🚨 IVERMECTIN and FENBENDAZOLE Testimonial 53-Year-Old Utah Woman with... Stage 4 Breast Cancer Reaches Remission in 11 Months Trigger Warning: No chemotherapy, no immunotherapy, no targeted therapy, and no hormone therapy. Only palliative radiation was used on a few painful bone spots before starting the alternative protocol. A 53-year-old woman from Utah was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer. For 11 months, she followed this protocol: • Ivermectin: 60 mg/day (~1 mg/kg) • Fenbendazole: 222 mg with MCT oil or other healthy fats (5 days on, 2 days off) • Ketogenic diet For the complete protocol, refer to the source. “Thank you for your vocal endorsement of alternative cancer treatments. It is partly because of your voice that a friend/patient has achieved these results.” “She had Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and, within 11 months, was essentially cancer-free based on her PET scan.” “Her results are almost miraculous.” No chemotherapy. 🚨 “SIX MONTHS TO LIVE.” THEN HER 90-DAY IVERMECTIN... + FENBENDAZOLE STORY TOOK A DRAMATIC TURN Irene was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. She was reportedly given only six months to live. With little hope left, she reached out for help. What followed was a 90-day journey involving Ivermectin + Fenbendazole, strong family support, and a follow-up CT scan that, according to the story, produced an extraordinary result. 📃 THE 90-DAY PROTOCOL She was reportedly recommended a 90-day protocol that included: 💊 Ivermectin 💊 Fenbendazole With strong support from her family, she followed the plan consistently. Every step. Every day. For 90 days. No shortcuts. 📊 THEN CAME THE CT SCAN After completing the protocol, her husband encouraged her to get a CT scan. According to the testimonial, that scan reportedly changed everything. Her oncologist reportedly confirmed: 📊 No Evidence of Disease (NED) 📄 “CANCER-FREE” ❤️ FROM “SIX MONTHS” TO ENJOYING LIFE AGAIN Today, Irene is described in the story as healthy and strong, enjoying life with her family again. For supporters of repurposed-medicine research, stories like this are powerful because they raise an obvious question: What happened? Could an outcome like this potentially tell researchers something worth investigating? ⚡ BUT THERE'S AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION This is a testimonial, not clinical evidence. Individual cancer stories cannot establish that Ivermectin or Fenbendazole caused the reported outcome. Critics correctly point out that controlled clinical studies are needed to determine whether these medicines have meaningful effects in cancer. Still, stories like Irene's continue to circulate online and generate intense discussion. And one thing remains consistent across these conversations: When people hear “Stage IV cancer” and “six months to live”... They don't stop searching. They start exploring every possible option. That's why discussions around repurposed medicines continue to grow worldwide. ❓ THE QUESTION THIS STORY LEAVES BEHIND If a reported 90-day protocol was followed by an NED result, should stories like this be investigated more rigorously in larger clinical trials? That's the conversation worth having. 📌 SAVE & REPOST so others can review the story and draw their own conclusions. 💬 If a 90-day protocol was followed by this reported outcome, do you think it deserves deeper clinical investigation? 💊 If you're looking for Ivermectin or Fenbendazole, explore available options at Dr. David with worldwide delivery. #Ivermectin #Fenbendazole #CancerTestimony #Stage4Cancer #MedicalResearch #RepurposedDrugs #CancerResearchshow more

Dear TikCoin Community, We know that many of you... have been waiting for the listing, and you have every right to do so. For more than a year, we have built this community together. We understand the excitement because we share exactly the same goal. Nobody wants to see TikCoin listed more than we do. Over the past months, we have made tremendous progress. The exchange integrations are almost complete, the required licenses are in place, and in the coming weeks you will see important structural changes as more parts of the project move under official companies and legal entities. We are building TikCoin for the long term, not just for launch day. After many discussions, we have made one difficult decision. If we listed TikCoin today, we believe it would not achieve the value we are working toward. A listing by itself does not create value. A strong market is built on demand, utility, and millions of people who actually use the ecosystem. Without buyers, there is no healthy market. Without utility, there is no long-term demand. Without demand, no cryptocurrency can reach its true potential. That is exactly why TikOS is so important. TikOS will launch this month and will transform TikCoin into much more than a mining app. It will become a social platform that people actually use every day. Instead of only attracting miners, we will attract creators, communities, and everyday social media users. Immediately after the TikOS launch, we will begin a major marketing campaign together with influencers who will introduce TikCoin to millions of new people. Our goal is to create real demand before the listing so TikCoin enters the market with momentum instead of relying only on speculation. Because of this, we have decided to move the listing date from October 10 (10.10) to December 12 (12.12). We know this is disappointing for some of you. But we would rather delay the listing by two months than spend years regretting that we rushed it. Please remember: Nobody is forced to stay. Every person must decide for themselves what they believe in. We respect every decision. But if you believe in the vision of TikCoin, then these next two months are the most important part of our journey. The good news is that supporting the project is incredibly simple. You don’t need to spend money, and you don’t need to watch advertisements if you don’t want to. Simply open the app once a day and activate your mining session. That’s enough to remain part of the journey. Watching ads for additional bonuses is completely optional. Two months may sound like a long time, but after everything we have built together over the past year, they will pass quickly. Look at how far we’ve already come. From a simple idea… to a global community… to hundreds of thousands of users… to exchange integrations… to licenses… to simplest KYC... to TiKChain... to fastest Blockchain... to TikWallet… and now to the launch of TikOS. Every milestone that many people once thought was impossible has become reality. That is why we remain confident about the future. We are not building hype we are building an ecosystem. We know TikCoin is different. Our mission has never been to create another coin that appears on an exchange and disappears a few weeks later. Our mission is to build something that people actually use, because real usage creates real demand, and real demand is what creates long-term value. These next two months are incredibly important. This is the time to stay united, stay patient, and continue building together. The stronger our community is before the listing, the stronger TikCoin will be after the listing. Thank you for your patience, your trust, and your belief in this project.show more

