HOW TO DODGE EVERY SKILLSHOT IN LEAGUE OF LEGENDS... SO YOU GET ACCUSED OF SCRIPTING - Script in your mind - Draw out how far, wide, fast an ability is relative to your character thats all the easy stuff that I have been preaching already you can find in my free discord for improvement however one thing that League coaches fail to explain is the human aspect of it every game you play in League of Legends, every single person in the game is constantly building their profile in a game on how they operate both sides are constantly trying to mind f*ck each other to land and dodge skillshots. I have broken it down into layers the three layers to dodging are layer 0 - no dodge (unconscious) layer 1 - dodge (conscious) layer 2 - no dodge (conscious) Notice how in the clip in a challenger game below Olaf shoots a layer 0 skillshot, but because I am playing at a layer 1, I dodge his axe. Now the Thresh hook gets a little deeper bare with me, because I built the profile that I will dodge an ability in that moment, he thinks that I won't dodge and is shooting a hook at a layer 2 thinking that I will dodge at a layer 2 also. However I know that he knows I will likely not juke and walk straight so I make the conscious choice to dodge AGAIN playing at a layer 1 resulting in me dodging the hook, of course he could be accounting for my tumble but the point still stands. There are many deeper things to consider like zoning abilities, environment etc but you generally want to always play at a layer 1 until you gain more data in a game to adapt. However one thing that always stays true throughout my 13 years of playing League is in teamfights that have gone on for awhile, human beings tend to panic and default to layer 0 of shooting abilities, so if your able to operate at layer 1 as a teamfight progresses, you will likely dodge that one final skillshot that wins you the game. study the saskio wayshow more

🚨UNIPHICS NEWS🚨: Light doesn’t slow down in glass —... time does. And that explains every rainbow you’ve ever seen 🧨 For centuries, we’ve been taught that light slows down when it enters glass, water, or any transparent material, and that this slowing causes refraction and the splitting of colors in rainbows and prisms. The refractive index is treated as a material property, and photons are pictured as particles mysteriously changing speed inside matter. Uniphics offers a much cleaner and more fundamental picture. Light is a propagating spin-wave mode in the ξM-field. When this wave enters a material like glass, the material increases the local energy density. Because time flow is directly tied to energy density (t_flow = k / E_d), time flows more slowly inside the glass than in air. The spin-wave pattern of light therefore takes longer to advance through the region of slower time flow. This change in the rate of time progression across the boundary causes the wave to bend — exactly what we observe as refraction. Different wavelengths (colors) interact slightly differently with the energy-density environment, so they bend by different amounts, creating rainbows. Nothing actually slows down in the classical sense. The wave simply experiences a different rate of time flow inside the material. The same principle that explains gravitational lensing also explains ordinary lenses and rainbows. This turns one of the most familiar phenomena in optics into a direct consequence of variable time flow caused by energy density gradients. How might realizing that refraction and rainbows are caused by local changes in time flow rather than photons slowing down change the way we think about light, materials, or the design of new optical technologies? A Theory of Everything should be able to answer everything. Uniphics Explained Simply PDF: Chapters 1–10 free: Grokipedia #Uniphics #Refraction #Rainbows #TimeFlow #Light Grok xAIshow more

Our daughter Julia and some girlfriends are visiting San... Francisco, California, for the first time, and her initial reaction is: “I love how many tech people are here. I can immediately recognize.” As if to prove the point, the girls took a ride in a Waymo (driverless taxi)—a Jaguar no less—which still seems like magic to me. This Pokemon vending machine had Evolving Skies for the... longest time. This was from a few years ago, before most people knew about vending machines and before a larger expansion of locations. Over a few months I was able to accumulate around 200 or so, and this year I’ve been using them in trades to offset price. I’m down to about 15 😅 Also don’t worry, I ALWAYS left some behind. Introducing MLX-Swift-TS An SDK for running time series foundation... models fully on-device on Apple Silicon. When I joined Datadog, Inc. , I was introduced to Toto, our time series foundation model, and got excited about zero-shot forecasting across different domains. While building a health copilot app, I realized there wasn’t a simple way to run models like these locally on device. So I built one. MLX-Swift-TS exposes a common TimeSeriesForecaster interface for loading and running multiple time series architectures directly in Swift using MLX. No server required. The attached video shows on-device forecasting running inside a native Swift app. Huge thanks to Awni Hannun and the MLX team for building MLX and its Swift API, Prince Canuma for inspiration on MLX SDK patterns, and Ameet Talwalkar and the Datadog team for Toto.show more

