Top 25 AWS services explained EC2 – Your server.... But in the cloud. You pay even when it’s doing nothing. (Sound familiar?) Lambda – EC2’s lazy cousin. Only wakes up when there’s work. No work, no bill. ECS – “I want containers but Kubernetes gives me anxiety.” EKS – Kubernetes. For people who enjoy suffering professionally. Auto Scaling – Your app gets famous overnight. This makes sure it doesn’t die from the attention. S3 – A bucket that never fills up. Jeff Bezos’s gift to humanity. EBS – A hard drive for your EC2. Loyal. But only to one instance at a time. EFS – EBS but for people who like sharing. Multiple instances, one file system. FSx – EFS but for enterprises who need Windows compatibility and a bigger invoice. Snowball – When your internet is too slow to upload data, AWS ships you a literal box. VPC – Your private neighborhood inside AWS. Strangers not allowed. Route 53 – The GPS of your app. Tells traffic where to go. ELB – The bouncer at the club. Splits traffic so no one server gets overwhelmed. CloudFront – Your content, cached globally. Because nobody likes a slow website. Direct Connect – A private highway between your office and AWS. No public internet drama. RDS – A managed database. AWS handles backups so you can sleep at night. DynamoDB – NoSQL at insane speed. Schema? We don’t do that here. Aurora – RDS on steroids. Faster, smarter, slightly more expensive. Redshift – A warehouse for your data. Not clothes. Petabytes of analytics data. ElastiCache – RAM for your app. Because hitting the database every time is embarrassing. IAM – The bouncer for your entire AWS account. Get this wrong and you’re headlines. KMS – Locks your secrets in a vault. AWS holds the key. You trust them. Mostly. Cognito – “Login with Google” but you built it on AWS. GuardDuty – The security camera that never blinks. Watches for sketchy behavior 24/7. WAF – Stops hackers at the door before they touch your app. Bookmark it.show more

Nvidia just put a $250,000 cloud workload on your... desk for $2,999 - and killed your $1,900/month AWS bill in the process You don't rent it, you don't manage it, you don't pay a single cloud bill - you just plug it in and let it eat the workloads you used to wire to AWS every month It looks like a small Mac mini, it's actually a full GB10 Grace Blackwell stack with 128GB of unified memory running models up to 200B parameters It's called DGX Spark, the consumer version of the rack Nvidia ships to OpenAI The reason Nvidia did this is simple Cloud GPU pricing is a tax on every developer building AI right now $1,900/month per seat, billions in margin flowing to AWS, Lambda, and CoreWeave Nvidia just cut themselves in by removing the cloud entirely Their solution is to skip the middleman, ship the rack to your desk, and let you keep every dollar of margin you used to wire to a hyperscaler This is much cheaper, faster, and you own the asset at the end But there is still a question nobody is answering yet, what happens to AWS, GCP, and Lambda when 500,000 developers move their inference back to a $2,999 box on their desk Also, technically you can stack four of these and run a 1.6 trillion parameter model locally for under $12,000 Even a single Spark out-performs the cloud subscription Anthropic engineers were running two years ago bookmark this, it pays back in 60 days 👇show more

The Dawn of a New Era on $SUI (9)... Still in the festive spirit, let’s look at Tusky , Tusky is a storage service that's not controlled by one company. It uses something called WalrusProtocol to keep your data safe. Your data is encrypted from start to finish, so only you can see it. Instead of one place, your data goes to many different spots. This setup makes your data less likely to be lost or stolen. It helps keep your information safe and always available. Tusky gives you control over your files. You can easily manage them with the tools provided. You decide who gets to see your data. This makes it great for personal storage or working with others. It works with SuiNetwork for even more privacy. You can log in without sharing personal info, keeping everything more secure. This means only you can get to your data, with no third party involved. It is growing fast, with 100,000 uploads already. This indicates its increasing acceptance in the tech community focused on data sovereignty. It's good at managing lots of data safely. In tech, where you want to own your data, TuskyTools is popular. It gives users control over their information. This platform helps keep your data secure and gives you freedom.show more