"PRICE IS WHAT YOU PAY. VALUE IS WHAT YOU... GET." I keep buying $Kekec and I have a strong conviction. Here's Why: While the market is down, and Kekec is declining with it, there are data points that few are considering. Kekec borned in October and since then has been posting a different and original 30-second video every day, which I find extremely funny. For the past couple of months, they have also been posting daily on Instagram, and the attention on Kekec (which doesn't present itself on social media as a memecoin) is growing, moreover, it's increasing exponentially. The number of followers is increasing by about 500-1000 a day. This is largely due to the fact that they are not just focused on the main account but have several others that post reels and redirect to the main one. In short, an excellent strategy to keep growing more and more. Instagram link: Guess What? Not only are the followers increasing, but the team's workload is also growing. In fact, for a little over a month, they have also started pushing on YouTube, and the data here is promising as well. YouTube link: If we want to make a comparison, we can take Pudgy Penguins as an example, which has shown it can reach millions and millions of users without mentioning that they are a WEB3 company that owns an NFT collection. Or, if we want to be more appropriate by comparing one memecoin to another, we could take PONKE. Thanks to the use of social media and the quality of their content, they managed to achieve incredible numbers, which then translated into an increase in the coin's price. Kekec came before PONKE, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better than PONKE. I believe PONKE is unbeatable in terms of content, but I want to make you reflect on an important point. PONKE came after KEKEC, and after PONKE's success, many coins have emerged trying to imitate it. One of KEKEC's strengths, in my opinion, is precisely the fact that it leverages social media without being a copy-paste. Instead, it is a unique meme derived from a 90's film, and it uses a unique form of content. In short, KEKEC > KEKEC and no one else. I want to conclude by suggesting you follow them on Instagram and evaluate not only the exponential growth of their followers day by day but also observe how the views of each reel increase accordingly. Pay special attention to the comments. Many of the people commenting have no idea what it is, and you can see from the comments how Kekec generates particular emotions in people—strange but still emotions. Personally, I believe that when something is unique and even very strange, it needs time to be adopted. However, once it happens, it usually explodes and spreads like never before. A few days ago, a Kekec video was posted by a very popular meme page. They probably don't know what Kekec is about but thought the video could spark interest among their followers. How many other pages will do the same? Lastly, but not least, I want to point out how Kekec maintains a good market cap despite everything that has happened in the crypto world since October 2023. As far as I know and have personally observed, everything is extremely organic. There is no cabal behind it, and the quality is not reflected in a single jpeg but in work that has been ongoing daily for months. Every day they work harder, and the quality of their videos grows as well. I have no affiliations with the team, but I believe that Kekec truly deserves more in this world where we push celebrity or cabal-backed coins to hundreds of millions in market cap. I keep buying because the numbers suggest so. Don't just evaluate the chart (price), evaluate the data (value). BÂLKÂN DWÂRFshow more

IRAN: What about China and Russia? Certainly they’re not... going to provide much kinetic support, but they do not want to see the regime fall. Are either of them providing any support? Israel has secured protection from both the Americans and the Russians, yet it remains poorly regarded by the Chinese. The Russians delivered MiG-29s, some EW systems, and a few helicopters, but to this day, they are postponing the delivery of more modern aircraft. Tel Aviv and Moscow maintain a very strong connection forged by the Soviet diaspora; today, roughly 20% of Israeli households speak Russian. The Chinese, for their part, have raised suspicions regarding the supply of radars and intelligence, but they are proven to be using satellites to photograph and publicly expose American military assets online - a clear demonstration of their involvement and power. This means that, unlike during the 12-day war, Iranian forces will now have direct satellite support. Ironically or not, China’s role in intelligence with Iran appears to mirror exactly the U.S. role with Ukraine. Regarding rumors of Iran receiving S-400s, there is zero evidence of this, and based on Putin’s statements, I do not believe they will proceed. Similarly, there is no visual evidence that the Chinese have provided long-range HQ-9B surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems or YLC-8B radars to Iran. Personally I believe it is possible that radars were delivered, though there is no confirmation. To date, there is no evidence of any Chinese cargo planes landing in Iran over the last few months. Most of the material delivered comes via Mahan Air Boeing 747s. There were also Cargolux flights, but those were also Boeing 747s, and for an HQ-9B system to be delivered, a much larger military airlifter would be required. Above all, these long-range defense systems would have been commissioned and showcased as a deterrent in a country on the brink of being attacked, which has not happened. However, Iran has invested heavily in revamping its own systems, as I reported previously. The Chinese also maintain a very close relationship with the UAE and the Saudis which, similar to the Russian position, limits the extent of massive support for Iran. Iran finds itself in a situation where its two main allies do not hesitate to provide political and intelligence support but remain reticent regarding direct military equipment. Nonetheless, this is a situation Iran has been used to for years, and it has been the primary driver for the development of its own military ecosystem.show more

5-Month Methylene Blue Update I've been taking Methylene Blue... since October and I wanted to reflect on the first 5 months with it. I’ve been micro-dosing to experience the mental benefits, so usually 3-5 drops. In the first couple months the effects were truly mind-blowing. The cognitive enhancements felt like magic. My focus became laser-sharp, and my memory was spot-on, especially my visual recall. The enhancement of my mental-visual abilities was the most amazing change. I've always been a very visual person. If I had an idea, I could picture it much easier than I could explain it. Methylene Blue increased that ability tenfold. Verbalizing my thoughts became much easier as well. Methylene Blue is certainly a verbal lubricant; my words would flow off the tongue almost effortlessly (in a good way). So, 5 months in, those skills are still heightened, but the dramatics have worn off since I'm now used to these "Super Abilities" It's remarkable that I never felt like my cognitive abilities would decline if I missed a few days of Methylene Blue. The mental benefits were long-lasting. Methylene Blue is great to cycle on and off since the effects last. The thing that still feels like magic to this day is the motivation I get from a dose of Methylene Blue before a workout. The feeling I get from a large glass of water with honey or maple syrup, Himalayan salt, and Methylene Blue is pure drive. Drive, motivation, inspiration, and feeling like I can take on the world are what the above elixir provides. Not to be confused with energy like caffeine would give, it's a much deeper feeling of drive. It instills a mindset shift of "I'm going to do what I came here to do." Truly a life changing substance and I’m so glad I tried it. I’m happy I am learning about it so I can teach my friends and family about MB. I think everyone that can should be experiencing the laundry list of benefits from Methylene Blue. Check the first comment for helpful links. 15% off and a tool to search potential interactions. I lost one cat to cancer. Nearly lost another... to diabetes. My purebred lab was constantly sick with allergies and infections. All three were eating "premium" pet food recommended by vets. Here's everything I wish I'd learned sooner: 1. Feed them a clean, low-carb diet. Our diabetic cat used to be addicted to high-carb treats and food, the stuff sold in most pet stores. It’s the pet version living on Pop-Tarts and Twinkies for us. After switching to a low-carb, high-protein diet, she no longer needed insulin and lived a long, healthy life. A raw carnivore diet from clean sources free of pesticides and antibiotics is arguably best for both cats and dogs. 2. Only feed them two meals per day. We made the mistake of leaving food out for our cats all day. I’m sure our younger cat (that died of cancer) was metabolically damaged from this. Neutering him too early also negatively affected his health, as he developed a pot belly soon after. Time-restricted eating benefits humans and animals alike. So, aim for an 8-hour feeding window or less. Don't feed them 3 hours before bed or 1 hour after waking, then gradually shrink the window. You'll notice more energy in yourself and healthier weight and digestion in your pets. 3. Only give them pure, clean water. We gave our cats tap water for years. While chlorine dissipates quickly, chemical residues, heavy metals, and hormones remain. Reverse osmosis or spring water proved to be the best. You can remineralize RO water with products like this: (ad) 4. Detoxify Pets are exposed to more toxins than we are. Their food is loaded with pesticides, antibiotics, and heavy metals. Artificial fragrances, chemical cleaners, and lawn pesticides add even more toxic stress. Like I emphasize in my book, “Ultimate Health,” constipation is the first thing to address in detoxification. The same goes for pets. If their bowel movements are strained, this needs to be improved. Increasing their hydration and fiber intake can help, as can fish oil and probiotics. To get a full colon detox protocol for yourself, get the first chapter of my book free here: For deeper detox, use modified citrus pectin because it enters the bloodstream rather than just the gut. Mix into tuna juice, bone broth, or their water dish away from food. 5. Treat your pets for parasites Parasites are strongly correlated to many diseases, including cancer. There's a great book called "The Cure For All Diseases" that covers this in detail (free PDFs online). Fenbendazole is a popular anti-parasitic that’s routinely helped human cancer patients survive. Fenben is also an over-the-counter pet medication. I wish I’d learned of it before Max passed away from cancer. He was such a loving little guy. For ongoing parasite management, consider mixing diatomaceous earth into your pet’s food. 6. Exercise more Dog walks benefit both of you, especially without your phone. Fetch or tug is their high-intensity interval training. *Side note for cat owners: What's your favorite way to get your furry friend moving? Drop a comment below, I'm interested in trying them out. 7. Give them more affection Affection releases oxytocin in both you and your pet. It improves sleep, mood, stress, pain, and muscle repair. Boost your oxytocin further with techniques from "Super Gut" or this video: 8. Replace LED bulbs with incandescent This one surprises people… I wish I had known years ago how damaging artificial LED lighting is for humans and pets. Natural sunlight and incandescent bulbs keep you both healthy. Follow Dr. Jack Kruse Decentralized Medicine Maxi 🔆 if you want to learn more about this. 9. Watch the sunrise every morning with your pet. Dr. Kruse talks about this constantly. Sunrise has red and infrared wavelengths that heal the brain, eyes, skin, and hormones. Do it for a week, and you'll definitely feel the difference. 10. Remember: what's good for them is usually good for you too. We're mammals. They're mammals. The fundamentals are remarkably similar. Discipline matters. Knowledge matters. Having a purpose and a partner makes change easier. So why not decide that your purpose is for both you and your pet to get healthier? THANK YOU for reading and sharing this with other pet owners. Follow me Craig Brockie for more health strategies that work. (Here are Zeven, Ellewood & Max. The inspiration for this post.)show more

