Weston Bryan (Weston Bryan) made his commitment to Georgia... Southern official on Wednesday, becoming one of the program's highest-rated recruits ever. The 4-star ATH/QB from Lee County (The Rocker Lee) stuck with the Eagles because it was "the first team that believed in me, and allowed me to believe in myself." This fall, Bryan completed 161 of 232 passes for 2,357 yards and 29 touchdowns. He added 1,241 yards on 180 carries and 30 touchdowns rushing the football. He accounted for 3,598 yards and 59 scores in 2024. Unreal numbers from the soon-to-be Statesboro resident.show more

The Northwest Baseball had a great week of MIAA... action this week, going 3-1, beating Washburn in a midweek and taking a HUGE series victory over No.3 MSSU. Connor Polli was nails out of the Bearcat bullpen today, going 5 shutout innings in relief to get the win. Polli hasn't allowed a run in his last 3 appearances. Speaking of great, Ryan Williams has been great with a 9-game hit streak and a 6-game RBI streak. Williams is the team leading hitter at .400 (3rd in MIAA) Trey Morris had 7 hits and 6 RBI over the week, now at a team lead 45 RBI (3rd in MIAA). #D2Baseballshow more

Aidan O'Connell gets sacked on his final play last... night and in my opinion the sack is on the #Raiders QB just as much as it is on LT Andrus Peat. AOC has a 3 step drop which means the play is designed for him to get the ball out quick. If you don't get the ball out then a QB is going to need to Create something. But what you don't want him to do is back pedal into a sack. Peat does lose the rep, but he does a good job recovering and pushing the DE up the field. I think AOC's ability to feel pressure, get away from it, and throw on the run were some things I saw from him last year where he struggled with. So I do hope next week he shows a little bit more in that. Overall the play didn't work because Luke Getsy designed a really poor play where the spacing is off, I will talk about this more on my Youtube channel later today but you can clearly see that Bowers was supposed to be a natural pick for Tre Tucker at the bottom of the screen. But the spacing didn't work and the WR and TE run into each other.show more

Army veteran takes his life just one day after... returning from his honeymoon with his wife, delivers his wife a final gift months later. North Carolina woman Isabel Coles says her husband Christopher, took his life just four days after they got married. "In the morning, he was folding laundry, and things were a little weird. I asked him what was wrong, and he said ‘Nothing.’ Then he went downstairs and tried to get out," she said, according to the New York Post. "I stood at the front door and asked what was going on. He got out and started heading towards the woods." Coles says she ran to get her shoes, but by the time she chased after him, he was gone. His body was found in the woods the next day. "He was very hard on himself, always pushing himself. There were no signs, it did take me really off guard." Coles says three months after Christopher passed, she was delivered a bouquet of flowers on Valentine’s Day. "In February, I got a flower delivery from him, and I freaked out. I contacted the florist, and they said he ordered the flowers in September." After my mother made a 2 day road trip... to the Tesla service center in High Point, NC to repair a squeaky sound in the front end while driving, this is the aftermath. They literally fixed nothing … I can’t believe they didn’t even test drive it to check after the repair. My mother is deaf in one ear and has a hard time pinpointing sounds so she was worried to complain as she thought maybe she wasn’t hearing it correctly. I’m in town for Christmas and took it for a drive today and this is what I discovered. Now I guess she is expected to book a hotel and make yet another trip. I will be reaching out to the service manager next week. He was super friendly and communicative so I’m sure he will be happy to help. I’m just disappointed that they didn’t validate the repairs.show more

Barkley actually hits the ball with his forearm midair but Mike’s hang time outlasts Charles and he readjusts the shot. 4. Majerle jumps slightly after Mike and slaps his right arm midair but it doesn’t matter since Jordan switches to his left hand and his hangtime out lasts Majerle too 👀 5. Chambers is the 4th player trying to stop Mike he fouls Jordan’s body by not being straight up and pushing against his chest midair. Doesn’t matter Mike scores.. 🐐show more

He lost the auction by $50,000. The next morning,... Richard Burton called Cartier himself. “I’ll take it.” $1.1 million later, the 69.42-carat pear-shaped diamond was his — the most expensive diamond ever sold at the time. He gave it to Elizabeth Taylor. She tried wearing it as a ring. It was too heavy. So they turned it into a necklace. She wore it over the scar from the tracheotomy that nearly killed her. Hollywood’s most famous couple. One of the most famous diamonds in history. And a love story that was as oversized as the stone itself. Would you have spent $1.1 million the day after losing the auction? Drop a 💎 if this diamond still hits different. #TaylorBurtonDiamond #ElizabethTaylor #RichardBurton #HollywoodHistoryshow more

