tested on Blender 4.5 Alpha. #b3dshow more

When deforming text in #blender, the result can often... appear stretched & distressed. Quickly Fix it by adding a Remesh modifier, set it to Sharp, untick Remove Disconnected and increase the Octree Depth. Be careful of high geometry though! #b3dshow more