vPay offshore accounts and physical cards have been getting... field-tested IRL for a while now, and we’ll open them to the public as soon as we’re fully confident in the UX. But before offshore accounts go public, I want to address a few points: Some might point out that - vPay isn’t the first crypto card - vPay doesn’t have the lowest fees - So why choose vPay instead of the Coinbase 🛡️ Card or MetaMask 🦊 Card or KAST or or Tria, or any of the other big names? Now to address: Privacy | The biggest differentiator that sets vPay completely apart is Private Banking. The majority of the crypto card providers on the market use Rain infra. Even if you’ve never heard of them, that's what your favorite "NeoBank" uses. And due to their legal jurisdictions, they will report your finances to authorities since they're CRS and FACTA compliant. We are not. As an OmniBank, we work with different banking partners, and although KYC is required to use our services, our offshore banks are non-CRS and non-FACTA. Tax reporting is the responsibility and choice of the user. Offshore Accounts vs Physical Cards | I've tried to highlight this a few times so far. vPay has 3 offerings on the banking side of things. Virtual cards - live now. Physical cards - coming Q1 2026. The first two are similar to what everyone else on the market offers. The offshore accounts are not. which are coming this week. They allow unlimited spending, ATM withdrawals, and international SWIFT transfers, which very few “Neobanks” provide. Offshore accounts are coming this week. Self-Custody | We're not 100% non-custodial yet, as that is near impossible at the moment but it's something we're working towards. And we try to keep the users' self-custodial wallets in the loop as much as possible for maximum control. Those who have tried the vPay app know that almost every move asks for permission from their wallet, and we always encourage users to keep their funds in their non-custodial wallets until the very last moment, since our top-ups usually only take seconds to a minute to process. Fees | All of the card providers mentioned above either raised millions from VCs or in presales or have a huge org backing them. We have neither. vPay was self-funded and community-owned since day 1, launched under Virtuals Protocol Genesis V1 launch model, an objectively bad launch model and hugely unfavorable toward project teams. So even though vPay has been generating revenue and profitable from early on, we do not have the luxury of offering 0% fees yet, since they're mostly a marketing gimmick paid for by millions in VC money and not a sustainable business model for early-stage companies. What we're working towards instead, is true co-ownership of vPay and revenue-share with users. OmniBank vs NeoBank | I’m not a fan of the term “NeoBank.” It implies just a bank, but make it crypto. That’s not vPay. Our goals have always been clear: A) Anything and everything users need to do with their money and assets, both Web2 and Web3, all in one hub. Powered by a constellation of partner agents. The cards and the bank accounts are just the foundation. B) To eventually build independent financial rails for crypto and decouple from the chokehold of Visa/Mastercard. vLink is the first step toward this vision. This turned out to be a rather long tweet, but context matters. Questions and feedback welcome in replies or DMs. See you all with your vPay vCards very soon.show more

I am sorry, but your understanding of supplements for... hair and skin health is quite wrong. 1/ Multivitamins for health promotion is the biggest myth there is. A multivitamin a day improves health is a promotional gimmick from the wellness industry, health-illiterate influencers and poorly informed doctors. Daily multivitamins give you high-colored expensive urine and long term use increases risk of cancer. See here: 2/ Probiotics are sham treatments except in specific situations. See the WGO 2023 guidelines here: Its use is specific to: ➡️Prevention of antibiotic associated diarrhea. ➡️Shortening duration of acute infectious diarrhea in children by 1 day when given early during course of disease. ➡️Useful for treating "pouchitis" of inflammatory bowel disease. ➡️Reduction in risk of necrotizing enterocolitis in preterm babies. ➡️Using probiotics outside these indications is a waste of your money and time. 3/ Ginseng has no known benefits on the prevention or treatment of any disease condition known to humans. Many of the published randomized controlled trials on Asian ginseng may not be high-quality studies. Ginseng can also interact with your standard medicines and increase toxicity or reduce benefits. See here please: 4/ Omega-3 fatty acids. The only use identified from large quality studies and metanalysis is for treatment of high triglycerides and lowering of non-HDL lipid fractions. Please see this highest quality of evidence: Omega-3 does nothing as mentioned in the video. 5/ Collagen for wrinkles and fine lines, prevention of "aging" and improving "skin health" is actually a myth. Large metanalysis from 2021 showed improvement in skin elasticity and reduction in wrinkles. This one here: But, this metanalysis was done poorly. A rebuttal letter showed that conclusive benefits of collagen on skin health did not actually exist when reanalysed from proper statistical methodology - see here: Collagen will waste your money. 6/ Biotin for hair and nails. I am sorry to burst your bubble, because I know many of you are on this supplement, but it does not work. It is a waste of money. The American Academy of Dermatology Association states that biotin supplementation has no benefits on hair growth/loss or nail health. See here: Moreover, a recent review does not even mention biotin being useful in hair loss. See here: Instagram is full of these overgrown Amul-babies who have absolutely no idea about the science of healthcare or value the role of empirical evidence in advising healthcare options. Do not fall for such people or their garbage handles. And frankly, I think the guy in the video has just about average hair and skin. Not worthy of second-looks even with all that bottled stuff going in.show more

