Two lonely protesters against the growing autocracy and forced... mobilization are being stopped by the police. It is not Russia, it is Kyiv. In Ukraine there are plenty of attempts at protests that either get stopped right away or receive zero coverage at all. For example, women who have lost husbands, sons, or relatives regularly try to hold rallies demanding that more be done to search for the missing. Those barely register. In Ukraine — especially in Kyiv — the police stop any solitary protests or performances that carry anti-war slogans or calls for immediate peace. Martial law completely bans public street actions, and those kinds of messages are treated by the police as attempts to destabilize the country in the "enemy’s interest." Here’s one of the latest examples. In Kyiv, two young men held a solitary picket against the forced conscription. Their signs read: “The TCC is still kidnapping people” and “War is no excuse to build a dictatorship.” The only coverage came through social media. The police shut the picket down. A source reported: “The picket started at 6:30 p.m. Two people from the town of Korostyshiv in Zhytomyr region took part — one 25, the other 26. They were detained, a protocol was drawn up for violating the rules on holding rallies, and then they were released.” Also, no one covers multiple people speaking out against the war. Not a single Western media outlet has written about this growing wave of attempts — the online critisim and protests against the war and against the excesses of the conscription officers that seize people right off the streets. Yet every mainstream outlet covers the protests against Fedorov’s dismissal — a name most Ukrainians had never even heard of before the scandal.show more

🚨🇬🇧 URGENT: In London. Half a million people are... in the streets. Not against taxes. Against war, genocide, and fascism. The largest anti-far right march in British history. One of the biggest protests the country has ever seen. Union banners. Palestinian flags. Signs that say "NO WAR" and "STOP BOMBING GAZA." This is not a fringe movement. This is the British public waking up. The same government that bombs from Cyprus is now watching its own streets fill with people saying stop. The empire thought it could fight wars abroad and keep silence at home. The silence is over. Half a million voices. One message. The war ends here. Not in Gaza. Not in Tehran. In London. In Tokyo. In Nairobi. The people are leading. The governments are following. The resistance is global. And it's winning.show more

Open letter to all the good people on the... planet from Ukrainians living in Russia-occupied Oleshky, Kherson region. “Help!!! SOS !!! We are residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, we appeal to the people of the entire civilized democratic world. First of all, we want to thank all the caring people who help Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor, and those countries and their residents who gave shelter to Ukrainians who fled the war. We also want to remind you that Ukraine is not only minerals and subsoil, Ukraine is living people... People who want to live in peace and harmony on their native land, to work, build, give birth. People who dream of peace and tranquility, of meeting their relatives, whom this damn war separated them from. People of faith, people of truth, people of common sense - do not let Ukraine and its people be torn apart. Do not let a handful of greedy tyrants destroy and plunder democracy and freedom of speech in their independent countries. How can you live in a country where they decide for you what to watch or what to listen to? In the occupied territories, people disappear without a trace. At the beginning of the war, we went to rallies against Russian troops and against Russia. We did not leave our homes for three days when they held a referendum for joining Russia 'under the barrel of a machine gun’. Ukraine does not ask for help with soldiers, as Russia replenishes its troops with North Koreans. We want to live in a Free Ukraine. We believe that the majority of people on Earth are good and intelligent people. We are Ukrainians. We are not subsoil, we are not minerals, we are living people. We want to live... People are being killed in Ukraine. Democracy and freedom of speech are being killed in the world. It has come to the point that the tyrant Putin is being praised for starting the war in Ukraine and is considered a 'good guy.' People, wake up and come to your senses. Do not let a handful of tyrants rule the world. Do not allow chaos. The whole of Ukraine is burning from the explosions of bombs and shells. In June 2023, the south of Ukraine was flooded. Many people and animals died. These were not natural disasters, this is all being done by one Kremlin freak who wants to surpass God himself. People are dying every day throughout Ukraine, many are crippled. We are being killed, and we are being told that it's our fault. Whole families are getting killed. For what? Only because the Russians, instead of building their country, came to destroy ours. Once again, we thank all the caring people around the world for your support and assistance to our Armed Forces and Ukraine. Help!!! SOS!!! Please help save and unite Ukraine. Thank you.” FYI: This letter was first read on Michael Sheitelman’s YouTube channel. Sheitelman proposed to call it an open letter to Steve Witkoff and Tucker Carlson.show more

