This is the largest African American motorcycle event in the United States. I am from SC, but have lived in other states before moving back. At least 260 children have been killed by Israel's... relentless attack on Gaza which continued overnight and through this morning. The death toll in the besieged enclave since the start of Israel's air strikes on Saturday has risen to 1,055 while 5,184 people have been injured and 260,000 displaced. Local authorities reported significant casualties when Israel targeted the home of an international law expert in Gaza City. The Israeli Air Force said they had hit 450 targets in the previous 24 hours. Since the surprise attacks by the Palestinian resistance on Saturday, Israel has imposed a complete blockade on Gaza, cutting off food, water and power. UNRWA said it only has two weeks supply of food and water for the 180,000 people who have sought refuge in their schools. Local officials in Gaza have also warned that a power plant is due to shut down in a matter of hours due to a lack of fuel as a result of the Israeli blockade. Fun fact. Stoopee (the black one) wandered into our... house a week after our dog Watson passed. A month after we adopted him, he made sure to bring his friend from the street Lucy (the white one) by. We knew it would have to be both of them adopted together. Now during the day, whenever they sleep they like to be in each others eye line. At night, she sleeps in the bedroom and he makes sure to sleep in a bed right outside the bedroom door. Like he’s keeping watch on the three of us. We moved back to Mumbai exactly a year ago. With our two goa indies. We were so stressed about whether they would adapt. Strangely, the minute they got to the city, away from the street they lived on, it’s like they knew they were set for life. Because the reminder of the street they used to live on was gone, so they weren’t always on edge. They know now, Wherever we go, they know they are coming. Seeing them settle here, sleep 16 hours a day without a care in the world, is I think the greatest moment of this year for me. It’s been an amazing amazing blessing 🧿show more