I FIND GREATER BUSHENYI TO BE INCREDIBLE! KAMPALA SACCOS... MAY WANT TO MAKE STUDY TOURS HERE Over this Easter holiday in Bushenyi, I was hoping to find some time to write a more formal piece on law. Instead, as you can see in these clips, Kabagareme, the booming Saturday meat market got in the way. You will never find a better meal, a better price and the extra satisfaction of actually supporting the local people’s “hustle” Deeply satisfying on all fronts. Kabagarame is yet another example of the high levels of civic awareness and organization of the people here. Apart from always being well represented in National since independence, Bushenyi has achieved social-economic transformation through embracing formal education very early on. It’s not uncommon to find families with three generations of university graduates here unlike almost anywhere else in Uganda. Most 50-60 year old Ugandans are one generation removed from peasantry. And, I think that Bushenyi’s case is not the case of the “diploma disease” that afflicts Uganda, generally. There’s a big difference between papers and an education. The former, I hear, you can buy at Nasser road, the latter, you cannot. It must translate in the way you think and live. The people here for example, organized their land holding as early as the 1960s when most land here got surveyed and titled. Elsewhere, land fragmentation, disorder, disputes and violence still block economic progress. Access to credit for example, is much easier when you have titled land. The per capita income here is even by visual estimation only, high. Generally, every household has a combination of any of the following crops; coffee, tea and bananas or all three. They will generally keep at least a few crossbred cows. Each of those is a cash crop in its own right. I have never seen a grass thatched house here. Especially tea factories dot the magically beautiful green hills along with several schools whose performance in the National exam, a National obsession, is among the very best in the country. The stretch between Kyamuhunga and Kasese covering the present day Rubirizi and Bunyarunguru districts is perhaps, the most beautiful part of Uganda. It spots the beautiful magical twin crater lakes of Kyema and Kamweru (“Africa”), the Kazinga channel, lakes Edward and George. One can have the breathtaking, sweeping panoramic views of Queen Elizabeth National park, Mountain Rwenzori, and all aforesaid lakes, atop the West arm of the great East Africa rift valley. There are so many hotels in Bunyaruguru of which Kyangabi Crater Resort has always been my favorite. Although, it has to be said, the views are at King Fisher Lodge. The big revelation to me this holiday however is how well the SACCOS here seem to be doing. I took interest in taking a closer look at upcountry SACCOS from my friend Muhimbise Atiki and Kakande Alex ‘s recent analysis of Y-SAVE’s no dividend in two years situation. From anecdotal evidence, the biggest SACCOS here include Kyamuhunga, Mushanga and Muhame. At least two of these SACCOS have a loan portfolio of ugx. 50BN each! Today, one declared and gave dividends. SACCOS might be the local solution that has been brewing to building local capital. SACCOS might also finally break the back of the trust deficit and therefore high risk that underbelly Uganda borrowing resulting in high interest rates. Kampala SACCOS may, after putting down The Intelligent Investor, need to come here for a practical education. There’s a lot to admire and learn.show more

Today is September 9. It is Day 193 of... Trump's "2-3 week war" to overthrow Iran's government and send Iran "back to the stone age" that started on February 28. Today, after carrying out three different attacks on American military infrastructure without the U.S. responding, Iran launched a massive retaliatory attack on U.S. bases in Jordan with 30-40 ballistic missiles in response to U.S. attacks on Iranian oil tankers. Despite false claims by CENTCOM, the Strait of Hormuz remains largely impassable due to the actions of the IRGC Navy, which Trump claims to have completely destroyed. American gas prices remain at an all-time high for this war as a result. Most/all Iranian missile bases remain fully functional, and only a few of Iran's hundreds of ballistic missile launchers have been targeted by U.S. airstrikes in the last few months. Iran retains thousands of ballistic missiles in their underground cities. America's interceptor stockpiles are becoming more and more critically low as days go by - a trend that is only being worsened for them after they launched over 100 Patriot PAC-2/3 interceptors during today's Iranian attack. The Iranian government and military command structure remains firmly in place, and there are no signs of cracks within their chain of command or inner circles. This was has exposed America's weaknesses for the entire world to see, and they aren't even fighting a great power like Russia or China, but rather a middling/regional power. America's remaining reputation on the international stage is now extremely tarnished, and even their allies are beginning to turn towards China as a more reliable trading partner. I can say that as someone in New Zealand, while my country has historically been one of, if not the most politically "anti-American" western countries in the world, any confidence or trust in the U.S. here has completely collapsed, as we now view them as an imperialist joke. More people here view China as a "friend" compared to the U.S. for the first time ever. I can imagine other countries are experiencing a similar phenomenon.show more

Shared from Dominique de Silva on Instagram 🙏😔 March... 18th, 2021 is the day that I made a decision that flipped my entire world upside down. I’ve been EXTREMELY quiet about this decision and the adverse effects that it has caused me simply because I didn’t want to scare anyone out of making their own decision on receiving the vax.. With all this being said, I made the decision to get my vax before I left Las Vegas to move back to my home state of North Carolina because I wanted to play it safe and make sure those around me weren’t in harms way. I also do have underlying autoimmune issues which I have openly talked about for a while now. I’m not ashamed of why I received the vax because I know my heart was in a good place and my intentions were pure..and yet here I am struggling with adverse side effects from this life changing decision. Doctors have been pretty lost on what exactly is going on..running multiple tests, medical imaging and neurological exams coming back with no answers.. Here’s just a glimpse of what I’ve been dealing with- Symptoms that come and go: Dystonia Difficulty walking and weakness within the legs Dull aching & sharp shooting pains within the legs Vertigo Heart palpitations Lack of sensation throughout the body Cold sensation in the legs Pain behind the eyes Tremor in right hand Symptoms that are 24/7: Short term memory loss Trouble forming sentences Feeling out of body Depth perception is off Visual Changes Severe brain fog I am not sharing this post to scare anyone out of making their own decision, however I do believe that people must know exactly what the risks are. These stories shouldn’t be so hidden on social media platforms or the news and I’m done being so quiet about this.. If there is anyone out there that is experiencing something similar don’t be afraid to let your voice be heard. Please share!!! I can use all the insight and help I can get right nowshow more