While building SEV0, I ran into moments where natural... language prompting just wasn't enough - too vague, too indirect. So I started using a method that bridges that gap. I call it Bridged Prompting - a technique where you temporarily step out of the prompt-response loop to manipulate something directly using an AI-generated UI, then step back in. Think of it like GenUI, but more user-driven and transient. AI generates a UI on-the-fly, tailored to your prompt, and lets you manipulate the artifact directly before resuming the conversation. Sure, you could build a full tool, switch tabs, wire it up and round-trip your data. But with Bridged Prompting, the AI just spins up a temporary interface right in the flow. In the video below, I used it to construct the hallway system to closely match the layout of the severed floor. This is something I needed to do for this one project, this one time - I didn't need to make a whole separate app. Bridged Prompting lets you: - Make precise edits visually or structurally - "Hit save" to persist changes to local storage or a backend - Return to your natural language promptshow more

This isn’t teleportation in the sci-fi sense. It’s something... deeper and more fundamental. What’s actually happening is quantum state transfer, where information is reconstructed at another location using entanglement. But here’s the interesting part In my τ-framework, this works because reality isn’t continuous in the way we think. It’s structured through a time-field, where information exists as stable patterns across a temporal lattice. When two systems are entangled, they’re not “connected through space”… they’re sharing the same underlying time-structure. So the information doesn’t travel across distance. It reappears where the time-field allows the same pattern to stabilize. That’s why it looks instant. Not because it breaks physics but because it bypasses distance entirely. If this is correct, then teleportation isn’t movement… it’s reconstruction through temporal symmetry. The real question is: Can we control the time-field enough to scale this beyond quantum systems? I'm still in Busan, spending a quality time with... my family here. I was unsuccessful in securing tickets for either day for Busan concert even though I tired till the end on Nol World queue and I needed some time to gather my thoughts and sort through my emotions😢 Tbh I felt really sad and helpless. But now that I think about it, this experience gave me a whole new perspective in a way.. I was roaming around outside of the stadium and found a spot where many neighborhood residents were gathered along with some Armys. We chanted and sang together too. The spot I found happened to be on a hill where a walking trail was connected. So, many locals who were passing by stopped to join and cheered together. Whenever Jin's face appeared on the screen, I couldn't help but notice even locals blurting out in excitement 'OMG, he's insanely handsome!' I am not gonna lie...I was really disappointed and disheartened before the concert as this ticketing and camping all day long experience in Nol Wolrd felt so out of my control.. But it is what it is and I guess that was as far as my luck in Busan would take me. At the end of the day, I'm still grateful that I was able to share the same space (in a way 😅) and be part of the experience with Seokjin on top of seeing my family here in Busan again this time of the year. Choosing positivity wins in the end. *The first photo is Huinnyeol Cultral Village located in Yeongdo, farthest south of Busan. It's a beautiful and peaceful spot offering amazing scenic views, where my family and I had a great time :) I recommend you visit there next time if you get a chance :) [NAVER Maps] Huinnyeoul Culture Village 605-3 Yeongseon-dong 4(sa)-ga Yeongdo-gu Busan #Jin #방탄소년단진 #진 방탄소년단show more

Every once in a while, your travels bring you... to a destination so visually perfect and deeply peaceful that it feels less like a real place and more like a lucid dream. Welcome to absolute bliss, a sanctuary where the palm trees sway, the water is a perfect, shimmering crystal blue, and time completely slows down. Tucked away on the sleepy southern edge of the legendary Laguna de Bacalar, Mexico's famous Lagoon of Seven Colors, lies a breathtaking natural wonder known as Los Rápidos de Bacalar. Geographically, Los Rápidos functions as a majestic, river-like channel that tightly constricts the flowing waters connecting the main lagoon system. This natural narrowing creates a gentle, steady, and entirely therapeutic current. The ritual here is beautifully simple: you walk up the wooden boardwalk against the flow, slip into the pristine, crystal-clear turquoise water, and let the earth's natural "lazy river" effortlessly float you back down stream. Yet, the true magic of Los Rápidos runs far deeper than its surface beauty. The limestone shelves lining the crystal currents are actually clusters of stromatolites, rare, living rock-like structures formed by cyanobacteria that represent some of the oldest life forms on our planet. Swimming through this ancient ecosystem requires mindful respect; tourists are strictly instructed to float down the center of the lane and never step on or touch these fragile living monuments. By trading the high-octane resorts of Cancun for the slow, eco-conscious rhythm of Bacalar, you unlock a raw piece of Mayan paradise that redefines what a tropical escape can be. 🎥 fopix143 | IGshow more