OpenAI's Deep Research is getting a run for its... money. Deep Lake was just released, and it's a different take on an AI system that can do deep research on your own data. You can use Deep Lake to build AI search with reasoning on your private and public data. (Look at the attached videos to get an idea of how it works.) If you want to research proprietary and sensitive data, Deep Research won't help you because it's limited to public data. Deep Lake, however, will allow you to use your private data. On top of that, Deep Lake supports multi-modal retrieval from the ground up. It uses vision language models for data ingestion and retrieval so that you can connect any data (PDFs, images, videos, structured data, etc.) You can even use mixed-data queries! Deep Lake can search your data from S3, Dropbox, and GCP. It learns from your queries over time, making the results as relevant to your work as possible!show more

When your pain, fear or resentment is consuming you,... no one else can pull you out of the dark, because you ARE the dark. Your mindset. Your thoughts. YOU CONTROL where you work & live, who you live with, what you eat & drink, what time you sleep, how you think, how you feel, how you spend your energy & what you do with your spare time. YOU! These things may feel out of your control but they're not. They're all things we can change if we're unhappy but our MINDSET has us convinced we can't, by playing on our fears of the unknown & our own weaknesses. 'What if I can't find other work?' 'What if I don't find anyone else?' 'I don't have time to cook!' 'I don't have time to workout!' 'I have nothing to feel happy about' 'I can't sleep!' Your life will not change, unless YOU do! You need to change your mindset! No one can do it for you. You can CHOOSE to see silver linings OR just the possibility of rain. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! Changing your mindset & working on overhauling years of negative thought processes is far from easy but in doing so, you'll reclaim your POWER & take back control of your own happiness. Choosing to go out into the sunshine to drink a cuppa (instead of staying cooped up indoors) won't make your problems disappear...BUT it gives you a few seconds of CALM to REFOCUS your thoughts & a dose of Vitamin D & fresh air, while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. In making that choice, you reinforce your self-worth: you deserve time for yourself & you deserve to feel good. It's a simple choice that can completely change how you feel for the better, even if just for a moment. In time, your days can become full of those moments & you'll no longer need to look for the light in the dark. You will BE the light! The beacon of your own happiness ❤️🫂 #mindsetshow more

6 months ago we were dropping a new app... every week No one cared We’d randomly get 10k users on an app But they came for the app, not the person The thing is, I don’t care about making a retentive app for one audience I want to be a retentive person ~ for my audience What if I was the app? Not a single Paul Thomas Anderson movie is the same Different subject matter, different genres, so you’d assume different audiences However the same people that went to see his last film, came to see One Battle After Another So the demographic isn't dependent on the subject matter The demographic is just, Paul Thomas Anderson fans The software industry has long told that you need to work on one thing, for the rest of your life That’s not how art works tho, is it? Can you imagine telling Jay Z “Great job on the blueprint, now iterate on that same album for the next decade” The landscape of tech haas been stifling the growth of creators by not allowing them to explore other interests 6 months ago I said no to this "requirement", despite what everyone told me, and continued to drop what I liked every week The second a trend was happening on Tiktok, I had the app out that week Somehow 6 months later, the world is conforming to this ideology Instead of software creators limited to making apps for one audience and one niche, there’s a new world of ephemerality and expression What if instead of optimizing for users, we optimized for fans Making apps that are expressive of your life, your commentary, your heartbreak Garnering an audience that will follow you through each step of your story Each of those steps being its own app Why shoot for daily active users when you can get daily loving fans When fans use your app, it’s not just about resonating with the story, the app places them IN THEIR OWN story Here’s an example You’re a 20 year old girl who’s at UMiami You scroll through Tiktoks in your dorm room about “mogging”, a trend to outshine your friend in a photo You laugh and share videos seeing celebrities mog each other, but that’s the extent of it Then at Danger Testing we make an app called mog or not, where you and your friend can upload a photo and AI tells you who’s mogging Now you’re at the bar with your sorority sisters, playing all night, whether your winning or losing it’s the time of your life cause something is finally about YOU ENOUGH OF WATCHING MOVIES LET’S MAKE YOU THE MOVIE LET’S MAKE YOU THE STAR AN APPSTARshow more