Since my account is somewhat anonymous I’m going to... disclose where some of the California high-speed rail money gets wasted. 99% of you don’t realize where giant chunks of the money is disappearing to. The California high-speed rail authority, literally owns thousands of parcels of land that are in various stages continued litigation, tenant improvements, eviction, and constant maintenance. For example, there are many homes and apartment complexes in the plant path that have been purchased years ahead of construction. Removing those tenants is a slow and expensive process. (let’s ignore the extra stress on housing that all of these destroyed properties are causing) In some cases, these are low rent apartments with a lengthy eviction process During that process, the state of California is the landlord and has to maintain the property codes the same as any other landlord. This means repairs, adding smoke detectors, fixing roofs, vegetation management, landscaping, paying off tenants to leave early, boarding up Windows, constant trash cleanups, towing vehicles etc. But the High Speed Rail Authority doesn’t just have to maintain these properties at normal cost. Every single bit of that work has to be done at California prevailing wage rates. The work can only be done through qualified contractors that have passed through a long series of idiotic mazes to qualify to perform the work. An average rate per hour (charge rate) for a worker to perform any service on these properties is approximately $200 an hour for labor only. The cost go up for specialized work, like electricians, plumbers, or machine operators. Properties that are literally worthless are being maintained at huge expense just so the next round of homeless transients can break into the property and cause more damage. For reasons I can’t explain, the process to finally demo and remove the structures takes years. I’m only mentioning the tip of the iceberg regarding my firsthand knowledge. Completely separate from those outlandish costs are the inflation caused by the construction. The prevailing word on the street is that nothing is getting done. The truth is that a lot is getting done and none of it efficiently. The amount of concrete being poured daily and monthly to build gigantic overpasses for both the rail and roadways is not understood. In these work areas, every concrete mixing company is fully scheduled out and cannot offer building materials for other basic services such as building a house often times for weeks when the average lead time for many of these services used to be one day. And that’s just the schedule, never mind the huge cost increases from straining the supply chain and Labor pool. The amount of concrete and steel that has gone into the structures so far is massive. Dozens and dozens of new water wells have been dug just for dust control. Thousands upon thousands of acres of highly productive tree fruits and nuts have been torn up and shredded. Utility scale solar fields have been uprooted and sometimes relocated at extravagant costs. Every type of business you can imagine has gone through either a closure, relocation, or a long-term tenant agreement with the rail authority. In some cases, it’s just a buyout where the business closes its doors forever. The owners get something all of the workers get nothing. Don’t get me started on how thick the layers of bureaucracy are for these minute tasks that occur on all of these properties. The inefficiency is far beyond your wildest dreams. In many cases, this is not related to fraud in any way it’s just absolute ignorance, red tape, and failed leadership. I can go much deeper into specific examples, but I think that gives some of you an idea of what’s actually happening in California. If a rail is ever usable, some portions of the structures will be decades old and already in disrepair.show more

over the weekend, i built an app that i... sincerely hope you will never have a need for, but if you do happen to need a friendly, free, private mri viewer designed to make it easy for you to track tumor progression, you can try it here: here's the story: as some of you may know, last last september, my six year old daughter mira was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor called an adamatinomatous craniopharyngioma, and since then our family has been doing everything we can possibly do to find a cure for her. we tortured chatgpt deep research, put together our own private research team, raised $1.4M and donated it all to Hankinson-Mitra Lab research thanks to $MIRA, explored every remotely applicable drug whether on the market or not, and even began working with md anderson to develop a personalized vaccine that we hope can lead to a more permanent cure unfortunately, we received the devastating news last march that the tumor has continued to grow since her initial surgery, and we had to start to consider more drastic options which would have seriously impacted mira’s quality of life. thankfully, with the help of dr. sabine mueller UCSF Benioff SF and the Hankinson-Mitra Lab at the university of colorado, in april, we started her on an alternative but extremely experimental treatment for this disease. to our unimaginable relief, her tumor has responded extraordinarily well to this treatment which combines tocilizumab (an arthritis drug that blocks IL6 receptors) with avastin (a colon cancer drug that inhibhits VEGF proteins). we know this, because mira gets an MRI scan of her brain every few months. and every time we get a new scan, the first thing we do is compare it against her last scan. so we have to find the matching weight of the scan, and then find the same plane, and then carefully find the slices of the scan where the tumor is visible, and then find the closest match to last month’s scan, then adjust the zoom, rotation, and brightness / contrast so they all look the same. we got pretty good at this. but it shouldn't be this hard. so i built last weekend using gemini 3 with some gpt 5.2 xhigh. you just import your DICOM MRI files (either zip, files or a folder), and you can align all of your scans across multiple dates instantly, just click and drag a rectangle around the tumor on any image, and it will use some very clever algorithms to automatically align up and find the closest matching slice from all your other scans, match the brightness / contrast, rotation, pan, zoom, and even shear to make sure the registration is as close as possible, and make it as easy to possible to compare tumor progression. it has a grid view so you can see all your scans for the same location all at once, and an overlay view so you can quickly compare two scans visually (by holding down the space bar to toggle quickly between two scans), along with tools to animate your scans both within the same sequence as well as over multiple scans to show progression. there is no server, it runs entirely locally on your browser - nothing ever gets uploaded and it's all open source: if you've found this useful, please consider a donation to the UCSF Benioff SF hospital foundation, who has given us extraordinary care over the past year or so:show more

🇬🇧 The British Nlaw Anti Tank Missile: An unsung... hero of the full scale invasion of Ukraine 🇺🇦 There are many factors for Ukraine's survival, many vital factors that led to success. Here is just one of them. Two and a half months after the Full scale invasion started, Ukrainian military officials had claimed the Nlaw anti tank was responsible for 40% of destroyed Russian armour in Ukraine. The NLAW is a British-designed and commissioned system, developed to UK specifications and manufactured by Sweden’s Saab Bofors Dynamics in partnership with the UK’s Thale Air Defence. It was created to give infantry a lightweight, easy-to-use system capable of defeating modern main battle tanks. The NLAW is a fire-and-forget, shoulder-fired missile that uses Predicted Line of Sight guidance. The operator tracks the moving target for just a few seconds before launch, allowing the system to calculate the target’s speed and direction. Once fired, the missile flies autonomously along that predicted path exploding over the tank directing its explosive evergy downwards where its targets armour is at it's weakest, for Russian tanks, where it also stores it's ammo. On February 10th, 2 weeks before the Full scale invasion. there was an article in the British news publication The Daily Mail. The Title: 'God save the Queen!': Ukrainian troops say British NLAW missiles are a 'game-changer' as they train to fight Russian forces and warn 'crazy' Putin: 'We will kill for our homeland' At this point, the British government had seen troops amassing, and rushed over 2,000 Nlaw units to Ukraine, along with 30 paratroopers to train Ukrainian forces in operating the NLAWs, knowing that if the Russians moved, there would be waves of logisitics and tanks moving in. An Nlaws wet dream. There was notoriety for American Javelins that were delivered after the invasion of Crimea, however at this point, most had been used in skirmishes with Russian ocupiers and only received more units after the full scale invasion. Ben Wallace, who at the time served as Secretary of Defence of the United Kingdom who was nicknamed by Ukrainian officials as 'The Man That Saved Kyiv' for various reasons had previously had seen satalite data, and went to work imediately to push for shipment of the weapons in which by April when it was sited they were responsible for 40% of Russian armour losses, 4,200 units had been delivered by March within 4 weeks of the invasion. Military analysts have since credited the rapid delivery and effectiveness of these British made weapons as a key factor in halting Russia’s initial blitzkrieg style assault. They empowering small units with the ability to take out main battle tanks, the NLAW helped transform Ukraine's defense strategy into a formidable deterrent buying critical time and saving the capital from likely occupation and later serving as a deadly tool for gorilla warfare. Russian tanks were moving in and the signle Ukrainians were taking out armoured tanks on foot with weapons worth 25k-38k USD per unit and weights just 12.5 kg, some were carrying 2 Nlaws on their backs at once. When it came to Nlaws, they were having a fucking field day smashing up anything Russian made of steel. Thank you for reading and if you have enjoyed what I have written, I would appreciate if you share it. - Bricktop I will leave you with these guys, this video was uploaded online within 4 days of the invasion which got me laughing, the guys say: "Muscovite fuckers will be fucked" "I'll set you alight"show more