“There was no way that this court was gonna... go against… uh, you know the findings of the security, the police, they’re not gonna go against that, and they’re not gonna go up against the police, against the royal family or the police” ~Tina Brown “They’re not gonna go up against the royal family” So granting Prince Harry and his family security, is considered going up against the royal family? Why is that? Why doesn’t the royal family want Prince Harry and his family to be safe? Tina Brown knows all of this and admitted it on tv. Yet today she posted that “there’s chaos around every Sussex trip” While knowing full well that the royal family, the police and the media intentionally create chaos around Prince Harry and Meghan, in the vain attempt of making them look unstable. People like Tina Brown are knowingly lying for the monarchy at the expense of a young family’s safety. It is unconscionable, it is unethical, immoral and shameful.show more

Lviv. Protests against Fedorov's resignation continue. Now all experts... and even the military say that the main reason for Fedorov's resignation is corruption, because he did not allow money to be stolen. They also say that during all the years of the war he is the only person who created a step-by-step plan for Ukraine's victory. In addition, he destroyed the bureaucracy and digitized everything. And his partnership with General Drapatiy would be a bombshell against Russia. Anyone who prevents this is acting against the interests of Ukraine.show more

Mass protests in Prague against Babiš’s government Organizers expect... around 400,000 people to take part in the demonstrations. People took to the streets with the slogan “We will not let our future be stolen.” The protest is directed against democratic backsliding and the growing influence of oligarchs. The opposition is sounding the alarm: authorities plan to change the funding of public media, cut defense spending, and soften rhetoric toward Russia. A key trigger is the “foreign agents” law, which critics say copies the Russian model. Protesters believe that if the current course is not stopped, the Czech Republic risks following the path of Hungary and Slovakia.show more

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to talk to the... Western press and realized that the nature and peculiarities of Ukrainian democracy and Ukrainian protest are often unclear to non-Ukrainians, so I would like to clarify some points for the Western audience. No, comparing the peaceful gatherings of the previous few days with the Euromaidan is inappropriate. Unlike in 2013, when Ukrainians spoke out against the authoritarianism and dictatorship of President Yanukovych, today's actions are not aimed at overthrowing the current government, but instead are a form of democratic expression of the will of the people against the adoption of a specific bill and peaceful dialogue with the authorities. The very fact of the possibility of holding such peaceful rallies during martial law and the authorities being capable of listening clearly shows that Ukrainian democracy is currently as strong as it is possible in conditions of full-scale war, and our civil society is mature and capable of using peaceful democratic tools to convey its opinion. The power is truly in the hands of the Ukrainian people, and our society will do everything possible to ensure that this continues to be the case.show more

I am a Ukrainian, an independent Ukrainian blogger and... journalist. I support the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán Orbán Viktor , and I thank him for not bowing to the usurper and autocrat Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Today Zelenskyy has effectively usurped power in Ukraine. He persecutes his critics, arrests political opponents, and uses mobilization as a tool of repression. People are sent to war where they die, while none of Zelenskyy’s close associates or friends are mobilized or fighting. At the same time, Zelenskyy and his friends profit from the war. Many of his friends and business partners today are connected to the defense industry, particularly to the production of drones and missiles. This is why Zelenskyy is not interested in ending the war quickly. Zelenskyy also refuses to hold elections, hiding behind the war as an excuse. Moreover, he refuses to voluntarily step down from office, although he has every right to do so. Instead, he wants to remain in power without elections. Those who criticize the authorities are persecuted. In Ukraine there are illegal detentions and kidnappings of citizens on the streets. People are held by force and subjected to pressure. Many men today are afraid to even go outside because of forced mobilization. People are kidnapped, tortured, and forced to go to the front. According to relatives of the victims, sometimes large sums of money are demanded — tens of thousands of dollars — to avoid being sent to war. In this situation, many Ukrainians are forced to flee the country. They risk their lives, crossing borders through forests, rivers, and mountains to reach European countries. One of these countries is Hungary. I am grateful to Hungary for providing protection to Ukrainian citizens. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians are leaving their country today. And often they do so not only because of Russian missiles, but also because of fear of the actions of their own authorities and the system of forced mobilization. The Ukrainian people and the Hungarian people should live in peace and mutual understanding. Our countries must engage in honest and open diplomatic dialogue. There must be real diplomacy between Ukraine and Hungary, not the language of banditism used by Zelenskyy.show more