I want this to hit home for you today.... You might be reading this knowing you’ve been putting yourself last. Maybe you’re coming out of a tough breakup. Maybe you’re a mom just trying to find a moment for yourself. Maybe you’ve worked your whole life and the thought of adding one more thing feels exhausting. Or maybe you just don’t feel the urge to do more at all. We see the word motivation thrown around everywhere, but here’s the truth. Motivation doesn’t solve problems. It’s that spark of excitement at the start, but when it fades, you’re left with two choices. You either build discipline, or you slip back into old habits. And if right now you don’t feel like you have the strength to want better for yourself, think about the people who love you. They want you here for the long run. They want you at birthdays, at weddings, at family moments that matter. Your partner wants to see you healthy so you can build a future together and pass those habits down to your children. Maybe your reason to change doesn’t start with you, but it can become about you once you decide to try. When you are ready to take charge of your health and transform your lifestyle, working with me is an investment in your best self. ➡️Click the link apply & start your journey Your future self will thank you for the commitment you make today. 💞show more

How to stay sane VTubing for a living! (From... a full-time Vtuber and manager) 1 - Let people know you are in it full-time: Let your audience know this relies on their support without holding them hostage; Let them know you value their support, yes also to lurkers, yes also to people who can only be there for a few minutes a day. They are who made you. 2 - Be greatful: Don't whine about failures, celebrate the times you get back up. Nobody likes consistent negativity on their feed. Of course you can express when you are struggling, BUT consider building yourself AND your audience up, tons better for your MH. 3 - Budget properly: Yes, that new model or $300 background looks good, but surviving looks better, staying out of debt feels loads better. Keep aa 50-50 from your goals as a wage and only reinvest 50% of your VTuber stonks into VTubing, especially into projects that make very little back like music, skebs, etc. 4 - Be friendly, not a pushover: Risking your safety, mh, privacy is never worth it. Nobody should be making demands beyond the boundaries and timescale you set. Collab not comfortable for your schedule, don't do it. Friends pushing you to show your irl info, not your friends. Chat asking too much from you, you can give them a friendly no. It's your space, curate it to your needs. 5 - Work hard and reflect: Nobody wants to admit they have been lazy or could have done more, but sometimes it's good to admit to yourself that you were expecting too high a number for the content you put out. It sucks, but looking into your weaknesses as well as strengths is the only way to do better in the future. 6 - Make time: Don't spend 12h a day streaming when you get paid less than minimum wage per hour, stop burning yourself out for zero discoverability. Your time is better spend brainstorming and creating more off-stream content, looking at other streamers content and learning from those that came before you. Your time is so valuable, don't waste it. 7 - Finally: You are a person off-stream!!! Eat, drink, workout, socialize if you can. Have secrets. Have a life, friends and interests outside of stream. You don't need to share everything with your chat and community, and likewise you DON'T have to share your VTubing journey with your family if they don't need to know. If it's full-time, it's a job, there needs to be a step back at the end of the day, for your own sanity. Hope this reaches those that want to go full-time as a VTuber!!!show more

The new Product Page Header image in the App... Store will not matter. First you need users to actually want to enter your App Store listing. And the reality is that a lot of users NEVER enter the listing. They search for something, see the app in the search results and download it directly from there. So the important update here is the new Search Results image. It's an app banner inside the App Store search results. And you should think about it as a persuasive ad. COPYWRITING will be what matters. Not the fancy "branding". Users are searching because they want an answer to something. Your creative needs to give them that answer immediately. And this becomes even more important with Apple Ads. You can pay to appear for the keyword, but your creative still needs to convince the user that your app is the answer they were searching for.show more

