This Notion-inspired navigation bar ultimately made it into Sol... While we wait for the App Store review, I wanted to share one of the reasons I love using Sol so much: I often need to capture quick notes, but just as often I need structured notes that are easy to find later. That’s why every note in Sol is made up of entries. Each entry can have an unlimited number of subentries, which can be nested as deeply as you need I’m already working on a way to link entries together using deep links, so you’ll be able to create interconnected notes tooshow more

App Store localization is another boring process. You have... to write release notes and update descriptions for every supported language for every release. I used to do that, and in the end, I used English for all languages 😅 So, I create an app to solve this problem. You can create a new version and localize metadata within one click. #iosdevshow more

🐶 if i happened to be at a hotel... right now and not a camping car, it'd be tough since there are people who go to find me sometimes... i hate that, so in the meantime, i can keep moving inside a camping car where i can hide as much as i can. because of that, i don't really have much burden [in that regard] which is why i wanted to tell what you what i'm doingshow more

After coming to China, I often get so moved... that I cry. Only in China can you understand what the true way of human life is. Women don't have to be monetized or rely on their bodies. Here, you just need to focus on living and seek a true love and family.show more

i'm writing my own gui framework in c++ and... rewriting my image editor using it, which is going good so far, i wanted to move from swiftui, qt, tauri, electron, react native, and flutter so i can use metal and directx gpu apis on macos and windows as much as possible,so i think going full metal/directx is the way to go i know i have a very hard and long way to go though as there are many many flaws, bugs in this very very early version and doesnt utilize the gpu as much as i want to but i hope we will get there soon ,i also need to make the ui look somewhat decent instead of whatever mess it is right nowshow more

Every so often I like to share a ‘living’... photograph, so that you can hear and hopefully feel the peace of the scene, as well as see it. This was my view this morning, and I honestly never wanted to leave. music notation is hard for me, so I'm trying... to create an intentional synesthetic connection between notes and colors in my brain I made a new version of kepiano that connects via midi and displays the notes as flexoki colors (oh and there's a woodworking project in there too)show more

We just released a new marketing site and I... wanted to talk through some of the changes that we made and why. Design thinking is the other side of the feed, it's usually more nuanced than the flashier parts and typically doesn't hold up as well to a quick scroll. Doesn't bode well for this thread! But, this will be my attempt to talk through the changes made and why. First up, this is our new hero. At Loops.so, our goal right now is to be the only platform you need to email your users The H1 matches that intention and the subheader reinforces it. We also wanted it to be clear we ship fast and often, so we added a pill showing the latest featured changelog. Agents are part of how people build software today, so we wanted to give that the second most important placement on the page, right after signup. Finally, the logo strip should not distract too much, but it should still help people understand these are users, not just logos. So we added the date of first payment from Stripe next to each logo. Next up, more things!show more

🎙️ Raphinha after FC Barcelona’s 7-2 win: 🤝 On... Hansi Flick and their relationship: “I can’t speak about others, but the truth is I’ve always said this and I’ll keep saying it forever. He’s the coach who changed my mindset so much inside the club, as well as the way I look at myself. That’s why I’m so grateful to him, and whenever I can, I’ll prove it to him.” 📈 On his level and always wanting to improve: “I think it’s always important to think that there’s something you need to improve. I’ll never tell you that I’m fine or that I’ve reached my best level, because if I said that, I’d be lying. I always try to improve everything I can, and I’m certain there’s still something more I can offer the team than what I’m offering now. I’m happy with the goals and the victory, and I think that’s the most important thing. But we have to keep improving, not just individually, but as a team as well.” 🎯 On playing as a striker: “The truth is, I’m comfortable there and scoring goals. I feel like I’m in good form.” Reporter: “Not bad, is it?” Raphinha: “No, not bad.” 😅 🤝 On Lamine after missing the penalty and helping his teammates: “This is normal, and that’s why whenever I can, I’ll try to help him, not just him, but Karim and Gabriel as well. I, more than anyone else, know that a striker needs his goal. We’re trying to do everything we can so he can score. We’re like a family here, and in a family everyone needs to be okay and moving in the same direction. So whenever we can, each one of us tries to help the other.” 🔥 On Adeyemi, the new players and Barça’s mentality: “I think this is the players’ hunger and their constant desire to achieve more. We have a mentality that whenever we can, we should look for more goals and create more chances. On top of that, it shows on the pitch just how strong our bond is as teammates. In that moment, I think Karim saw Lamine in a much better position to score the goal. And I think if we keep going this way, we have everything it takes to be at the top.” 💙❤️show more

Kenny Loggins slams Donald Trump for using 'Danger Zone'... in an AI video where Trump drops poop on No Kings protesters “This is an unauthorized use of my performance. Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied, and I request that my recording on this video is removed immediately" "I can’t imagine why anybody would want their music used or associated with something created with the sole purpose of dividing us. Too many people are trying to tear us apart, and we need to find new ways to come together" "We’re all Americans, and we’re all patriotic. There is no ‘us and them’ — that’s not who we are, nor is it what we should be. It’s all of us. We’re in this together, and it is my hope that we can embrace music as a way of celebrating and uniting each and every one of us"show more

Increasingly, HTML Artifacts are becoming a core part of... how I work with AI agents. Long-horizon agent sessions need a better way to surface insights about what work it has done. This may not be obvious right now, but as you start to let your agent work on dynamic workflows, large codebases, long-running loops (e.g., using /goal), and deep research tasks, you need a good way to present results. Chat window is not it. You also don't want to just trust everything the agents do. Artifacts help provide an important verification layer, which in turn enables important decision-making. I like HTML artifacts because I can just ask the agent to produce as many of them (and in whatever form) as I need to verify the work and make sense out of everything. I even built a nice tab system for my artifacts. They are great for continual learning and research. I use HTML artifacts for logging, tracking experiments, brainstorming, managing my inbox, code reviews, agent session management, deep research, writing, reading, and so much more. I believe Andrej Karpathy wrote about this somewhere: As we move on to more advanced applications of AI agents and outputs get more complex, we will start to find the need for even more advanced forms of interactions with AI, including interactive neural videos/simulations.show more