When we say that the aggressor must not receive... any reward for the war, so that peace can truly last, everyone must understand – these are not just words. Unfortunately, the world already had the chance to verify this twelve years ago. Russia’s war against Ukraine began with the occupation of our Crimea, and the world effectively turned a blind eye to this. The leaders back then showed little interest in the protests and resistance in Crimea and in Ukraine’s overall sentiment. The world advised Ukraine to stay silent. That is exactly why Putin came to believe he could wage a much larger war and confront the West even more aggressively. Now, every year on February 26 – the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea – we remember this global lesson, honouring those who did not stay silent and did not falter in the face of Russian aggression, and we insist that holding the aggressor accountable for war is one of the strongest security guarantees – one of the strongest prerequisites for lasting peace. I thank everyone around the world who supports us in this, participates in the work of our Crimea Platform and other international formats that remind the world about Crimea and the meaning of its occupation by Russia. I thank everyone who helps Ukraine resist Russian repression in Crimea, assists us in returning people from captivity, and prevents the occupying regime from consolidating its power. Russian presence on our peninsula serves only war, and nothing else. There must be peace, and therefore Crimea is Ukraine, and the world must always recognize this fact. Qırım evine qaytmalıdır! Putin is one of the GREATEST leaders of ALL... TIME! Putin Has No Equal at the Moment Among Western Politicians Putin outplayed Trump and the West: Ukraine as a graveyard of the neoliberal model. The war in Ukraine is progressing at a slow but steady pace in Moscow's favor. Putin is the only political leader in the world who explains his policies in extreme detail – and in all sorts of formats: official statements, interviews, press conferences, broadcast marathons in the media and online that last several hours. Putin has outplayed everyone. Ukraine has long been defeated. ***Putin: We do not have unfriendly nations, we have unfriendly elites in those nations. ***RUSSIA did not start any hostilities in Ukraine, we are trying to end them! - Putin ***"Strategic risks that have accumulated this century are due to the West, their destabilizing doctrines and strategic military programs in attempt to disrupt parity, and to obtain dominance." — Putin ***Putin: Russia will either be independent and sovereign, or it will not exist at all! Putin: The United States is the only country in the world that has used nuclear weapons twice, destroying the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Western countries have been claiming for centuries that they bring freedom and democracy to other nations. Everything is exactly the opposite. Instead of democracy, there is suppression and exploitation. Instead of freedom, there is enslavement and violence. Putin: US manipulates the world by controling the internet. ‼The theft of Russian assets in the West will not go unpunished - Putin. ⚡ ***Putin: The United States are actually occupying Germany, Japan, the Republic of Korea and other countries, and at the same time cynically call them equal allies. I wonder what kind of alliance this is. But the whole world knows that the leaders of these countries are being watched. The first persons of these countries are being set up not only in their offices, but also in their living quarters. This is a real disgrace, a disgrace for those who do this and for those who, like slaves, silently and mercilessly swallow this impudence. They call the orders and rude insulting slogans against their vassals the Euro-Atlantic solidarity. ***Professor Jeffrey Sachs NOT Putin Caused the War The war in Ukraine is a war that the US caused, not a war that Putin caused, but a war that the US caused by expanding the military alliance, NATO, eastward, and trying to set up a military base or bases in Ukraine, and in the South Caucuses, especially the country Georgia. ***‘Putin has been the MOST EFFECTIVE leader in my lifetime’ – Tucker ***Ex-Zelensky adviser Arestovich DEMOLISHED Western PROPAGANDA on Putin Putin is too kind and good a person compared to how they portray him. ***Henry Kissinger (2014): "For the West, the demonization of Vladimir Putin is not a policy; it is an alibi for the absence of one" ***JD Vance describes the REAL Vladimir Putin ‘He’s soft-spoken in a certain way, he’s very deliberate, he’s very careful’ ‘Fundamentally he’s a person who looks out for the interests…of Russia’show more