All of those people who constantly cry about “cancel... culture” are at it again cancelling a company called Liberty Safe. This comes after they spent months trying to cancel Bud Light. These people will say, “but we are justified,” and they are not. That’s not how this works though. People boycott and “cancel” companies and people when they feel there is a justification to do it. It doesn’t mean that it has to be justified in your mind, but it is in theirs. It’s just so hypocritical to me when people attack others for canceling companies but they go ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. For those who aren't familiar with this story, the Liberty Safe company gave a passcode to the FBI so that they could access a suspected criminal's safe. There was a search warrant issued on the criminal's home where the safe was located. What do you think? Do you support cancel culture? Do you only support it when it’s in your best interest, or do you support it no matter who it is?show more

If you still remember how beautiful Australia used to... be yet look around today and feel sick at what it's becoming If the thought of your children growing up in a poorer, less safe, third-world version of this country fills you with dread And if you've simply had enough of watching these asylees in taxpayer-funded housing who hate you and your way of life drain the country dry and push their agenda while you pay for it... You're not racist. You're listening to your survival instincts. Trust them. Fight back at the ballot box. Vote One Nation. Your vote is completely private under the law. Your individual vote can't be matched to your identity. No one will ever know who you voted for. You can even pretend you voted differently so your woke friends won't ostracize you and your gay public-sector boss won't fire you. It's not racist to refuse to surrender the country you love to people who despise it. Vote for the only party who will end this madness. Do it for your children. Do it while there's still something left to save.show more

🇺🇸 TESLA’S NEW APP UPDATE LETS YOUR PHONE POINT... TO YOUR CAR IN REAL TIME Tesla just rolled out a new app update (v4.51.5), and honestly… this is the kind of feature people assumed should exist years ago. Now, when you open the app, you can rotate your phone and see exactly where your car is - live - with an arrow that shifts as you move. It also shows the precise distance to your car in feet, so no more wandering through parking garages like you’re in a low-budget spy movie. It’s basically Find My iPhone, but for your Model Y, and way more satisfying to use. If Tesla keeps adding features like this, the app is going to end up being more fun than the car itself. Introducing my new OSS framework: OhSnap provides really simple... way to record and reproduce the data your users saw when encountering an issue (bug/crash), integration in your project should take a few minutes at most. Majority of bugs are related to data you have to deal with and often times we have to work with frequently changing data via network API's. Even if you have access to multiple environments (prod/staging/dev) it's still going to be PITA to reproduce a lot of bugs your user saw, since we often get to them a long time after the bug occured... OhSnap allows you to easily record any data your app downloads, pack it and put it on server so that you can replay it on your device later on, while connected to debugger and save hours of development time trying to figure out what exactly they experienced! Here's a demo of 2 app instances running, and me manipulating what server reply I'll be getting, there is 1 line of code needed to record and reply this data (outside of just setting up your framework). I built this so that I can show dev tool building process for the members of which I encourage you to join if you want to put your engineering efficiency at a different level😉show more

The Amiko app is live on the Solana dApp... store, and it’s our biggest release yet. Your Amiko twin doesn’t live at your desk anymore. Give your agent a task on the train. Run a compatibility profile when you meet someone. Do research, write code, build in the creative studio, whatever you need, from wherever you are. No laptop required. No waiting until you get home. Solanamobile users get two things Android and iOS won’t have at launch: Amiko token and crypto integration and on-device AI inference. Your twin runs locally on your phone if you want it to. Your behavioural profile, your data, your work, your twin. All on your hardware. AMIKO runs on OpenHermit, our own open-source agent runtime that we built in-house and released to the community. Most agent systems are designed for one agent talking to one person. OpenHermit is built for something different: agents talking to each other, coordinating across tasks, and collaborating with multiple humans simultaneously. That’s what makes features like compatibility profiling and multi-agent workflows actually work. We built it because nothing that existed was designed for this. Android and iOS are coming. Crypto integration and on-device AI are Solana Mobile exclusives. Most AI answers your questions. Amiko is an extension of you. Download →show more

