A licensed, practicing physician is someone who completed residency, passed boards, obtained a state license, and treats patients under ongoing regulatory oversight on a regular basis. El-Sayed has not done the latter, and thus, he should stop referring to himself as a practicing physician. Abdul’s Islamic ideology compels him and encourages him to lie to non-Muslims for the purpose of advancing Islam, which is why he feels comfortable lying to Michigan voters about being a “practicing physican”.