EXODUS: Help Darren Stallcup Move Out Of San Francisco... After dedicating the best years of my life to save San Francisco, I have made the heartbreaking decision to leave this great beautiful city behind. I did the best that I could every day and I know so many honest good caring San Franciscans out there are hurting just as much as I am and I've met so many of you who desperately want the same healing and recovery for this city that I do... The truth is... the daily chaos, lawlessness and human suffering on our streets are not accidents but a deliberate result of a cruel, sick game engineered by corrupt politicians and non-profits who benefit from the suffering of the less fortunate. I don't hate everyone who votes differently or works in non-profits... there are plenty of decent people trying to help, but far too many bad apples in the Democratic party are working hand-in-hand with these organizations to keep the crisis alive. I'm infuriated by this broken, predatory system that devastates the vulnerable, attacks those trying to help and enriches those who have blood on their hands... all on the taxpayers dime. That's why I'm done playing along and refusing to sacrifice my life to their endless failure. Yet even as I leave, I'll never stop fighting for the less fortunate by demanding secure treatment beds, real enforcement against fentanyl dealers and sober housing that actually saves lives instead of enabling death. I can continue my art, music and citizen journalism in another city that is cleaner, safer and dare I say more friendlier to me, a conservative Patriot who loves our great beautiful country. Day and Night I walked these streets up and down the block, handing out food, clothing and blankets to the less fortunate while listening to their stories. Through citizen journalism, I documented the homeless crisis on the ground, sharing videos and photos to raise awareness. I spoke passionately at City Hall meetings, demanding accountability from leaders who seemed indifferent. I appeared on national and international television to share my story with the world about the fentanyl genocide devastating our city. Today, with a heavy heart, I regret to inform our community that I am relocating to a safer area outside San Francisco. I can no longer tolerate the chaos and stress of day to day survival in this city. It has taken an undeniable toll on my physical, mental and spiritual well being. Our corrupt and incompetent local and state leaders have deliberately enabled chaos on San Francisco's streets, creating a perpetual crisis that funnels billions of taxpayer dollars into the hands of corrupt non-profits and organizations. These entities thrive on the suffering of the less fortunate, profiting from endless contracts for shelters, outreach programs and harm-reduction initiatives that fail to reduce harm or homelessness. Harm reduction is causing more harm. Progressive policy is making everything progressively worse. I am done being a guinea pig in their social experiment. Year after year, billions have been spent, yet the humanitarian crisis has only worsened, with more tents, more overdoses, and more despair. Fentanyl overdoses are on the rise, homelessness numbers are climbing and our public spaces have all but deteriorated, all while the same politicians get elected year after year. It is a calculated system of human suffering and I am done living through the nightmare every single day. I've been documenting the truth about San Francisco's streets for years, but as I prepare to leave for good, this frontline perspective might go with me unless I am able to find a nice small town where I can continue my work from afar. If my story has ever opened your eyes or fueled your fight, I ask you to show love to my journey. My work in our community began with a deep compassion for those suffering on the streets and I poured my energy into helping the homeless directly. My home burned down to the ground, I know what it's like to have nothing and work your way up from rock bottom. Every day, more people overdose and more people show up in San Francisco from all over the country. It's a never ending cycle. I have lost too many family and friends and I refuse to be next. I am profoundly tired of the fentanyl genocide that has turned my once beloved city into a hell hole. I have seen one too many open air drug markets, claiming thousands of lives each year. The drug dealers operating freely, the human feces and needles littering streets and sidewalks, the judges letting the fentanyl dealers out of jail, the fentanyl showing up on playgrounds and in schools, the women giving birth on the sidewalk, the still born babies found in port-o-pottys, the people jumping off of buildings, the people living in the sewers, the non-stop every day looting of our grocery store, the robbery of our local restaurants, the targeting of our mom-and-pop shops, the risk of riding public transportation, the waking up to burglars kicking in my door and fighting them off, the sound of going to sleep to people screaming and waking up to emergency sirens, the billion dollar tech offices and third world conditions across the streets, the constant threat of The Big Earthquake, power outages, infrastructure breakdown, skyrocketing cost of living, it's all become unbearable. Homeless encampments blocking public spaces, the high risk of fentanyl exposure and rampant property crime have eroded any sense of normalcy. Personal safety threats from erratic behavior, boarded-up stores and political hostility weigh heavily on me. I no longer desire or wish to endure these heartbreaking struggles. Building a life for myself, let alone a family, in this decay, is almost impossible. The frustration with leftist policies enabling open drug scenes, health risks from biohazards and store closures reducing access to essentials has taken its toll. I have personally witnessed at least a dozen grocery stores close down and my heart is broken as I wonder if I am slowly living in a food desert because of rampant, unchecked crime. They defunded the police and the judge releases criminals out of jail the next day. I am sick and tired of fighting off the same bad guys every day. The Urban decay is not just in areas like the Tenderloin, SOMA and Union Square, but all over the city. The difficulty in regular social life is noticeable and everybody is on guard making human connection even more challenging unless you are a millionaire. I walk into small businesses, stores and restaurants and all the workers are on edge wondering what chaos will happen that day. Tourists ask me what is happening to the city? All I do is shake my head. This is not the San Francisco I grew up in. My City has become unrecognizable. The Full House Days are long gone and it will take years, if not generations, for San Francisco to recover from all the damage done. Years of frontline activism without any city wide solutions have left me absolutely drained. Every day feels like the same nightmare, repeating the same chaos day after day without end. I don't want my life trapped in this cycle of sirens, screams and unchecked decline. It's time to step away from this chaos. I do not want to die here. The threats to personal safety, the constant exposure to violence and humanitarian crisis has become too much for one lifetime. I shouldn't have PTSD from living in San Francisco, but I do. Honestly, we all have survivor's guilt. I refuse to let this environment claim my future or my dreams. Relocating means saving my health, mental well being, spirituality and opportunity to thrive elsewhere. No more waking up and counting the bodies on the sidewalks or navigating hazards just to live daily life. I deserve a chance to build without the shadow of this humanitarian crisis looming over everything. I've sacrificed my personal health, safety and years of my life on the frontlines for the vulnerable while our local leaders profited from their pain... now, to keep fighting, I have to leave everything behind and start over. If this battle has ever meant something to you, please do consider supporting. As I pursue my American dreams in a new place, I carry the lessons from San Francisco with me forever. I will always cherish the memories and good times. This city will always have a place in my heart. San Francisco is my hometown. I continue advocating for change from afar, but with renewed energy in a safer environment. This move allows me to build a stable life, free from the nightmare that has defined too many years of life. Thank you to all my family and friends that have supported my work, I fought valiantly but now it is time for a tactical retreat. My time in the trenches, on the frontlines are over. I can't believe I made it out alive. Here's to new beginnings and the hope that one day, San Francisco heals.show more