The King's Guard is famous for standing perfectly still,... no matter what happens around him. On this day, one guard did something no one expected. Earlier that afternoon, a six-year-old boy named Oliver had been walking through the crowded plaza with his parents. He was excited to see the guards in their red uniforms and tall black hats, just like the pictures in his books. In the noise and movement of the crowd, his parents' hands slipped away. One second he felt safe, and the next he was surrounded by strangers. Fear took over. Tears blurred his vision as he pushed through coats and legs, calling for his parents while nothing around him looked familiar anymore. Looking for someone who felt safe, Oliver spotted the guard standing motionless in his sentry box. He ran straight toward him and grabbed the red coat with both hands. Please help me, he cried. The guard was trained to ignore distractions. He was trained not to react. Still, when he looked down and saw the terror on the child's face, instinct outweighed protocol. A glance at the clock inside the box showed one thing clearly. His shift ended in two minutes. In a calm, steady voice, he spoke without moving. Stay right here and don't move. I'll help you in one minute. Oliver stood beside him, gripping the coat, counting every second. At exactly the end of the shift, the next guard marched in and officially took over the post. Only then did the first guard step away. He knelt down immediately and opened his arms. Alright, buddy, he said gently. What's wrong? The boy's brave face collapsed. I can't find my mom, he sobbed. Oliver pressed into the guard's chest, shaking. The guard held him firmly and spoke in a low, reassuring voice. You're safe now. I've got you, and we're going to find her together. He stayed there with the child, unmoving and patient, until police located the frantic parents and reunited them. Everyone who witnessed the moment understood something important that day. Rules matter, but compassion matters more when a child is afraid.show more

“That was fun, but not as fun as tackling... people.” Preston Lobliner had these words of wisdom after his first day of kicking camp with James Wilhoit. Without any training, he was the only kid in his league last year who could kick extra points, and that was HUGE since they are worth 2 points since nobody does it. With Middle School Football upon us, we are excited to see him contribute to his team as an accurate and powerful kicker and an all out DAWG on offense and defense. This was 30 yards, and after this camp and learning how to actually kick, I expect to hit 40+ by the time the season hits. Also the best news ever for us, he is starting back in wrestling next week daily after injuring his elbow at practice the day after winning state so we will start working on that 3rd state championship! SUPER PROUD of this kid!show more

Social media is filled with edits by Indian women... comparing Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai's husbands, saying how one Miss World won in life and the other did not, by demeaning Abhishek. Let's ignore the fraud beauty pageant competitions. Aishwarya Rai has a very mid career even after working with top directors like Shankar, Bhansali, Mani Ratnam, etc. Even her biggest box office hits like Robot, ADHM, Ponniyin Selvan, etc. came after her marriage. Abhishek Bachchan is a born millionaire. Still, he was simp enough to marry an actress who does skin show for money and was the ex of Salman Khan. Still, he is getting hate. And what success did this fraud Priyanka Chopra achieve in Hollywood? She is literally hired because she is dark brown and fills the ethnic diversity hiring category for the South Asian community. No one considers her a star, lol. Just check her Hollywood filmography. Don't forget that she also made the anti-Hindu show Quantico. Perfect example that being a simp will always get you hate.show more

MLP in PyTorch by hand ✍️ ~ 7 steps... walkthrough below Goal: fill in every blank in the PyTorch code to build a multi-layer perceptron. 1. Given Let us start with a code template on the left and the network it is supposed to build on the right. Every blank in the code can be worked out from the picture. 2. Linear layer We count: 3 features in, 4 features out. So the weight matrix is 4 by 3. There is an extra column for the biases, which means bias = T. 3. ReLU Let us apply the activation. ReLU crosses out the negatives, so -1 becomes 0. 4. Linear layer The input size is 4, because that is what the previous layer put out. The output size is 2. A 2 by 4 weight matrix, and this time no extra column, so bias = F. 5. ReLU We cross out the negatives again. 6. Linear layer Two features in, five out. A 5 by 2 weight matrix, with a bias column, so bias = T. 7. Sigmoid Let us finish. Sigmoid squashes the raw scores (3, 0, -2, 5, -5) into probabilities between 0 and 1. You have just implemented a three-layer deep neural network by hand. ✍️ == Story == Three years ago I gave this exercise to my students, to connect the code to the math. They found it odd. Every other AI course they were taking lived inside a Jupyter notebook, and here I was handing out paper. Three years later, my colleagues are the ones rushing to move their materials to paper. The exercise has not changed. Paper still asks the one thing a notebook lets you skip: do you actually understand what the code is doing? If you can tell me why the weight matrix is 4 by 3, and why bias is F on the second layer, you understand nn.Linear better than someone who has been copy-pasting it for a year. 💾 Save this post! #AIbyHand #PyTorch #DeepLearningshow more

