Over 19 people are injured and 3 are hospitalized... at "Black Bike Week" after multiple fights caused a STAMPEDE that ended in a MASS CASU*LTY INCIDENT at in Myrtle Beach SC. This is the largest African American motorcycle event in the United States. I am from SC, but have lived in other states before moving back. Years ago, my then husband and I were gonna take a vacation to Myrtle Beach. We booked a room then later found out it was Black Biker week. We called the hotel to cancel but they refused to refund our money until my then husband threatened to ruin them. Then they complied. Businesses shut down during Black Biker Week in MB. Fun fact. Stoopee (the black one) wandered into our... house a week after our dog Watson passed. A month after we adopted him, he made sure to bring his friend from the street Lucy (the white one) by. We knew it would have to be both of them adopted together. Now during the day, whenever they sleep they like to be in each others eye line. At night, she sleeps in the bedroom and he makes sure to sleep in a bed right outside the bedroom door. Like he’s keeping watch on the three of us. We moved back to Mumbai exactly a year ago. With our two goa indies. We were so stressed about whether they would adapt. Strangely, the minute they got to the city, away from the street they lived on, it’s like they knew they were set for life. Because the reminder of the street they used to live on was gone, so they weren’t always on edge. They know now, Wherever we go, they know they are coming. Seeing them settle here, sleep 16 hours a day without a care in the world, is I think the greatest moment of this year for me. It’s been an amazing amazing blessing 🧿show more
