Day 80 of learning how to script on Roblox!... 👀✨ Today I created a script for whenever my character goes to sleep in the bed, the clock time will turn to night time and there will be sheep emitting above their head! I actually had a really hard time trying to find a way to set the character placement on the bed... I originally tried to use an animation to make it work but it was just a huge mess... huge credits to H2M Blox on YouTube! I used their video guide to help bring this together 😅 I feel like there is a way more optimized way to do this, anyone have any tips? 🤔show more

I think what’s so poetic about this image is... that it was unintentional. I had my phone set up to record the launch and at about 40 seconds into the launch, it hit me that this is the FIRST TIME a woman is going to the moon. My mother and grandmother were alive during the Apollo missions but this is the FIRST time they’re witnessing a woman making that journey. My heart filled and I turned the camera to capture my reaction in that exact moment. I’m so glad I did. The image you’re seeing is a woman in STEM in awe over Christina Koch - and the impact her journey will have on millions of girls around the world. Battletrap had one of the coolest designs in Transformers... ROTB. He was a character that looked very badass, our modeling team did an amazing job on him. Originally, he was a Decepticon, even having the Decepticon insignia on his forehead and in concept art. We changed this to the Terrorcon insignia fairly late into production to match the rest of the Terrorcons like Scourge and NightBird. He was a very large character and we spent a good chunk of time making him dirty and greasing him up. I did the blocking Texturing & LookDev on him before handing off to my team to take him through to final. We experimented with making the lights of his eyes pulse and animate as he spoke, since he doesn't have a mouth, but these efforts were scrapped as he didn't have enough dialogue in the film to warrant the R&D efforts required to make it look great. Fun fact: During production, a Transformers fan had found my University graduation project of Titan (the predecessor to Hyperion) and claimed it was a leak of Battletrap from the film. This was very funny to see from my perspective as someone who had made the referenced work and was also working on the film itself. Streaming iPhone data in real-time directly to Rerun 🚀... The collection process is one of the most frustrating parts of building imitation-learning datasets. I’ve got a little army of sensors—📱 iPhone, iPad, Quest 3—but getting them temporally aligned, spatially aligned, AND seeing real-time feedback while recording is tough. I stumbled on a great library from Cake Lab (WPI) called ARFlow. It’s a thin client built on Unity’s ARFoundation that connects over gRPC to a server running Rerun for live data logging. I forked it to: - Log the SLAM translation poses, and - Upgrade rerun to v0.23 for my use case. So far, it works well, but there are still a few hitches: 1. Right now, it’s solid on iPhone and iPad; my Quest 3 client is still slow and not super reliable. 2. I’m using an older ARFlow branch focused on real-time streaming only—no spatial or temporal sync yet. Unity builds for iOS keep failing. 🛠️ 3. Nothing is saved locally to the client, so packet loss is a risk on shaky networks. There’s huge potential in tapping the ubiquitous sensors we carry around every day, and ARFlow is a big step toward making that easyshow more

Unfortunately he won't take the room for 5 days... because as he puts it, it's not permanent and he believes he will be back on the streets afterwards as it's happened to him previously he tells me. I've tried my hardest to reassure him that I won't let that happen but he says he's been let down so many times before that he just doesn't believe it and is happy where he is until I can find him a permanent room in a shared house I've spoken with him long and hard over the last week and I've come to the conclusion based on everything he's told me and my research that he's not a British army veteran with a service number he talks of being a mercenary part of the 13 commandos part of the French foreign legion and has the cap badge on his hat. What I do know is he's a 59 year old man with health problems but no drug or alcohol problems that is living in a tent in wasteland. My level of support hasn't changed he shouldn't be in wasteland in a tent rotting away with no family no support in 2025 I'm going to try my hardest this week to secure a room in a shared house the 5 night stay at the guest house is non refundable but it is what it is I just wanted to make sure he woke up on his 60th birthday in a better place. We tried our hardest but it doesn't always work out how you planned