HapdZi Birthday, Sam! As many of you are aware,... as part of this year's "Sam's Birthday Fundraiser" we have been raising funds for the dZi Foundation. The dZi foundation works along side communities in Nepal providing support, infrastructure, knowledge, education, and upskilling, whilst working towards sustainability and self-sufficiency. This is one of the nicest things about China:... whatever happens to you, you can always count on people's solidarity. This is what just happened to us. We wanted to park our RV right next to Hulun lake for the night but stupidly managed to get it stuck in the sand. Impossible to drive out anymore 😓 Immediately, and I mean immediately, people around us started to pitch in to help. Luckily it so happened that a group of ex-PLA soldiers were having a get-together barbecue 100 meters away from us. They got told about our issue, stopped their barbecue and came to help. They told us "don't worry, no matter what we'll get you out, it's just a matter of time". Before we know it, one of the guys takes the wheel of the RV and the others start pushing. In 5 minutes, job done! RV unstuck and the guys get back to their barbecue. The Chinese are often depicted as cold and distant but my consistent experience is that they're one of the kindest people in the world, always ready to help a fellow human in need!show more

Prompt in comments 👀 It looks you have to direct the camera as much as the model to get the most out of Firefly. Every other video session in our research needed a revision. Revising the first frame is where Firefly broke: >motion failures (temporal flicker, motion continuity, physics in motion) carried 60% of video's issue mix once designers re-prompted. TLDR: in Adobe Firefly, the camera does a lot of the work. Bake it into the first prompt and the video lands. Its by far the best time to be a creative.show more