#education FinTwit pushes a myth that you should only... chase breakouts and trending stocks. This works for some, but it is a trap for others. If you are an investor, your goal is building income, not just following momentum. Take $EOSE as an example. It took a 50% haircut after being called the next generational wealth play. Once the hype died, the furus disappeared just like their moms' money. Conviction in a strategy means looking for ways to lower your cost basis through premium collection, not just praying for a price recovery. The results of active management speak for themselves. Here is the breakdown on a position I have been working for the past month: • Initial purchase price: $4.73 • Current effective cost basis: $3.47 • Total cost reduction: 27% • Current core position: +60% I achieved this without selling a single share. This drop came purely from selling calls and puts. I did not take profits, had I, I would have lowered my cost basis more. Instead, I’ll continue to generated income and recycled capital while keeping the entire position intact. Leaving capital available for the next ER drop. And…the mechanics are a lot simpler than most think. Determine your maximum capital for a conviction play. Let’s say you allocate $10,000, use $2,500 for your core position. Use the remaining $7,500 to sell puts or spreads. While the stock consolidates, generate an extra layer by selling calls. High volatility in stocks under $8 is a blessing. High IV means higher premiums for sellers. Bring it in for the real sauce for extra yield ⚠️: • Use a small portion of your unallocated capital on Thursday’s around noon. • Find a juiced ATM or ITM strike. • Buy 100 shares and sell that strike. • If the stock stays over the strike by Friday, the premium is yours and the shares are gone. This creates a 1.2% to 1.7% return on a one day hold. • If the price drops, keep the shares and sell covered calls for the following week to capture another 1.2% to 1.7% • With the goal of having this last shares to be call away. Now for the FuruKiller fact. If you do not want to count this as an ECB reduction, let's talk about yield. I pulled a 26.8% return in one month. Even if the haters say that is luck, let's be generous and cut that in half. Take 13% over a 12 month span, you are looking at over 150% annualized return. That already smokes the market and your average furu. And for the kicker. Over the whole month, I averaged only 63.3% of my rolling capital in use. That is 25% locked in core shares and 31.3% in options strategy. I generated that 26.8% return with 36.7% of my capital sitting on the sidelines. So does chasing stocks that have run 600% make you money, yes, but so does investing in something not in a circle jerk. And it doesn’t have to be in speculative names under $10. I’m doing this with other names as well.show more

🥚 Raw Eggs — They are nature's fast food,... and a complete food, with every nutrient you could need. A raw egg digests in only 27 to 37 minutes, which is phenomenal compared to other foods containing protein and fat, like meat and milk. This is because egg is a fully liquid food. The body doesn't need to use any digestive fluids, hydrochloric acid, to break it down, it will absorb within the first 5 inches of the intestine only, from bacterial digestion alone. Of course, if you cook the egg, this doesn't apply anymore. Cooking not only destroys nutrients, especially enzymes and vitamins, which impairs digestion, and generates toxins, like heterocyclic amines from proteins, and cauterizes the minerals, but it coagulates the egg. This not only makes a raw egg the perfect food to get instant energy in a healthful way, but a vital food that can save someone's life. If your digestive system is so compromised you cannot digest other animal protein, like meat, raw eggs will work. Or if you have leaky gut, they digest before they even have to go through the G.I. tract. In general, if you want to give your digestive system a rest, eat raw eggs, you will get back appetite for other foods very soon. In the next post of this thread is a quote of Aajonus' most incredible testimonial on the healing power of raw eggs. They are also the best food to repair. The only thing that Aajonus found that eggs cannot do is help the body reproduce cells quicker. That takes raw meat. So long-term, you cannot replace raw meat with raw eggs, they work complementarily. Don't discard the egg white. Aajonus proved the avidin in raw egg white is not an anti-nutrient. Aajonus ate up to 60 raw eggs a day (one or two dozens on most days) since 1976. He confirmed there was no biotin deficiency whatsoever. The narrow-minded lab experiments do not explain what actually happen and then draw the wrong conclusion. What actually happens is that biotin mixes with avidin to make a compound that cleans the body of biocarbons, which are leftover byproducts from macronutrient digestion that need to be eliminated by the body. This is actually a good thing. Plus, there is an excess of available biotin in raw egg compared to the amount of avidin. It is also recommended by Aajonus to not eat raw egg yolks alone either, as it creates imbalances when on a raw diet (this doesn't apply on a cooked diet). He did the experiments on animals, feeding them raw egg white and raw egg yolk separately, and it made them extremely hungry, they required twice as much food, had huge imbalances emotionally, caused obesity, water retention, all kinds of problems. So, if you go to a restaurant, you can request the egg white to be included in your steak tartare, just like Aajonus did. What about salmonella? Salmonella is already on our skin, in our eyes, our nose, our mouth, recycling dead cells. They are beneficial bacteria, not pathogenic. Of course, this isn't medical advice. Look into Aajonus and more broadly into terrain theory vs germ theory. Don't refrigerate eggs. Only in the USA do people do this. If you wash the egg, you remove the protective membrane around it, then health departments require them to be refrigerated. Just don't wash the eggs. Eggs are a bit of a fragile food, many of its natural bacteria die when in cold temperatures, so it's better to keep them at room temperatures, or they will lose digestibility. You can blend raw eggs, however it will oxidize them, destroying certain nutrients. There are three enzymes in the egg white which prevent certain hormones that help certain diseases progress like cancer. If you as little as whip the raw egg with a work, these enzymes in the egg white oxidize within seconds. Raw eggs are a detoxification food. They are rich in cholesterol. If you drink alcohol, eat plenty of raw eggs (before, during, after), and you will avoid a hangover. The cholesterol in raw eggs is very good at collecting the alcohol and other toxins. They also enable the body to make solvents to break down toxicity like cellulite. Raw eggs can be fermented, and aged in various ways. Century eggs, the real ones (which are around 25 years old), can cost a thousand dollars. They transform in all sorts of shapes, they can look like green boiled eggs, jewelry, eggs that could belong to a dragon, or turn into white, black powder. They can give incredible energy and libido. How to eat: If you eat the raw egg white first, then the yolk right after, the raw egg will digest in 27 minutes, otherwise in 37 minutes. It is easier to do so from the shell by poking a hole on each side and sucking from it. This is "Aajonus-style". From a glass is "Rocky-style". Nowadays also called slonking. Make the egg go through your teeth while you drink it, this makes it easier to mix it with saliva, which allows better digestion. That only works if you eat only one raw egg at a time. If you eat several raw eggs at once, they will digest slower. Not an issue, it is still extremely healthy. Therefore eating raw eggs frequently throughout the day, one at a time, can bring a steady flow of nutrients to your body. Eggs are perfect to eat upon waking up, providing quick energy from fats and providing protein for the body to make glycogen from and feed the nervous system. They are perfect to eat in-between meals. Only take a couple seconds and get you going for hours, and whenever you get tired. Eggs help gain and lose weight. It all depends how you combine them. A raw egg eaten alone can lead to weight loss, except if you eat more than around 22 a day to maintain. Aajonus' weight loss protocol relies on eating a raw egg diet for 1-3 weeks and is very effective. Raw eggs can help remove cellulite, strip down toxic fat (which is fat that was used to store toxins). Eggs eaten with other foods, or several at once, don't have this weight loss effect. They are very good to eat with other foods, such as raw meat (steak tartare). You can easily eat 3 raw eggs with your raw steak. There are many recipes, from raw pastries, to sauces like mayo, milkshakes, ... where you can keep the egg raw and whole.show more