it in your head. Agents: Quick thoughts & questions on how they operate,... their potential, and their limitations A Few Observations - ▶️"Book me a hotel" or "pull historical financials" are already (mostly) solved problems!! Agents can do a ton of tasks right now—like parsing public company press releases and navigating capture key info & complete bookings accurately. However, for more complex navigation flows, the tech still needs some work - but I'm very confident it’s essentially a solved or solvable challenge. ▶️Accuracy & Speed - The key metrics and agents should optimize for. ▶️Lower Build & Migration Costs It took me two minutes to build a new website (link: This is great for consumers—more choices, lower switching costs. Companies will increasingly compete on the quality of their products and services. ▶️Agents vs. Automation tools: The more I think about it, the more I realize that most “agents” are really just automation tools—kind of like how most robots🤖 are just machines lol ❓A Few Key Questions—Would Love Your Thoughts! ❔Remote Servers & Logins In many cases, we’ll want agents to act on our behalf (e.g., log in to to cancel an order). How will platforms like respond? Many websites may block remote servers for security. Is there a technical workaround? ❔Agent Generalization Do we need to train agents on each environment separately, or can one solution handle multiple sites and systems? This seems similar to RL/post-training challenges in AI research. Example: It's unclear to me whether $Devin was specifically trained on environment? ❔Frontend vs. Backend infra for agents to run on I had doubts about Anthropic's "Computer Use" feature, which seemed to run on the frontend, basically remotely controlling my computer so I couldn’t use it at the same time. This should deliver the highest accuracy, but it’s questionable how practical it really is. (Ref: It seems def possible for agents to work quietly “in the background” (like Devin) rather than remotely controlling a user’s PC, but how much accuracy are we sacrificing? A few $Devin test cases that got me thinking: 1⃣Pulling $META's MAU and DAU (1Q21–3Q24) into Excel (video attached) Took Devin 11min - it sent me back an Excel with 100% accurate data. This case was pretty tricky because $Meta changed disclosures and stopped reporting MAU/DAU after 4Q23. Devin didn’t hallucinate data for post-4Q23—it simply didn’t provide it! It really shocked me to see $Devin navigating $Meta's investor relations site (I didn't tell it to find the numbers there), opening each quarterly earnings report, and extracting MAU/DAU like a diligent intern. -> This confirms $Devin (and similar agents) can already accurately “read” screens. 2⃣Booking Hotel (video attached) Devin took 5 minutes to book the InterContinental NYC on after asking for my credentials. From $Devin's workspace, I could see it filling in the correct fields and making the right selections—fast and accurate overall. Interestingly, $Devin didn’t supply all the required information on the first attempt and got some error messages, then retried until it succeeded. It’s unclear whether Devin had been specifically trained on interface or simply learned to adapt on the fly. 3⃣Canceling the Booking This part was even more interesting. While booking didn’t require me to log in, canceling did—so $Devin had to access my (likely via a remote server) account using my Gmail credentials. It successfully canceled the reservation. I wonder how websites will handle future “remote” logins. Notably, Google blocked $Devin’s direct attempts to log in to Gmail when I specifically requested it. 4⃣Booking from Official Hotel Sites I asked Devin to book InterContinental NYC and Four Seasons Boston via their official websites. It made progress but encountered technical hiccups when trying to select the check-in/check-out dates. Insights from Scott Wu on Invest Like the Best: 1/ Self-Driving Cars as the First “Real Agents” Driving requires near-perfect accuracy (99.999%), making it much more demanding than digital or coding agents, which can tolerate more errors. Scott compares $Devin to circa 2014—already good enough to save 90% of your effort, but still short of flawless. 2/ Impact on Collaboration Platforms Tools like Slack and GitLab are likely to see major changes as agents begin to interact with and utilize them along with humans. 2025 should be all about agents - both the disruptors and those they disrupt!show more

