Hauz Khas Station Today Morning at 08:45 AM. These... are regular scenes at this station since years now. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has Failed to improve Peak Time congestion. Moreover the whole station is Suffocating, Super Hot & Humid like a Green House. Most Trains on Yellow line have inefficient AC’s for the crowd that travels in it. Suffocating. Most of the footfall on this Route is Office Goers between Noida- Gurgaon but Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has no plans to make a direct connection. It’s my/our job to make sure he’s also producing force at a high rate and to not just go for maxes. Health drives performance. Once we get in the 500 range, we really won’t focus on more weight. Yes he will definitely be able to lift more than 500 but instead we will focus on pulling a % at FAST SPEEDS. Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may... not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Ikkada road undali kada saar...! This is Bengaluru’s Silk... Board after last night’s heavy rain. The entire stretch turned into what looked more like a swimming pool than one of the city’s busiest junctions. Even the newly constructed metro station area was completely waterlogged, raising serious concerns about Bengaluru’s infrastructure and drainage planning. Vehicles were struggling to move through the flooded roads while commuters were left stranded in traffic chaos. Despite massive development projects and ongoing metro construction, the city continues to face the same flooding issues every monsoon. For the first time in forever, Coimbatore is faster... from Mangalore via the coast than through the hills. Kannur bits are pending. Kozhikode to Palakkad leaves these roads for busy and slow two track roads. But the rest is so perfect, it feels like an AI imagined template. Very drivable with a stop in Kozhikode for lunch. Building vast open expressways in barren landscape is one thing. But building them through the density of Kerala is an insane feat for any country on earth let alone India. UPDATE ❤️ The person who sent us this heartbreaking... case has now managed to locate the puppies. Their mother had hidden them deep inside a tunnel near the school. This little family is still very vulnerable, but at least we now know where the babies are. Our team is planning to visit again over the weekend when the school is quieter and safer, and we will do everything we can to bring this family to safety. For the past five years, we have almost always shown you the final happy ending — the rescue safely on a bed, eating, resting and loved. But the reality behind the scenes is becoming harder every day. Because of the ongoing dog culling crisis, our shelter is already overwhelmed with mothers and puppies. Every day we face painful decisions we never had to face before. So... Vertical tabs are out in Chrome. I thought... it would make me switch back to it, I really thought it was the one thing I needed in Chrome. I currently use Dia , but here's the thing. In comparison, the implementation of vertical tabs in Chrome is just awful. It barely changed since I saw it in beta. I thought it would greatly improve during the beta phase, but it did not. So here's everything I dislike about it compared to Dia: 1. It's super laggy. 2. When collapsed, the sidebar moves down, meaning the position of the expand/collapse button shifts down too, making it much harder to find. (I ironically couldn't find the first few seconds of the video specifically because of that) 3. No keyboard shortcut to expand/collapse. 4. Collapsed doesn't move the tabs out of view, they are just tiny. 5. The amount of tabs per line in the grid of pinned tabs is not adjusted depending on the number of tabs. 6. In collapsed mode, all the pinned tabs are now in a column, which can push the actual tabs quite far down. ----- It's just awful. It was built into Chrome as a way to just say "hey we also have vertical tabs!" But the UX is simply awful. This has to be the worst implementation of vertical tabs I've seen so far yet, sadly.