Batch Normalization by hand ✍️ ~ 7 steps walkthrough... below Batch normalization is common practice for improving training and achieving faster convergence. It sounds simple. But it is often misunderstood. 🤔 Does batch normalization involve trainable parameters, tunable hyper-parameters, or both? 🤔 Is batch normalization applied to inputs, features, weights, biases, or outputs? 🤔 How is batch normalization different from layer normalization? So I drew and calculated one entirely by hand. Goal: normalize a mini-batch of 4 examples to mean 0 and variance 1, then let the network scale it back. = 1. Given = A mini-batch of 4 training examples, each with 3 features. = 2. Linear layer = Let us multiply by the weights and add the biases. Batch norm sits after this, which answers the second question: what gets normalized is features, not inputs, weights or biases. = 3. ReLU = We apply the activation, and -2 becomes 0. Negative values are suppressed before any statistic is taken. = 4. Batch statistics = Let us compute the sum, mean, variance and standard deviation, one row at a time. A row is a feature and the four columns are the four examples, so every number here measures one feature against the rest of the batch. That is the "batch" in batch normalization, and it is exactly what layer normalization does not do. The statistics are rounded to whole numbers, which is what keeps the rest of the page doable in pen. = 5. Shift to mean 0 = We subtract the mean, in green. The four values in each feature now average to zero. = 6. Scale to variance 1 = Let us divide by the standard deviation, in orange. Each feature now has variance one, whatever scale it arrived at. = 7. Scale and shift = We multiply by a linear transformation and pass the result on. The diagonal and the last column are trainable, so having just forced every feature to mean 0 and variance 1, we hand the network the means to undo it. The outputs: Mean of each feature = [2, 1, 2] Std dev of each feature = [1, 1, 2] To the next layer = [2, -2, 2, 0], [-3, 3, 6, -3], [2, 0, 1, 2] The answers: 🤔 Both. The scale and shift are trainable, the statistics are not. Epsilon and the momentum on the running statistics are the hyper-parameters, and one mini-batch by hand needs neither. 🤔 Features, after the linear layer, not inputs, weights or biases. 🤔 Batch norm measures across the batch, one feature at a time. Layer norm measures across the features, one example at a time. 💾 Save this post!show more

After criticism, Jindal Global Law School deleted their X... post(Screen recording of the post attached). But does it change anything? NO! Because the Pakistani Former Chief Justice already spoke in the seminar on 26th March 2026. Below is his LinkedIn post (image attached) of Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, where he wrote he is extremely excited to join the seminar. He said he was invited by his close friend Justice Michael D Wilson of the Supreme Court of Hawaii. Questions remain the same: 1- Why was a Pakistani given invitation to speak in a seminar in an Indian college about a topic related to Pakistan? 2- Why is Chief Justice of a US State Hawaii, is inviting a Pakistani to an Indian Seminar? 3- Why did the Jindal University accepted this invitation, gave a Pakistani a platform and allowed this to happen? 4- The owner of this university is BJP MP Naveen Jindal. Did this happen without his knowledge? 5- What is Ministry of Education and Dharmendra Pradhan doing? How are such things happening inside an Indian University?show more

This type of goal makes coaches cream their pants.... Look at this set face off play for the game winner winner earls on main chili chicken dinner. Let’s break it down: 👇 #1 starts with a face off win. Low to high. #2 D to D (spread the defense out) and find Scheifele who rolled off his check at the dot and found space on a wheel route behind the net to find open ice on the other side of the zone. (Dot width). Aka Get lost in space. Create confusion. #3 Morrissey distributes the puck back down to MS who then corrals the pill and surveys his options while getting his toe caps back down ice towards the net, at worst presenting as a shooting option himself. #4 And the key to this whole play? Offense away from the puck. Kyle Connor recognizes time and space and gets available for a one timer by putting himself in a shooting position leaving the slot and fanning out. Lastly, The NHL is all about finding the 2 on 1. Finding the one timer. This was poetry in motion and lost coverage from #Stlblues that cost them the game. - People’s breakdownshow more

BREAKING: Jussie Smollett’s conviction overturned. - Smollett was convicted... of staging a racist and homophobic attack on himself in downtown Chicago in 2019 and lying to the police. But the court sided with his appeal, tossing out the conviction. - His legal team argued that a special prosecutor should never have been allowed to take over after the Cook County State’s Attorney initially dropped the charges. - Smollett, who is Black and gay, claimed two men assaulted him, hurled slurs, and placed a noose around his neck, sparking a massive investigation and global outrage. - They alleged it was all staged because Smollett was upset over the studio's response to hate mail he received while starring on the hit TV drama “Empire.” This stunning decision reignites one of the most controversial cases of recent years!