Here it comes Starting out in Australia I never... thought things like this were possible. No one from Australia had ever “made it” so the idea that anything like this would ever be a reality seemed so far fetched. This week I got to wrestle in front of over ten thousand, countless friends and family, do interviews with the news outlets I grew up watching, test myself against some of the greatest to ever do it and just so happened to get into the best shape of my life for it. Plus I got to share my beautiful country with my beautiful life partner for the first time (and see Bodhi the golden) This entire week has felt surreal. Overwhelming at times but all worth it for one of the best days of my life. Thank you for being a part of it in any way, it will never be lost on me how blessed I am to live this life. I disagree completely with SypherPK here. LEGO Fortnite Odyssey... in it's current state is NOT a watered down version of anything. In 15 Months time the game mode received updates for: - Fishing + Fish Processing - Driving, Floating, & Flying Vehicles. - Farm Animals w/ Food & Material Processing. - Star Wars Island w/ Weapons, Builds & Villagers. - Expert & Cozy Mode w/ Trophies and Challenges. - Fast Travel Bus Stations. - Lost Isles (Klombo Island) w/ Klombo Trading Station. - New Progression System + Crafting System. - Final Boss w/ Mythic Rewards Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. However, calling LEGO Fortnite Odyssey a "watered down version of Minecraft" is just something players say that HAVEN'T played the game since launch. You can keep the opinion that Minecraft is a better game, while also acknowledging that LEGO Fortnite Odyssey has made HIGH QUALITY updates that aren't watered down updates in comparison to Minecraft.show more

So many times in anime and movies, someone jumped... in the air for an attack and the guy dodged the attack while he was in the air, so he redirected the hit of the attack, he definetly would have not landed like a braindead bot without trying to turn and hit the enemy, so it totally makes sense. The AI looks more dynamic, it's looks alive and that's cool. So that attack is totally so natural in my book. As I said, we could discuss about other attacks and the tracking of them in Ninja Gaiden 4, but that one ? I would die on a hill to say that attack is totally legit and I'm so glad that it is exactly like this. Like I absolutely defend NG2 Alexei, Volf, Liz and other bosses attacks. I could mention also NG2, NG3RE, Nioh , Wo Long and Stranger of Paradise, because in so many years, I NEVER saw anybody complaining about the SAME KIND of thing and attack like in those games, but when it comes into NG4, people will find any EXCUSES to hate it and find issues, even when there are not. But some people that are just happy to find something to bring on their NG4 hater agenda. Here some quick examples and most of those people that are complaining about that attack in NG4, are the same that praise those games, only because there no Ninja Gaiden name on it, so there is no hate agenda to bring on vs them 😅show more

"My son Ryan was 24. He came home from... Afghanistan in a flag-draped coffin on a Tuesday. Max was his dog. Ryan trained him from a puppy. They were inseparable for four years. We couldn't tell Max. I don't know how you tell a dog. I don't know if you can. All I know is that Max lay against Ryan's bedroom door every single night for eleven days. Not inside the room. Against the door. Like he was keeping it for him. Like he was making sure nobody closed it all the way." On the twelfth day I sat down on the hallway floor beside him. I don't know why the twelfth day. I had walked past him eleven times. The twelfth time my legs just stopped. I sat down on the floor and I put my hand on his back and I said Ryan's name out loud for the first time since the men in dress uniforms came to my door. Max lifted his head. He looked at me. He put his head in my lap. We sat there on the hallway floor for a long time. Neither of us went into the room. Neither of us was ready. Maybe neither of us will ever be ready. That's okay. The door is still not closed all the way. Some people you just keep a place for. Ryan. Max is still at your door. He's going to be at your door. We both are. Drop a ❤️ for Ryan. Mentava’s early literacy software has taken 2yos (almost 3)... to an early 2nd grade reading level in as little as 3 months. Some people think this is a miracle. I do not. If a kid can learn fast, we let them learn fast. If a kid learns slower, we let them learn slower. This should be common sense, but unfortunately it’s opposed by the National Education Association, the National Council of Teachers of English, the National Council of Teachers in Mathematics, and many other groups who drive education policy. It’s a tragic indictment of our education system that Mentava simply reveals how fast some kids can learn and people think it’s a miracle. Mentava’s early literacy software has two main ingredients: curriculum + motivation There’s nothing revolutionary about Mentava’s curriculum. Our curriculum is a typical, extremely structured phonics curriculum. There is a massive body of evidence (and common sense) backing the idea that kids should learn to read by sounding out words. Armed with any decent phonics curriculum, I would expect a skilled parent/teacher who can motivate, engage, and teach a kid 1-1 on a daily basis over a period of several months to get similar results to our software. (I frequently recommend the book Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons as a cheaper alternative to Mentava.) So why do some families choose to pay $500/month for Mentava? Well, not everyone has the time/motivation/desire to become that teacher. Some people do, and they love that process. On the other hand, some families come to Mentava and say, “I used that book to teach my first child to read. It worked, we both hated it, and I will never do it again.” By contrast, my 4yo wakes me up in the morning asking to do Mentava. He gets mad in the evenings when I don’t have time to do it with him. He LOVES learning to read. What Mentava does exceptionally well is provide motivation and fun - without sacrificing academic rigor. Our team members led some of the top mobile and AAA games in the world. We are very very good at motivation design. In short, we take phonics and gamify it to be as fun, easy, efficient, and motivating as we can possibly make it. So, claims: - Mentava works really, really well for SOME kids - Mentava probably does not work well for ALL kids - Under ideal conditions, other phonics programs will probably perform similarly to Mentava (or better!) No research study will tell you whether Mentava is the best fit for your family. So we offer a two-week free trial. That’s enough time for some families to make it most of the way through our kindergarten curriculum. Use Mentava with the kids it works for. Don't use it with kids for whom it doesn't. Don’t overcomplicate things.show more

