The solution is to increase the physics rate according to the scale of the simulated car. For example, a 1:10 scale RC car requires a 10x higher physics rate to be simulated with the same spatial resolution as a standard-sized car. In Unity, this means reducing Project Settings > Time > Fixed Timestep from 0.02 (50 Hz, default) to 0.002 (500 Hz). A new EV in the offing SERES 3 is... going to be launched (locally assembled) soon in Pakistan. The expected launching price is PKR 9 million. I was given the opportunity to test drive the car. Here is my take: Like any other EV it is a more economical, soundless, and environmentally friendly car with a thrill of enjoying instant torque – I did 0 to 100 in 9 seconds (video attached). According to the manufacturers – in ideal conditions – the range is 400 km in full charge (battery capacity is 50 kwh). My experience is doing approx. 300 Km in Lahore traffic. Assuming electricity cost of Rs60/Kwh, the cost/Km is Rs9 which is 1/3rd of Sportage (the car I drive). Additionally, there is no engine maintenance cost, which makes it more economical (calculation comparison with Sportage FWD is attached). EV is the best driving option to improve the environment in your city – especially in smoggy Lahore. The biggest issue people have with EV is range anxiety – We as a family used this car for our daily errands and school runs and there was no stress for two days if we drove 80–100Km a day. The second biggest issue is that of charging. We charged this at home during the night -started charging after 11 PM (to avoid peak hour) and by 6 AM in the morning, the car is fully charged (from 30% to 100%) – hence, within city, there is no need to find a charging station. I may not prefer it on the long route – though technically it can run easily from Lahore to Bhera and within 30-40 mins charging there, the car would cruise to Islamabad. It’s a Chinese car, and I don’t like ICE Chinese cars; but in case of EV, it is a doable option. Chinese auto players are better in EV technology than Japanese and others. SERES has a very good road grip, very decent interior, and a good family car. My driver wants me to replace the one he usually drives with this one because of the cost saved in petrol. My gas guzzler-loving friends also approve of this eco-friendlier model. It’s going to be a new and exciting addition to the locally assembled cars. Good luck to Regal Motors.show more

The 2nd car to be included in the test shipment of the small business I am creating to offer cheap quality cars to civil servants. The car will be duty cleared, delivered & ready to drive direct from Holland to your house in Tarauni or Ikorodu for the region of just 5 Million naira. The car has already been exported to Nigeria systematically as in the last frame. Since I posted these cars, I have received several offers. Some people even offered above 1 Million naira more than the asking price just to reserve it for themselves. However, at this stage, I do not want to collect anybody’s money before the cars arrive in Nigeria. I do not want to feel obliged to update you where your car is or having to explain any delays at this point. This is a testing phase and once the cars arrive, they will be released to the market. This driver is trying to ma a left turn... and the car on the opposite side stops and makes a path for them to turn. As the car starts to turn, an electric bike in the bike lane comes speeding down and well, as you can see, smashes into the car and flips over the front. Luckily he gets up and is walking. He could have been seriously injured. To me, this is quite literally why they say you’re not supposed to just stop in the middle of a street to let someone turn. Some are saying it’s the red car’s fault for stopping and letting the driver turn. Others are saying in their state, an electric bike is like a motorcycle and has to obey the traffic laws. Who is at fault? Do you think the electric bike should have been in the bike lane traveling that fast? The red car for letting the car turn left when it can’t see, or is it the drivers responsibility to make sure all is clear before proceeding?show more

This happened on 20th April around 12:10 pm on... Turuvekere Road. The KSRTC driver tried to overtake a car nearing a curve. This is really a huge concern for safety of passengers and others on the road. This could have ended really worse if the car didn't hit the brakes at the right time. This is the silliest loophole in NYC. Every day,... I see tons of people sitting in their cars for 90 minutes during the street cleaning times. If you sit in your car, you don't need to move it or get a ticket. At least not on the block near me. Not the best start to my day!!! Had my... car broken into last night. They stole a bag full of sweaty gym cloths, another bag with my JiuJitsu Gi in and what’s really inconvenient is they took a set of my prosthetic legs! Despite having 3 cameras pointing at my car I was told by the staff at the hotel that they couldn’t see any activity as the view to my car was blocked by another car (might be time to reposition those cameras 🤔) The sad thing is to think that someone would break into a car parked in a disabled parking space and steal equipment someone needs to live independently and not even care 🦿🦿🦾show more