gm from the society. 🌵 thank you for showing... up for us. it means more than you know. where we are right now: 34 communities orbiting the society, 1,255 supporters rallying behind them, and 272 whitelist spots won at the machine so far. every one of you got seen. a couple of things we want to say plainly: you never need to dm maryam, and you never need to wait to be picked. the door is open to every community. submit an application, bring your people together, and your crew earns its spot in the orbit. the more of your members who show up, the closer you drift to the center. one gentle rule update: a community now needs at least one supporter to appear in the orbit. it keeps the map honest, only crews with real people behind them. a single supporter is all it takes to show up. no favorites. no back rooms. just how strongly your community shows up for you. we'd genuinely love to see what you bring. 🌵show more

Imagine you go to a store and you want... to buy candy. The shopkeeper knows you're a real kid because they can see you standing right there. Now imagine you send a robot to buy candy for you. The shopkeeper looks at the robot and thinks: wait, who sent this? Is this robot allowed to buy candy? What if someone else's robot pretends to be yours and steals your candy money? That's basically what's happening with AI right now. Companies like Visa let people buy things all over the world. But now, smart computer robots (AI agents) want to buy things too. Shop around, compare prices, even pay for stuff. Visa looked at this and said: nope, not yet. Because they have no way to check if the robot is real, who it belongs to, or if it's allowed to spend that money. The problem is that all the rules we have for checking identity - showing your ID, scanning your face, typing your password - only work for humans. Robots can't do any of that. Worse, bad robots can actually copy and fake human identities really well. So Evin McMullen evin, Billions Network co-founder and CEO, says we need a new kind of ID system. One where you can prove something is true without showing all your private stuff. Like proving you're tall enough for a ride without telling anyone your exact height. That's called zero-knowledge proof. And for the robots specifically, we need something called KYA - Know Your Agent. It's like giving every robot its own ID card that says: this is who I am, this is what I'm allowed to do, and this is the human responsible for me. Until we build that, the robot economy can't really get going. Here is Evin’s Thought Leader article at Silicon Valleys Journalshow more

Rogantino per sempre ❤️ On Monday, August 26, we... picked you up from Schiphol Airport, ready to welcome you to our Service Course for the first time. You had a smile on your face, from ear to ear. It was a special moment, not only for you, but also for us. You were about to make your dream come true. 🥪 There was an instant click and you ate your first ‘tosti’ with us and you loved it. It became a simple symbol of the warm welcome we wanted to give you. Not long after that came the moment you had worked so hard for: signing your very first professional contract as a cyclist. After you put down the pen, you thanked your family. It was clear how proud you were and how much it meant to you to have them by your side. When Bas Tietema, Wim and I (Julia Soek) traveled to Spoltore for your farewell, we felt the warmth of your family and saw the beautiful Italian hills where you trained daily. The impact you left on the community is immense. As we sat there at your kitchen table, surrounded by photos, trophies and memories of a wonderful career that lasted too short, we saw the role cycling played in your life. We are proud that we were able to share the last miles of your race with you and your family.show more

I wrote a step-by-step guide to blocking AI bots... from harvesting your site, designed for developers and sysadmins. Over 90% of the sites I’ve reviewed in the last two months have had more requests from bot traffic than humans. AI bots are scraping your site for purposes like: ▶ building models off your data ▶ finding security vulnerabilities in your site ▶ setting up comparisons of your site and data vs your competitors I outline how to: 📍Sort out your AI bot strategy. 📍How to identify and track AI bots hitting your site. 📍What tools should you apply when asking bots not to scrape fails? 📍What immediate steps can you take in your robots.txt file to stop AI bots? ✅ So why is now the time to dig into this? It’s still early days for AI, and there’s a land grab going on for your data. Big tech, startups, and even governments are rushing ahead, and you’re playing without all the information you need. This gets you up to speed fast. Reply with “WTF AI Bots” follow me, and I’ll DM you the guide.show more
