I think what’s so poetic about this image is... that it was unintentional. I had my phone set up to record the launch and at about 40 seconds into the launch, it hit me that this is the FIRST TIME a woman is going to the moon. My mother and grandmother were alive during the Apollo missions but this is the FIRST time they’re witnessing a woman making that journey. My heart filled and I turned the camera to capture my reaction in that exact moment. I’m so glad I did. The image you’re seeing is a woman in STEM in awe over Christina Koch - and the impact her journey will have on millions of girls around the world. So last night at the movies, I got a... notification that my right tire pressure was low, almost flat. I feared that someone had slashed it, but after the movie was done, went outside to check. We found a nail in the tire immediately and I was so happy that I used my referral credits just last week to purchase a tire air compressor in the Tesla shop. I had credits that were going to expire and I figured while I might as well get some safety related things to put in my car since I’m having a baby soon and immediately had a use for it!!