After five years at Twitch, the road comes to... an end due to today’s Amazon layoffs. Five years ago, I took a leap from being a full time creator on Twitch to joining Twitch proper. I wanted to make a real impact for creators on a larger scale, and I know I did that. I started on the Charity team expanding charity education helping nonprofits understand how to collaborate with creators and supporting creators fundraising for the causes they care most about. I onboarded and fast tracked animal focused non profits to Twitch, helping them bring their animal cams online during the pandemic to grow global audiences beyond local support during the shutdown. From that work, I created the Animals, Aquariums & Zoos category on Twitch. Im also one of the folks who launched the Twitch Charity Tool, empowering creators to fundraise directly on Twitch for nonprofits. After the first layoff, I was moved to Twitch’s Marketing department, where I expanded the Ambassador Program giving it new life and to the Ambassadors, new direction and purpose. From integrating ambassadors into internal feedback loops across monetization, product, trust & safety and more, to larger inclusion in marketing efforts across the site as well as TwitchCon, these were some of the way I uplifted and supported Twitch Ambassadors, their communities and the things they are passionate about. As for what’s next, I’m updating my resume and exploring new opportunities where I can continue empowering communities through community management, creator partnerships, program management, or marketing. While I look for my next adventure, I’ll also be returning to content creation, so you’ll definitely be seeing more of me around. I’ve got some things I’ve been wanting to create and right now is the perfect time 🙂 It’s not goodbye. It’s see you in chat. 💜show more

For those who don’t like Blockie, I’ve got one... for you that might change your mind: At the 2023 PGA where his life exploded, I followed him for ESPN in the final round (the one where he made the hole-in-one) and had the chance to speak to him on Sunday prior to the round when he was paired with Rory. Both he and his lovely wife Val gave me almost 20 minutes of their time and were so open and honest and offfered so many amazing stories I used on the air. No other person who was in his position with everything on the line would’ve done that. Nobody. I have also had him (and his son Dylan) on my podcast for Silver Club Golfing Society soon after that PGA and I didn’t have to jump through any hoops with his agent or anything. I even played a practice round with him at the ‘25 PGA Professional Championship and he couldn’t have been nicer. We all want athletes to speak their mind and let us in, and when they open up and say what’s on their mind they get ripped by social media. I don’t see the reason for the haters. My experience last have been nothing but 100% positive. Blockie is a star in my book.show more

There is no royal family in Europe more down-to-earth... than Norway's. I feel it in my bones every time I think of them. I was ten years old when our beloved King Olav V passed away. Like every other child in Oslo, I was allowed to stand before his casket and whisper a final goodbye. I still remember the hush, the candles, the sense that we had all lost someone who truly belonged to us. Because that's what he was - not a distant monarch, but our king. I don't know of another country in Europe where the royal family is so loved, so close to the hearts of ordinary people, as in Norway. And tonight, that closeness shines again. King Harald - together with Crown Prince Haakon, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, and Prince Sverre Magnus - is welcoming Team Norge to the Royal Palace. Our athletes, our pride, our flag-bearers, celebrated by the very family that has stood beside this nation through every joy and every sorrow. This is Norway. This is who we are. 🇳🇴show more