Please repost if so inclined: In the clip below from today’s Dan Bongino montage of Comey, the corrupt former FBI Director who caused chaos with the Russia Collusion Hoax, he unilaterally cleared HRC for mishandling classified materials and destroying evidence before the 2016 election. During this Press Conference I was at the FBI office with my agents working on a cartel prosecution. We all stopped to watch with amazement as Comey was initially eviscerating HRC’s unlawful conduct, but as we all now know he eventually stated “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case!” I remember turning towards my agents and saying “well, I guess I’m an unreasonable Prosecutor . . .” I knew in that moment at my deepest core, based on years of prosecutorial experience and instinct in federal law enforcement, that the reason Comey cleared HRC had nothing to do with the prosecutability of that fact pattern - it was political interference in its most corrupt form. And here’s why. Comey had NO authority to decline prosecution. At the end of the day, he was “just a cop” so to speak. His ONLY authority was to turn the investigation over to the DOJ which has sole discretion on who to prosecute, or not. He can make a recommendation, but not a decision to not prosecute, especially based on the reason stated. That’s why this will go down as one of the most embarrassing and demoralizing moments in FBI history. My agents were crushed. They knew what just happened as much as I did. This man stepped out of his lane to cover and protect a politician, while at the same time, without any of us knowing in that moment, he was also beginning the years long political assasination of Trump in what later became the Russia Hoax.show more

Officially moving on from Tech game after I get... this thought off my chest. I more than welcome anyone smarter than me in regards to the football to chime in. I truly, truly, truly cannot wrap my head around the thought process here. These two plays I'm sure anyone with brain can agree officially sealed KU's slim chances in having a chance to win this game. The play calling to me seems like completely flipped in logic at best? First one, you are down 4, on your own 30 so you are not going to go for this. Ignoring that we were getting dominated in the trenches in this game and that the 'obvious' play is a run, I don't get why we make the decision in a must get spot to take the ball out of our QB's (who at the time was rolling) hands. Jalon Daniels is our best player. In an absolute must get/need, we should be relying on him to make a play. Then the second one. I obviously don't know the answer here, but I feel somewhat confident that the reason we didn't run here was because of how the earlier 3rd & 1 run went. While I don't necessarily agree with the premise of decision making on this alone, I can appreciate the recognition that we are going to struggle to gain a yard in an obvious run situation. But the thing is, we are in go for it range so the one thing you absolutely cannot have is a massive negative play. Literally anything else is okay (obviously not a turnover). I truly don't think there's a good chance we run the ball on this attempt and get a yard. But THIS situation gives you a free shot at it if you want to take it. I think this play call would have worked if we didn't let their best player run at our qb freely but I'd just argue this play had a ton of potential risk that wasn't necessary. Hell even a play action pass out of out shot gun or something rolling JD out to the left would have given us a good shot at first down with an escape route to bail out on the play if something went wrong. I'm once again for the millionth time saying I know and understand that this entire staff knows more about football in their pinky than I do. But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. Look at how American children live! I filmed this... on my way home from New York City after attending the World Falun Dafa Day parade a few days ago. I happened to get stuck behind a school bus, which kept stopping and delayed me quite a bit — but it also gave me a chance to closely observe the happy lives of these children. As you can see, the school bus drops each child off right at their home. Sometimes two houses are only five or ten meters apart, yet the bus still stops separately for each family. It doesn’t try to save time by dropping the children somewhere in between and making them walk home on their own. Around the 10-second mark in the video, you can see a small child get off the bus and cross the street to go home. That’s why in the United States, whenever a school bus stops, not only must all the cars behind it stop, but even the cars coming from the opposite direction must stop as well — all to ensure children can cross the road safely. I filmed both of these clips from inside my car. I was quite amazed that day, but I hadn’t had time to share them until now. Today I finally wanted to show everyone. This is what a society built for people looks like! And compare American children's lives with those of Chinese children!