A case of two coronary scans: Nick Norwitz (high-fat,... keto 🍳); Simon Hill (plant-based 🌱) First, for context, this post is largely in response to an incredibly nuanced and non-dogmatic podcast conversation between Dave Feldman and Darius Sharpe, one that had me scratching my chin and holding my ribs throughout. I definitely recommend giving it a listen. 12/10 Episode! They spend a substantial amount of time discussing cardiovascular risk and, in particular, the contrast between my coronary CT scan, showing 0 calcified and 0 soft plaque (total plaque 0mm3) despite astronomical LDL levels in the high 500s for seven years vs that of plant-based nutrition influencer Simon Hill, which showed 61.3 mm3 of plaque despite his never having had high LDL and, for the last decade or so, targeting exceptionally low LDL and ApoB, including by taking a PCSK9 inhibitor and eating a low-saturated-fat, plant-forward diet. First and foremost, there’s only so much you can conclude from a comparison of two cases. That’s obvious, so let me state that clearly. However, considering the broader context and expressed public interested, it’s still an interesting thought puzzle: What is “protecting” me from atherosclerosis, or what is leading Simon to develop plaque despite his low LDL and ApoB? I’ll address the common hand-wavy answer up front: “Well, maybe Nick has some special protective genetics.” What I’d say to this is that, although I can’t rule it out definitively since we haven’t annotated the entire human genome, my father had 99% occlusion of his left anterior descending artery at 44, and I also inherited his high Lp(a), which sits between 150 and 200. That is in addition to my historically exceptionally high LDL and a history of inflammatory bowel disease, which should further increase my risk of progression. Yet despite all of that, I have no measurable plaque, even though, as the patient, I can tell you that many cardiologists assured me I would. Additionally, the excuse that “he’s just young” doesn’t fly, since Simon is also young. We’re both in our 30s. And, as a historical comparator, children with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia can develop plaque within a few years of being born. So, puzzle me this: Why am I not developing plaque if the relationship between LDL/ApoB exposure and plaque progression is so "remarkably consistent?" Hand-wave if you want, but I’d like something more specific please. (And I’d like anybody to tell me why they think I was confident enough to spend seven years on a self-experiment, risking my heart on the bet that this would effectively be the outcome. Was I just cocky and lucky?) That’s mostly what I want to post: a thought question to consider based on two individuals who have chosen to make their data publicly available. However, since this field is so wrapped in controversy, let me elaborate on a few more points that are related. 1. KETO-CTA. To anyone who wants to pivot and try to point the finger at KETO-CTA, I will remind you that, in 4 separate analyses, there was no relationship between LDL or ApoB and plaque progression. That remains true to this day. In fact, it's a result that remains more robust for having had our hands forced to run the additional analyses. With respect to our retraction of the April 7th Cleerly paper, which continues to be misrepresented (at this point, I have to assume willfully) I will remind you: i) we the authors, pushed forward the retraction of the April 7 paper; it was not forced upon us ii) we did so because of the Cleerly anomalies that came to light after publication – nb: Dave and I were blinded to elements of data willfully to protect the integrity of the project (there’s an irony for you) iii) we sought retraction only after company’s refusal to repeat a properly blinded rescan and quality assessment, and subsequent analyses that made the only reasonable interpretation that Cleerly systematically overestimated plaque progression iv) in none of the analyses did ApoB or LDL predict plaque progression, which was the main novel finding and remains robust. 2. Ezetimibe I am now taking ezetimibe. Critics have tried to cast this - incorrectly - as some form of me hedging, but I intentionally did not start it until after my 7-year scan, and I am not withholding any information from or about that scan. The reason I’m taking ezetimibe, which I have very clearly disclosed, including in my newsletter and in a video, is 2024 Aging Biology research suggesting cholesterol-independent effects on neuroprotection, which is something that’s important to me. The fact that I am taking it, I would cast as a testament that I’m not dogmatic on this issue, and I’m not trying to “LDL-maxx” for some aware. Rather, I’m being open, honest and transparent in my journey as a person and patient trying to make the best decision for myself at ever step of the journey. Also, on the topic of ezetimibe, see recent work by Adrian Soto-Mota DoctorTro et al., which adds another layer of nuance to LDL and ApoB management in the context of low-carbohydrate diets. TL;DR, if someone sees their LDL and ApoB rise on a low-carbohydrate / ketogenic diet, ezetimibe is likely to punch above its weight for LDL and ApoB reduction. Setting aside dogma, understanding individual biology and how to manipulate it can often be very useful in a clinical setting. I will always put data first. Acknowledging this fact is not contradictory to anything I’ve said, but completely consistent with it. It is all about individual context. Now, everyone should go listen to episode 43 of TFP_ with Dave Feldman and Darius Sharpe (Spotify, Apple and YouTube). It’s stupendous! P.S. I want to thank Dave for sharing on the podcast that, before each of my cardiac scans, I said a priori that I would release the results, whatever they were. You all know Dave to be impeccably honest. That is not in dispute, and it has always been my intent to share my data openly, as I have.show more
