Yesterday on the Metro Forward silver line I saw... this guy make humping motions + saying sexually aggressive things like “I will choke and f*ck you” to a random woman, who told him to leave or she would call 911. I said “leave her alone” but he continued, which is when I started recording the second clip. Biola and her friend had just left a restaurant by the expressway after dinner. Despite having a driver, she chose to drive herself and asked her driver to follow behind in her friend's car. Though fully equipped with safety gear, Teejay was knocked unconscious and left sprawled on the road. After the crash, Biola Adams-Odutayo refused to step out of her vehicle to check on Teejay. Bystanders and good Samaritans rushed to help, begging her to assist, but she did nothing. When they approached her friend, they were reportedly told: "She doesn't want blood to stain her car." As Teejay lay unconscious but still breathing, Biola—a healthcare professional and Head of Health at a reputable insurance brokering firm—chose to stay on a phone call for over 30 minutes instead of helping save a life. As always, while watching some scenes from the episode,... I get this déjà vu. And this time it happened during the hospital scene. I’m honestly 100% sure that the earlier almost miscarriage situation was intentional. It felt like they wanted to show us Serhat’s reaction when his child and the woman carrying his child were in danger and then later contrast it with his reaction when the woman he truly loves, the other half of his soul, is the one fighting for her life. I will never stop appreciating Ilhan’s acting. From episode one people doubted him, saying he only had one expression. But back then that was Serhat… the controlled doctor, M’s husband, the surgeon who keeps everything inside. Now he’s completely different. The emotional shift is almost 180 degrees from that version of Serhat. From the cave scene to the hospital scene the emotions were already intense, but the hospital was a masterpiece. The way he could barely stay standing, the way he allowed himself to cry openly even though his guards were around him! he didn’t care. Because the woman he loves had just been lifeless in his arms. And look at the details: he went down on his knees twice in this episode for her. A man as powerful and towering as a mountain fell to his knees because he felt utterly helpless! First in the cave, when he realized he was helpless! she was fainting, the venom in her blood was faster than anything he could do, and his strength meant nothing in that moment. Then again in the hospital, when he finally reached his limit and simply couldn’t stay standing anymore😭 And this is the same man who showed almost no emotion when his father died. The same man who barely reacted when his mother had a heart attack. The same man who stayed composed when his legal wife nearly miscarried. Exactly. While this is true, it’s also irrelevant in... the grand scheme of things. Ross was at fault, period. Here’s why: First off, it’s against DHS policy & training for an officer to approach a vehicle from the front in this situation, and this “officer-induced jeopardy” negates the officers use of force claim and puts him at fault, period. There’s no debate on this as video evidence from multiple sources clearly show Ross stopping in front of her vehicle, and then taking the time to shift his phone from his right hand to his left so he can draw his weapon…BEFORE she even started moving. THIS is simply reality, and the conversation should end here. Second, it’s against DHS Use of Deadly Force policy (which is codified law) to fire at a moving vehicle that doesn’t pose imminent danger to officers, and even if they ARE in danger, it mandates deescalation before using deadly force, which EXPRESSLY states simply “moving out of the way” of a vehicle as a correct course of action before using deadly force (see attached doc below). Third, there is already well-established legal precedent governing these EXACT types of situations, and this officer would likely be found guilty by any jury in the U.S. For example: Adam’s vs. Speers (2020): “Once Speers was no longer in the path of the vehicle, the justification for the use of deadly force ended.” Orn vs. City of Tacoma (2019): “A reasonable jury could conclude that once Orn was no longer in the car’s trajectory, the threat of serious physical harm to him was eliminated.” Cordova vs Aragon (2009): “Where the officer had moved out of the way of the oncoming vehicle, the use of deadly force was not justified.” Villanueva vs. Cali (2021): “a reasonable jury could conclude that the Officers used excessive force, because they lacked an objectively reasonable basis to fear for their own safety, as they could simply have stepped back or to the side to avoid being injured.” Fifth, the videos/pics below CLEARLY show the officer was NOT in immediate danger, and the woman was moving away from him when he fired his FIRST shot when he was already clear to the left of the vehicle, and he fired the second & third shots point-blank into her face from the SIDE of the vehicle as she passed. That alone is enough to send him to prison, even if his first shot was somehow inexplicably deemed to be justified.show more

Instead of defending the "passionate Lagosians" (our indigenous youths) who confronted her, Omotoso apologized to her, told her she "did no wrong," and offered her state protection like a prize. He effectively branded the sons of the soil as the "problem" to please a stranger. Let’s be clear: If Gbenga Omotoso were in his ancestral home in Osun, he would never side with a settler against his own kinsmen. He would defend his blood and his heritage. But because he is a "settler" in Lagos, he feels no such loyalty. To him, our ancestral land is just a political playground where he can pander to outsiders at our expense. This is the "liberal" curse of the current administration—inviting guests who eventually spit in the faces of the hosts. We are tired of "mercenary" officials who use our resources to shield those who mock our city's challenges.
