I’ve just OTA’ed my Model Y to 2025.8.7 and... found an interesting update: When having AP active I no longer need to keep my hands on the steering wheel. I do however need to keep my hands near the wheel with palms up (as seen in the attached video from Tesla Europe & Middle East) Looks likes they are now only using the cabin camera to make sure I am attentive. I drove at least 5km/5 minutes without touching the steering wheel, so it’s no glitch. Dear Tesla Team, dear Elon Musk I am reaching... out to report a concerning issue that has surfaced since the recent holiday update for Europe 🇪🇺 Tesla drivers. Many in the Tesla community, have noticed that the autopilot's 'steering wheel movement' prompt has become increasingly difficult to dismiss with normal, gentle maneuvers.
